Chapter 396: Chapter 396: I’ll Beat You Every Ti I See You!

Mo Shaolin knocked on the door, and Huo Siyu, seeing his shaless persistence, found it laughable.

She opened the door and stood coldly in the doorway, staring at him with indifference.

“Mo Shaolin, are you here to pick a fight again? Are you sick? If you’re sick, get treated. Don’t co to for a beating when you’re bored.”

Mo Shaolin stood at the doorway and spoke softly, “Nan Qiao made Xiaxia’s leg unable to walk. She stood up for you. Huo Siyu, all of this is my fault. If you want to vent, you can co at . Can you let Xiaxia go?”

Huo Siyu chuckled coldly, “She says it was Qiaoqiao, so now it’s Qiaoqiao? You trust her words so much—are you a worm living in her stomach?”

“Xiaxia is innocent. She wouldn’t lie. As long as you can save her, I’ll do anything you ask.”

“Anything? What if I ask you to die—would you agree?” Huo Siyu raised her eyebrow with a mocking smile.

“Huo Siyu, you can stab a few tis to relieve yourself. If I die, I worry others won’t care for Xiaxia properly.”

Huo Siyu burst into laughter, sizing up Mo Shaolin from head to toe. “Honestly, I do want to stab you a few tis, but I’m not planning to land myself in prison over soone like you. As for Li Xia’s leg—it wasn’t Qiaoqiao. If you want answers, go find Li Yehan. Or why don’t you ask Qiaoqiao herself? Do you think saying these things to will lead to beg Qiaoqiao for help? If it wasn’t Qiaoqiao, then what am I begging her for?”

Huo Siyu thought to herself—it’s ti to move. Staying here any longer would only give Mo Shaolin more opportunities to break in.

“That’s enough, isn’t it? If there’s nothing else, get lost—I don’t want to see you.” Huo Siyu shut the door.

She pulled out her phone and started reaching out to Hou Ze for help, plotting to move house tomorrow.

She was living in a property under her na, one Mo Shaolin could easily track down.

If she moved into an anonymous rental, there’d be no way for Mo Shaolin to find her.

Hou Ze received the ssage and instantly asked, “Is that bastard Mo Shaolin bothering you again?”

“Houzi, I just want to move—I don’t want to stay here anymore. Help find a place, thanks.”

Not wanting to dwell on Mo Shaolin, Huo Siyu appreciated Hou Ze’s tact in not probing further.

“Xiao Yu, I’ll start looking for a new place for you now. Move out tomorrow morning. I’ll find a place that’s ready for you to move into without trouble. If you want to pack clothes, I’ll call two organizing specialists over tonight.”

“No need. My clothes are simple; I’ll pack them myself.”

“Alright, then—start packing. I’ll bring in so help.”

Hou Ze sent out ssages, quickly getting in touch with soone who found the perfect place.

Mo Shaolin knocked again, but Huo Siyu didn’t open the door. Instead, she called the building managent to have security escort him out.

Claiming she didn’t know Mo Shaolin and labeling him a lunatic, Huo Siyu directed the guards to block his entry.

Unable to get inside, Mo Shaolin had no choice but to leave the community.

He sighed helplessly but hadn’t walked far before a sharp kick made him drop to one knee.

Standing up, Mo Shaolin looked into the raging glare of Hou Ze.

“You still dare to bother Xiao Yu? Are you asking for death, you son of a bitch!”

With that, Hou Ze imdiately landed another punch.

Dodging, Mo Shaolin attempted a sweeping kick, but Hou Ze leapt toward him.

They say rivals in love fight fiercely—Hou Ze’s blood-red eyes matched his unrelenting aggression as he pumled Mo Shaolin.

Hou Ze surged forward, forcing Mo Shaolin to retreat. Not quick enough, he took a flying kick straight to the chest.

Hou Ze smirked with disdain. “Pathetic.”

Feeling insulted, Mo Shaolin retaliated in anger.

The two exchanged punches, refusing to yield to one another.

Minutes later, Hou Ze’s lip was split, while Mo Shaolin’s face was swollen—not a victor among them.

“Mo Shaolin, don’t co crawling to Xiao Yu again. If I see you near her, I’ll beat you every damn ti!”

Mo Shaolin shot back, “You like Huo Siyu?”

“Of course I do. I like Xiao Yu,” Hou Ze replied without hesitation.

Mo Shaolin froze briefly, caught off guard by the admission.

“Huo Siyu doesn’t like you.” Mo Shaolin blurted out, unsure why these words spilled from him, his chest tightening.

“And what’s it to you whether she likes or not? It’s not like she likes you, either. Who the hell are you? Xiao Yu may not like now, but that doesn’t an she won’t in the future. You, on the other hand—Xiao Yu will never like you in this lifeti.”

Mo Shaolin felt an ache in his heart and lashed out again, continuing to fight Hou Ze, as if channeling his frustration into his fists.

The brawl ended with both n badly bruised.

Li Xia called Mo Shaolin to ask how things went with Huo Siyu.

Mo Shaolin’s voice sounded heavy, “Huo Siyu doesn’t acknowledge Nan Qiao hurt you. Xiaxia, are you certain Nan Qiao did this to you?”

Li Xia was stunned; she hadn’t expected him to question her.

“Brother Shaolin, why would I lie to you? Nan Qiao injured —she hung out of the hospital window and nearly dropped . How could I possibly be mistaken?”

“Xiaxia, it’s not that I don’t believe you—it’s just that Huo Siyu sounded so certain Nan Qiao wasn’t involved.”

“Brother Shaolin, I know you and Huo Siyu have a close relationship, but I’m honestly not lying to you.”

Mo Shaolin flinched when he heard “close relationship,” feeling conflicted.

“Xiaxia, I’ll find a solution. I’ll search for renowned doctors and get the best treatnt for your leg; everything will be fine. Trust .”

Li Xia retorted: “Trust my ass!”

Li Xia strongly suspected Mo Shaolin trusted Huo Siyu more.

Was Mo Shaolin really an idiot? How could Huo Siyu’s claims be credible?

Her voice choked with grievance, “Brother Shaolin, why won’t you believe ? Do you think I don’t know who hurt ? Nan Qiao was right there; I saw her face clearly. How could I be mistaken?”

“Xiaxia, it’s not about doubting you. I do believe you.”

“If you believed , you wouldn’t doubt whether I was lying. Brother Shaolin, you’ve changed. I know you and Huo Siyu shared sothing before. I can even understand your trust in her. But honestly—I wouldn’t lie to you, Brother Shaolin. How could I?”

Mo Shaolin, distressed by Li Xia’s frail tone, erupted: “Xiaxia, I never had any feelings for Huo Siyu—believe !”

Li Xia curled her lips into a smile on her end but kept her voice pitiful as she replied, “Brother Shaolin, I know—I understand.”

“Tomorrow, I’ll approach Nan Qiao. I’ll speak to Ye Han and ask him to persuade Nan Qiao too.”

“Thank you, Brother Shaolin.”

“Think nothing of it. Xiaxia, get so rest soon.”

“Alright, Brother Shaolin. Goodnight.”

Mo Shaolin hung up, the effort of talking stretching his sore mouth painfully.

Leaning back on the sofa, he clutched his aching chest and coughed a few tis, suspecting internal bleeding.

Holding his phone, Mo Shaolin video-called Li Yehan.

Monts later, the call connected.

“Ye Han, can you speak to Nan Qiao? Ask her to help heal Xiaxia’s leg, please?”
