When Nyxara returned, she was shocked to discover that Myles was sitting at the dominion chair.

The dominion chair was a black-tal throne in the center of the chamber. Its purpose was torture.

However, when Myles sat, with his wings folded now, as though he had learned how to control them when she was away, Nyxara thought she was not staring at a prisoner.

Myles leaned his right cheeks on his right hand with its elbow on the armrest. His expression was ambiguous, as though the world rested on his shoulders.

He appeared carefree, but at the sa ti, the aura he exuded seed to be ready anyti there was jeopardy.

His eyes soon moved upward and landed at her, and her heart skipped a beat.

He asked, "What’s wrong?"

Nyxara was taken aback and imdiately tried to regain her composure.

"N-Nothing. I brought the prisoner here."

Nyxara grabbed the prisoner behind her roughly and pushed it forward.

The prisoner stumbled into the ground, trembling.

Myles glanced at it and scrutinized its appearance.

It was small, fat-bodied with pale, mud-colored skin and multi-jointed limbs like a centipede.

When its tiny almost blind eyes t his, he felt sickened.

How ugly! Uglier than the past !

"This is a crawler. He’s a tunnel worker, who incited revolt a month ago. He invited a hundred of his mbers and were now imprisoned. He’s their leader and at Rank 1 Common Demon. There were still twenty others, who were at the Common Demon rank with different minor ranks."

Myles frowned. "Why did he incite a revolt with their low level ranks?"

Nyxara said, "He said that he just wanted us to inform us about their unjust treatnt, not coming from us, but the Lashfiends who supervised them. We also imprisoned them."

"So, you didn’t think of forgiving them?"

Nyxara shrugged. "The collateral damage he caused with his friends was beyond to be forgiven. They can’t pay it, so they deserve the death sentence. However, his families and other crawlers were not treated unjustly and even received compensation from the Lashfiends."

Myles nodded.

He stood up and grabbed the crawler, dragging him towards the dominion chair.

Nyxara was lost for words, but closed the door and remained standing. Since Myles himself did not ask for privacy, she curiously remained inside, wanting to know how Myles experinted with the prisoner.

Myles was aware of Nyxara’s presence and let him be. She was part of the experint, too.

Once the crawler sat on the dominion chair, leaning his whole body and head on the arm rest, as though he was on death bed already, Myles asked the voice in his head.

"How do I consu his core?"

[You have to physically grab his core. Don’t forget to make him utter your demon na first.]

Myles was surprised. He only realized the current state of the crawler might be incapable of uttering his na.

He scrutinized the crawler for a while and when he spotted sothing, he grinned.

"Do you want to know my demon na?"

The crawler’s eyes were tiny and almost blind, but Myles perceived his gaze was directed at him.

He smiled, "Repeat after . Vorash. Kael. Nethrux. Zaal’eth.]

The crawler’s eyes widened. He was in disbelief that a demon uttered four words demon na.

Out of curiosity, he uttered the four words demon na slowly.

When he reached the third word, Myles asked the voice inside his mind:

"Do all demons have the sa location as their demonic core?"

[Not all. But the race of a demon in front of you does not belong to the sa unique demon race who have different locations of demonic core.]

Once the demon uttered the fourth word, Myles suddenly changed the form of his right hand into a claw and extended and sharpened his nails with his demonic energy.

He abruptly shoved right claw below the crawler’s navel, instantly grabbing his demonic core.

The crawler was in shock, but the pain instantly coursed through his body, causing him to let out a shrieking piercing noise.

However, Myles was unbothered.

"Please, consu and digest his core now."

[Understood.

The demonic core has been digested.

You have gained a common skill, Burrow Strike.

In addition, you have completely absorbed the demonic energy from his core. You have to consu four more demonic cores at Common Demon rank at any minor rank to ascend in the Common Demon rank.]

Myles listened attentively to the voice in his head and was stunned by the condition to ascend in the Common Demon rank.

He also had forgotten to ask how to ascend in the Common Demon rank after reaching Rank 1 of Lesser Demon rank.

Nevertheless, now that he was aware, he now has a clear idea of what to do in the future for the anti.

When he was finished, the crawler ceased to live.

He slowly pulled his right hand and swung it heavily to get rid of the grey blood.

He frowned when they remained stuck in his hand.

"They’re like paints."

"Paints?" Nyxara asked.

She was unable to restrain from asking unfamiliar words that Myles uttered.

However, she was disappointed when Myles shook his head and said, "Nothing. Also, get rid of this corpse and bring another."

Nyxara was surprised.

She asked, "Why not just bring you twenty of them?"

Myles instantly denied. "You have to bring them one at a ti. You can’t be lazy. Don’t forget that you are my slave."

Nyxara growled.

She asked, "At least, I can bring my assistant to assist , right?"

"No."

Myles’ tone was firm, leaving Nyxara no choice but to complain silently in her heart and grab the corpse of the crawler, without giving Myles a glance.

However, Myles was unbothered as he asked the voice in his mind:

"What is Burrow Strike?"

The voice replied, [Burrow strike is a skill that enables you to move through earth/stone and erge anywhere in structure. However, it’s still a common skill as it doesn’t help you bypass through earth or stone that is engraved with runes. Stones that have demonic properties can’t also be bypassed.]
