Chapter 282: Mary Sue’s Great Sacrifice, You’re Not Completely Indifferent to n (3)

Tia’s mind conjured an image of Shia, and she pursed her lips tightly.

Her chest swelled with emotions, desperate for release but finding no outlet.

Lilith lowered her gaze slightly, suppressing the turmoil within her heart.

"My affairs are none of your concern."

Her tone carried a faint hint of displeasure.

Tia finally reached her breaking point.

Splash!

The damp towel slapped the water, sending small droplets splashing onto Lilith’s skin.

Her emotions poured out all at once.

Though her outburst was impolite and unprofessional, Tia couldn’t keep it bottled up any longer.

"Young Miss, don’t you see? Shia is utterly insidious!"

"He’s manipulating you!"

"Everything he’s doing is blatantly humiliating you!"

"Wake up! Stop letting him deceive you!"

Tia’s voice was loud and sharp, carrying a tone of severity.

But if one listened closely, every word she spoke was laced with pleading.

How could her young mistress believe in soone so deceitful? Why had things co to this?

Tia’s heart ached unbearably.

Even though she had mustered all her courage to expose Shia’s true nature, it would an nothing if Lilith refused to believe her.

Lilith, however, found Tia’s urgent reprimand rather irritating.

“Is this how you talk to your mistress?” she said coldly.

Tia faltered, guilt flashing across her face, but she still straightened her neck, refusing to back down. She was determined to save her young mistress, no matter what.

“So, what you’re saying is, I’m stupid?” Lilith turned around, her gaze heavy as it locked onto Tia.

“Tia, I hope you rember your place.”

“What I’m doing is based on my own calculations.”

“With my intelligence, do you really think Shia can escape from my grasp?”

“I don’t want to hear you say such things again.”

“If there’s a next ti…”

She left the threat unfinished, but the aning was clear.

This woman, brimming with confidence in her own cunning, didn’t take a single word of Tia’s warnings to heart.

After all, hadn’t she kept Shia under her thumb for all these years?

How could Tia’s concerns possibly be true?

The white-haired maid’s body swayed, torn between anger and helplessness.

She had no rebuttal.

Because for years, it was true—Lilith had kept Shia in check.

But Lilith didn’t realize that Shia wasn’t the sa person he once was.

Tia clenched her teeth, her heart heavy.

I’ve sacrificed so much to protect you.

I know his true nature better than anyone.

Why won’t you believe ?

As she stared at Lilith’s confident expression, Tia felt her vision of the future grow dim.

Seeing Tia’s silence, Lilith snorted softly and turned back around.

“Help bathe.”

“These nonsensical words—because of your loyal service, I’ll let it slide this ti.”

“But there won’t be a next ti!”

Lilith’s voice dripped with arrogance and self-satisfaction, ignoring every bit of her maid’s heartfelt warning.

In that instant, she failed to notice the change in the expression of the maid behind her.

A peculiar glint shone in Tia’s eyes, her icy features now tinged with a trace of danger.

She had tried to persuade Lilith, but her words fell on deaf ears.

I’ve done so much for you, protected you through everything, and yet you insist on walking this path.

If that’s the case, then I’ll let you beco his plaything!

Tia’s mind replayed Shia’s words.

“What if I made her just like you?”

Yes… she was bound to end up like this anyway.

If disaster was inevitable, it might as well be by her own hands.

At that mont, Tia completed her descent into darkness.

Lilith remained blissfully unaware that her most loyal maid was slipping into soone else’s grasp.

Now, she was focused on assisting Shia.

Lilith crouched in the bushes, occasionally rising to peek at the villa ahead.

She tilted her head slightly to speak to the person beside her.

“In a mont, I’ll go out first to draw her attention. She’ll hate enough to look for an escape, and that’s when you can make your grand entrance.”

Shia leaned against the shadowed wall, turning his head slightly to glance at the golden-haired "big dog" crouching in the grass. A faint smile played on his lips.

Their plan was simple: Lilith would provoke White and create the perfect opportunity for Shia to et her.

Everything was in place; they just had to wait for White’s appearance.

Lilith’s antics were, admittedly, laughable.

Though shaless to the core, her relentless pursuit of her goal was admirable in its own way.

After all, most people wouldn’t have the audacity to be this brazen.

Without sha, there was nothing one couldn’t achieve.

When Lilith didn’t hear a response from Shia, she turned to speak again, but the sound of the villa’s door opening interrupted her.

Her eyes lit up, and she shot out of the bushes imdiately.

A tall, silver-haired woman stepped out, exuding an aura of cold elegance. In just a mont, Lilith, with her golden curls and radiant smile, appeared before her.

White’s expression grew colder the mont she saw Lilith.

“White, hello!”

“Are you heading to class? We can go together!” Lilith greeted cheerfully, flashing a dazzling smile as if they were the best of friends.

It was as though their previous conflicts had never happened.

At first, White had been open to interacting with this enthusiastic classmate.

Though she usually appeared aloof, she wasn’t entirely opposed to making friends.

Lilith’s initial warmth, while a bit overbearing, had been tolerable. Besides, Lilith was one of the few people who didn’t provoke her bloodlust.

So, in the beginning, White had genuinely considered befriending her.

But as ti went on, sothing began to feel… off.

White, as a vampire, had a keen sense for deception and hidden motives. She started noticing the subtle, overly familiar gestures from Lilith.

Though it was normal for girls to express closeness in their friendships, Lilith’s actions often crossed a line.

White disliked excessive physical contact to begin with, and her discomfort only grew as Lilith continued ignoring her boundaries.

At first, she simply avoided Lilith’s touch.

But Lilith didn’t seem to get the hint and persisted.

Now, White’s friendliness had turned into disdain.

Yet Lilith remained oblivious, clinging to her with relentless enthusiasm.

Sotis White wondered if Lilith’s only purpose in coming here was to provoke her into a reaction.

No matter how many tis White lashed out, Lilith always returned, stubbornly sticking around like chewing gum.

Seeing her again now, White instinctively stepped back, her headache already brewing.

What would it take to make her give up?

Should she beat her again?

Or find a more permanent solution?
