Caden Hawthorne slightly furrowed his brows, noticing Riley Hawthorne’s unease. "So, how did it go? Don’t beat around the bush."

Riley scratched her head, a bit embarrassed, and said, "Actually... I was a bit nervous during the interview and didn’t perform very well. But in the end, they still hired ."

Hearing this, Vivian Lynch looked at Riley gently, "Riley, don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Stay calm, the result is good after all."

"Yes, you’re right, sis-in-law!"

Riley chuckled softly, her thoughts drifting back to the interview scene during the day.

She had dressed up carefully, wearing a suitable professional outfit, clutching her resu tightly, and went to Zachary Sutton’s company with a nervous heart.

Standing in front of the company’s building, she took a deep breath, trying to calm her anxious emotions.

This was not just an ordinary interview but also a chance to get closer to the person in her heart.

Walking into the company lobby, the modern décor and busy employees gave her a sense of the company’s vitality and strength.

She followed the instructions to the floor where the interview room was located. With each step she took, her heartbeat involuntarily accelerated.

Finally, she stood at the door of the interview room. She adjusted her clothes and hair again, then gently knocked on the door. A familiar voice ca from inside, "Co in."

Riley pushed the door open and walked in. She imdiately saw Zachary Sutton sitting in the interviewer’s seat. He was wearing a neat suit, his hair ticulously combed, his gaze focused and sharp.

Riley’s heart skipped a beat, and she tried hard to remain calm.

Zachary saw Riley, a trace of surprise flashed in his eyes, but he quickly returned to his calm deanor.

The other interviewers beside him also began to assess Riley.

"Please sit." Zachary pointed to the chair opposite him.

Nervously, Riley sat down, placing her hands on her knees, slightly trembling.

Why was he so calm seeing her co to his company for an interview?

The calr Zachary was, the more nervous Riley beca.

"Please introduce yourself first."

Riley took a deep breath and began to introduce her educational background, work experience, and personal strengths. Her voice was a bit shaky, but she tried to make her answers clear and organized.

Zachary listened intently, occasionally jotting sothing down on paper. His focused and serious gaze made Riley feel an invisible pressure.

Next, the other interviewers also asked so questions, and Riley did her best to answer each one, showcasing her abilities and enthusiasm. She knew that this interview was crucial for her, and she couldn’t afford to relax at all.

During the question-and-answer session, Riley occasionally glanced at Zachary.

His serious and focused expression made her both nervous and expectant. She hoped that her performance could gain his approval.

As the interview progressed, Riley gradually found her rhythm.

Her answers beca more fluent, which made Zachary take notice of her.

He started to ask Riley so more in-depth questions, testing her thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Riley thoughtfully considered each question, providing her insights and solutions.

Her answers were filled with confidence and passion, and both Zachary and the other interviewers nodded slightly.

Finally, Zachary asked, "Why do you want to join our company?"

Looking into Zachary’s eyes, Riley answered sincerely, "I’ve always been very interested in your company’s business and developnt prospects. I believe that here, I can learn more knowledge and skills and realize my own value. Also, I hope to work with a group of outstanding people and grow together."

Zachary slightly raised the corners of his mouth, a flash of appreciation in his eyes.

After the interview, Riley waited nervously for the results.

At this mont, Zachary ca out from inside and pulled her into a deserted corner.

Zachary’s action made Riley’s heart beat like a drum. She looked at him nervously, unsure what he was going to do.

Looking at Riley, Zachary’s expression carried a mix of emotions. "Riley, why did you co here to interview?"

Riley blushed slightly, panic evident as she said, "I... I think this company has great developnt prospects, so I tried."

Zachary frowned slightly, seemingly not entirely convinced by her words. "Is that really all?"

Riley was clearly nervous, biting her red lips, at a loss for what to do.

At this mont, Zachary, with an expression of helplessness, brought his hands together, mockingly pleading, "My dear lady, in terms of company strength, your brother’s company has better prospects, so don’t co to my rundown company causing trouble."

Riley’s eyes widened in surprise, not expecting Zachary to say such a thing. She quickly waved her hand, "No, it’s not what you think. I genuinely believe this company has potential, and I also want to find a job based on my abilities, not always rely on my brother."

Seeing Riley’s eager explanation, Zachary’s heart was moved slightly. He sighed lightly and said, "Alright, I believe you. But, Riley, the work here isn’t easy. Are you sure you can adapt?"

Riley straightened up, her gaze determined, "Of course, I can adapt. I won’t trouble you, and I’ll work hard to prove my value."

Zachary slightly curved his lips, revealing a barely noticeable smile. "Good, then I’ll look forward to your performance. But fair warning, if your work performance isn’t good, I won’t give you any special treatnt just because you’re Caden Hawthorne’s sister."

Riley nodded, "I know, I’ll prove myself with my abilities."

Watching Riley’s determined deanor, Zachary admired her a bit more.

He turned to leave but suddenly stopped and said to Riley, "Go ho and prepare well. Start work tomorrow!"

Upon hearing this, Riley was overjoyed, "Thank you, Zachary, for giving this opportunity."

"Did your brother know you ca to my company to interview?" Zachary suddenly thought of sothing, his expression becoming serious.

If this "living hell king" knew his sister was coming to work for him, he wouldn’t strip him of a layer of skin, would he?

Riley quickly waved her hands, "My brother doesn’t know, Zachary, rest assured, I won’t tell my brother, and please keep it a secret for ."

Zachary looked at her helplessly, "Alright! But if your brother blas , I’m not responsible."

Riley patted her chest confidently, "Don’t worry! If the sky falls, I’ll hold it up!"

Zachary couldn’t help but laugh when he saw Riley’s confident deanor. "You, like a young calf unafraid of the tiger. But since you’re so confident, I’ll wait and see."

Riley waved to him, "Well then, Zachary, I’ll leave now, bye-bye!"

With that, Riley turned and left, her steps light and almost as if she were flying.

Looking at her joyful back, Zachary couldn’t help but smile.
