Riley felt a little better after hearing Caden Hawthorne’s words.

She looked at Caden, her eyes filled with expectation. "Brother, can you help find Zachary? I want to know where he is."

Caden looked at his sister with a face full of helplessness, "Riley, why do you have to do this? Zachary Sutton is not suitable. Being together with you won’t lead to anything. Why get yourself so deep into this?"

Riley remained silent for a mont, then said firmly, "I don’t care, I just like Zachary. I believe he also has feelings for ; he just hasn’t realized it yet."

Looking at his sister’s stubbornness, Caden couldn’t help but shake his head, "Do you really want to persist?"

Without hesitation, Riley nodded, "Brother, you probably know better than I do how it feels to like soone. I don’t want to lose Zachary. Emotions aren’t absolute, but I just want to fight for my happiness, even if the result isn’t what I want. At least..."

With tearful eyes, Riley said word by word, "At least, I tried and pursued."

Seeing Riley so persistent, Caden was genuinely worried that she’d keep getting hurt over and over.

"Since you’re so insistent, I’ll give you a hand."

He knew that only when Riley was completely disheartened would she let go of this relationship.

"Thank you, brother." Riley’s face was full of joy.

"Tomorrow, I’ll find an opportunity to et up with Zachary, but now you must go ho imdiately," Caden said to Riley in a commanding tone.

Though sowhat reluctant, Riley nodded. "Alright, I’ll go ho and wait for your news."

Caden watched his sister’s departing figure, filled with concern.

He wasn’t sure if he was doing the right or wrong thing, but he hoped his sister would soon see reality and not get deeper into this unfruitful relationship.

That night, as the city lights began to glow.

Hartswell Manor.

"Caden, you’re back!"

Vivian stood up from the couch with her belly full.

Caden hurriedly put the things in his hands on the coffee table, then walked over with a nervous expression to help Vivian back onto the couch.

"Vivian, you need to be careful now, don’t get too agitated, just sit quietly."

Vivian obediently sat back on the couch and glanced up at Caden’s nervous face, lightly humming with a smile, "It’s not that exaggerated."

"You’re in your late pregnancy now, you need to be cautious about everything. The due date is approaching, and I’m always on edge, worried."

Saying this, Caden squatted down and gently stroked Vivian’s pregnant belly.

Vivian looked warmly at Caden, her eyes full of laughter, "You, don’t be so nervous, the baby will be fine."

Caden lifted his head, his eyes filled with tenderness. "How can I not be nervous? You and the baby are my treasures."

They quietly enjoyed this warm mont, the air thick with the scent of happiness.

Caden gently leaned against Vivian’s belly, as if listening for the baby’s movents.

"Vivian, who do you think the baby will look like?" Caden asked softly.

Vivian smiled and said, "No matter who the baby looks like, they will be our treasure."

Caden held Vivian’s hand, placing it against his cheek, full of affection. "As long as both of you are safe and sound, I’m content."

In a high-end restaurant, Yvonne and Yara York raised their glasses, smiling gratefully at Silas Everett across from them.

"President Everett, thank you for helping the York Family through this crisis."

Silas smiled nonchalantly, lifted his glass, gave a faint smile, and drank it all in one go.

"I never thought President Everett would co to our aid at this ti—it truly was a tily help for our family!" Yara looked at Silas with admiration, even a bit smitten.

This Silas Everett wasn’t just handso, he was also so young, yet he didn’t lose at all to Caden Hawthorne.

She couldn’t understand why her sister took a liking to Caden Hawthorne.

But speaking of which, the last ti she saw Silas was at the charity auction gala. At that ti, she was busy targeting Vivian and didn’t even get a chance to properly admire Silas.

The more Yara looked at him now, the more she found Silas charming.

Silas gently put down his glass, a slight smile at the corner of his mouth, "You’re too kind, Miss York. I only see great potential in collaborating with the York Family; it’s a win-win situation."

Yvonne slightly nodded, a glimr of shrewdness in her eyes.

"President Everett is right. Our York Family will certainly cooperate with Everett Group wholeheartedly for mutual developnt."

Yara looked at Silas, a wave of curiosity rising in her heart.

"President Everett, I’ve heard that you just arrived in Aethelgard not long ago and have already made quite a splash in the business world—impressive indeed."

Silas smiled calmly, "You’ve praised too much, I just did what I had to do."

They continued their conversation while enjoying dinner.

Yara occasionally stole glances at Silas, feeling more and more attracted to him.

anwhile, Silas maintained his calm and grace, making it difficult for others to discern his thoughts.

The next day.

Caden arranged a eting with Zachary, and both of them dressed in workout clothes, headed to the gym.

"Tell , Eldest Young Master Hawthorne, did you ask out just to work out with you?"

Zachary stepped off the treadmill, too tired to speak, collapsed onto the floor, panting heavily.

"What else did you expect?" Caden, also sweaty from the workout, proactively handed him a bottle of water.

Zachary sat up, opened the bottle cap, and took a big swig of water.

"What have you been up to lately?" Caden asked casually, sitting beside him, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Ah! What else can it be? My family is pushing into blind dates!" Zachary sighed, looking helpless.

"Blind dates?" Hearing this, Caden frowned, "Why? Is the playboy going to start settling down and get married?"

"No choice, I’m my parents’ only son, they’re eager for grandchildren, and they insist on setting up on dates." Zachary shrugged his shoulders, looking helpless. "You have no idea, I’ve already had almost ten blind dates this week, and none of them clicked."

Caden raised an eyebrow, teasingly, "You’ve got high standards. But again, with your qualifications, it’s only right to choose carefully."

Zachary rolled his eyes at Caden, "Stop mocking . I’m not being choosy, I just haven’t t the right person."

Caden laughed, "So, tell , what kind of person are you looking for?"

Zachary thought for a mont and said, "Actually, I don’t know either, it’s just the feeling that’s important. It has to be soone who makes my heart skip a beat."

Caden nodded thoughtfully, "That feeling isn’t easy to co by. But speaking of which, didn’t you consider the people around you?"

Zachary looked at Caden puzzled, "The people around ? Who?"

Caden looked at Zachary’s bewildered expression and silently sighed, wondering if he genuinely didn’t know or was just pretending to be ignorant.

"Haven’t you noticed that there’s soone around you who quietly likes you?"
