Jessica Hart held a cup of scalding coffee and splashed it towards Vivian Lynch.

Vivian Lynch was startled and instinctively raised her hand to block.

At that mont, a tall figure swiftly rushed over, stood in front of Vivian, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and sheltered her in his embrace.

The hot coffee splattered on his back, but the man did not utter a sound.

Everyone looked at the scene in shock, while Jessica Hart stared at the cup in her hand, dumbfounded.

"Are you alright?" A magnetic voice ca from beside her, carrying a hint of hard-to-detect gentleness.

Vivian Lynch slowly raised her head and looked intently, only to realize it was Caden Hawthorne.

"President Hawthorne..." As Vivian thought about the scorching coffee that had spilled entirely on his broad back, and yet he hadn’t even frowned, she beca nervous and quickly held his hand with concern, "President Hawthorne, are you alright?"

Caden Hawthorne shook his head at her, then turned around, his handso face now covered in frost, deep eyes burning with anger. He coldly stared at Jessica Hart and shouted with a low, authoritative voice, "Who gave you the courage?"

His voice seed to carry a millennium’s worth of ice, sending shivers down people’s spines.

Jessica Hart witnessed Caden Hawthorne’s arrival and collapsed to the ground in fright, her voice trembling, "Ho... President Hawthorne, I didn’t know you’d be here, I just... wanted to teach Vivian Lynch a lesson."

Caden Hawthorne let out a cold snort, the chill in his eyes growing stronger, "A lesson? In front of , you dare be so bold!"

He stepped towards Jessica Hart, each step carrying invisible pressure.

Jessica Hart’s face turned ashen, lips trembling as she tried to defend herself, "President Hawthorne, it was Vivian Lynch who first..."

"Shut up!" Caden Hawthorne interrupted harshly, his gaze sharp, "If I recall correctly, weren’t you fired? How are you still appearing in Sinclair?"

At this mont, everyone around was silent as if frozen, not daring to breathe.

Jessica Hart knelt on the ground, shivering, "I..."

Caden Hawthorne turned away, facing away from Jessica Hart, coldly saying, "Bring your President Sinclair here."

Soon, Sean Sinclair ca rushing over, spotting Caden Hawthorne, he quickly put on a smile, "President Hawthorne, why are you here?"

Caden Hawthorne glanced at Sean Sinclair, his tone icy, "Is this how President Sinclair manages the company daily? Wasn’t this woman fired? Why is she still appearing at the company?"

Caden Hawthorne pointed at Jessica Hart, his handso face full of anger. If the scalding coffee had been thrown on Vivian Lynch’s face, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Sean Sinclair saw the spilled coffee on the floor and the coffee on Caden Hawthorne’s back, his smile instantly froze, quickly saying, "President Hawthorne, this was my oversight, I will certainly deal with it seriously."

Caden Hawthorne let out a cold snort, "Best do so. If today’s matter is not handled properly, our cooperation need not continue."

Sean Sinclair broke out in a cold sweat, hurriedly responding, "Rest assured, President Hawthorne, I will give you a satisfactory explanation."

After speaking, Sean Sinclair turned to look at Jessica Hart who was still kneeling on the ground, angrily saying, "Jessica Hart, are you courting death? You dare splash coffee at President Hawthorne, quickly apologize to President Hawthorne, pack your things and leave."

Jessica Hart cried and pleaded, "President Sinclair, I know I was wrong, I beg you to give another chance."

Sean Sinclair remained unmoved, turning his back to her, his face ruthless, "I’ve already given you a chance, but you didn’t cherish it."

Jessica Hart suddenly lunged at Vivian Lynch, grabbing her hand and pleading, "Vivian, I was wrong, I barely stayed at Sinclair and secured a stable job. Please, for the sake of us being middle school classmates, help ."

Vivian Lynch looked at Jessica Hart’s pitiful manner, feeling a bit of sympathy, lightly tugged at Caden Hawthorne’s sleeve, "President Hawthorne, why not let it go this ti?"

Caden Hawthorne furrowed his brows, looking at Vivian Lynch, "She just threw coffee at you and nearly disfigured you, and you still want to plead for her?"

Vivian Lynch lowered her head, softly saying, "I just feel like everyone has it hard."

She knew Jessica Hart was targeting her out of jealousy, her relationship with Sean Sinclair had ended long ago, and she didn’t want to get entangled with them anymore.

Caden Hawthorne coldly said, "No way, if such people don’t get taught a lesson, they’ll continue to commit wrongdoing in the future."

Vivian Lynch was kind-hearted, but Caden Hawthorne did not intend to let Jessica Hart off so easily.

"Security, throw her out."

With his words, Jessica Hart’s face turned ashen instantly, slumped on the ground as tears gushed out, "President Sinclair, save !"

Sean Sinclair turned his face away, seemingly a bit rciless, but still waved to signal the security guards to take Jessica Hart away.

After Jessica Hart was taken away, the atmosphere in the office remained heavy. Caden Hawthorne’s expression remained grim, he looked at Vivian Lynch and his tone softened slightly, "In the future, if you encounter such situations, rember to dodge, don’t naively use your hand to block."

Vivian Lynch nodded, but her heart was still thinking about Jessica Hart’s situation. Obviously, they could have been good friends, but she turned against her because of a man.

Caden Hawthorne seed to see through her thoughts, saying, "Don’t overthink it; this is the punishnt she deserves."

Vivian Lynch gently sighed, "I know, but I feel that things ended like this, sowhat..."

Caden Hawthorne interrupted her, "Vivian Lynch, rember, not everyone in this world deserves your sympathy."

Upon hearing this, Vivian Lynch looked at him in astonishnt.

At that mont, Sean Sinclair stepped forward, apologetically speaking to Caden Hawthorne, "President Hawthorne, sorry for making you laugh today, I assure it won’t happen again."

Caden Hawthorne turned his body to face Sean Sinclair, coldly swept him a glance, "Hope you keep your word."

Sean Sinclair furrowed his brows, sensing sothing unusual between Caden Hawthorne and Vivian Lynch?

Would President Hawthorne co all this way just to shield Vivian Lynch from coffee?

"Haha, President Hawthorne, you ca today, do you have any instructions for our company?"

Caden Hawthorne cleared his throat, "I ca to announce sothing important."

"Important matter?" Hearing this, Sean Sinclair was overjoyed.

Could it be that President Hawthorne intends to announce an investnt in Sinclair publicly?

The next mont, Caden Hawthorne looked at Vivian Lynch and loudly declared, "From today on, our Hawthorne Group formally extends an invitation to Miss Lynch. After her internship ends, she can join Hawthorne and beco a designer at our company."

As soon as Caden Hawthorne finished speaking, everyone present was stunned.

Sean Sinclair widened his eyes, full of disbelief.

Vivian Lynch was also frozen; she didn’t expect Caden Hawthorne to announce this news in front of so many people.

"President Hawthorne, this..." Vivian Lynch was at a loss for words.
