He slowly floated in the air, a blood-red energy circulating around his body. Then, under the gaze of everyone present, that energy transford into an exquisite tailcoat that draped perfectly over his fra!

His narrow eyes swept over his surroundings, and a teasing smirk appeared on his lips. "Why do I see slaves standing beside you? Could it be that you actually granted them status?"

His mocking words echoed in everyone's ears. "Letting the black slaves who pick cotton and waterlons beco citizens of Arica, is this your grand plan? Abraham Lincoln?"

Hearing this, the temporarily elected commander, Karyl Adams, stepped forward and loudly demanded, "Monster, are you the one who just murdered all those elders?"

Black people were the pinnacle of political correctness in this country, so he obviously could not entertain that topic. Changing the subject directly was the best course of action.

The pale man nodded slightly at the question. "Yes, it was ! It has been a long ti since I last saw such dark souls, and to think there are so many of them here now... How truly delicious!"

"I will absolutely savor the food you have delivered to !"

As he spoke, he casually waved his hand at the empty air.

In the next second, to the sheer astonishnt of the onlookers, the corpses resting peacefully inside the surrounding vehicles transford into rushing streams of blood. The torrents shattered the steel plates of the cars, streaked through the crowd, and converged right in front of the monster.

Dressed in his tailcoat, he perford an exceptionally elegant, aristocratic bow toward the crowd and said with a beaming smile, "Thank you for the fresh blood you have offered. I am going to dig in!"

He opened his mouth, and the crimson torrent flowed right in. Under the utterly horrified gazes of the crowd, he completely devoured the blood of dozens of elders.

This brazen and unrestrained act instantly enraged everyone present!

He was openly mocking them to their faces, blatantly treating their families as re food. To these old money families who had maintained their pride for centuries, this was completely unacceptable!

It was a public slap in the face, the most outrageous provocation imaginable!

To them, reputation and face were far more important than anything else!

Therefore, Karyl Adams imdiately issued an order, commanding the bodyguards and military personnel of the guard to open fire.

During the ti the blood cocoon had been active, they had already completed their tactical deploynt. As a result, everyone was positioned in relatively safe areas, with only the combat personnel surrounding the monster!

"Bang!" The first gunshot served as the command to fire.

A dense, deafening barrage of gunfire erupted in everyone's ears, causing many to instinctively cover their ears, including Baron and his group.

However, they were far enough away that they could still barely make out the battle scene.

The vampire clearly had no intention of dodging. He rely watched the incoming bullets with cold indifference, as if he could not care less.

When the bullets finally reached him, the crowd quickly understood the source of his confidence.

Two massive bat wings unfurled, sweeping through the air around his body.

Whether it was ammunition from rifles or machine guns, none of the bullets could pierce his wings, and naturally, none could touch his true body.

But just as the vampire was calmly playing his little ga of blocking bullets, soone in the crowd pulled out a silver bullet, loaded it into their chamber, and fired it directly at the monster!

"Bang!" Even amidst the hail of gunfire, the trajectory and impact of this bullet were exceptionally distinct. It tore straight through his bat wings and struck his body!

"A hit!" A hint of joy appeared on Karyl's face!

They had not co entirely unprepared. In fact, after learning of those hidden histories, they had combed through wilderness legends and ancient fables to find the very things that countered vampires.

Garlic, the cross, and silver weapons and bullets—Owen McDowell's diary had also previously ntioned the incident where Lincoln arrived bearing silver-plated bullets.

Because of this, these people had used 3D printing technology to quickly manufacture a batch of silver bullets to combat any potential crises.

Now, it proved to be effective indeed. These bullets could pierce the enemy's defenses and directly damage the vampire's body!

No orders were even needed. Upon realizing that such attacks worked, many others imdiately swapped to their silver bullets and sprayed fire at the vampire.

Silver bullets were truly effective. After a concentrated volley, the vampire's wings were utterly shredded, and his body began an unstoppable plumt toward the ground. This thrilled many of the onlookers. It was exactly as they had hypothesized: the monsters that seed invincible to ancient people were clearly no match for the firepower of modern weaponry.

"Send a squad over to capture him! I want him alive!" Karyl ordered imdiately, his heart brimming with anticipation and greed.

This was a vampire, a creature of myth! It had survived for over a century with nothing but a heart remaining, and it only needed the flesh and blood of two people to fully resurrect. What kind of terrifying power was that?

If they could capture him, wouldn't they also be able to obtain a twisted form of immortality?

"Tsk... How boring. I am done playing with you," a lazy voice suddenly echoed in their ears.

The people watching from a distance saw that the vampire, who had been plumting toward the earth, miraculously soared back into the air the very mont he was about to hit the ground!

His bat wings, fully regenerated at so unknown point, stretched out wide in the sky, whipping up what looked like a storm of blood-red wind.

The bullets that had been racing toward him gradually slowed to a halt in midair, dropping to the ground one by one.

"I am Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia!"

"I am the progenitor of the Southern Vampires!"

"My mother is Lilith!"

"My existence is the will of Cain!"

"No one can kill ! Not Lincoln, not Pius IX, not Rauscher, and certainly not you!"

"Humanity truly deteriorates with every passing generation. Back then, you still possessed holy water, knights, vampire hunters, and a group of pastors... But now, look at your pitiful weapons! You actually think you can harm with silver bullets devoid of the Holy Light's blessing?"

"Could it be that the blood of those black slaves entered your veins and made you just as stupid as they are? Is that it?"

Vlad III's words were laced with contempt and ridicule, yet the colossal pressure radiating from him slamd into everyone's faces like a terrifying storm!

"Open fire!" soone could not help but scream. Countless people pulled their triggers, sending a storm of lead surging toward the vampire.

But this ti, their attacks were utterly useless. A blood-red barrier materialized before him, repelling the silver bullets that had proven so effective just monts ago.

Just by hovering there in the sky, this vampire caused stark terror to fill the eyes of countless people.

Bullets could no longer deal any damage to him. Whether it was from devastatingly powerful anti-materiel sniper rifles or machine guns capable of piercing two layers of brick walls, every projectile ca to a dead halt in front of him.

To their despair, these people realized that even the combined firepower of an entire battalion could not kill this monster. They could only watch him flaunt his dominance in the sky.

In the next second, he swung his arm. A bloody blade sliced through the air, and over two hundred people collapsed to the ground, clutching their throats.

Their windpipes had been slit wide open, blood gushing from the fatal wounds. It was obvious they were not going to survive.

The crowd was shocked to discover that every single person who had just been killed was black.

"Forr slaves do not deserve to stand on the sa soil as !" Vlad III declared. "I wonder if my old plantation can still purchase these black slaves to pick cotton for ?"

It seed he had been a slave owner centuries ago and was still reminiscing about his past life.

Soon, Vlad III snapped out of his mories. His arrogant, unrestrained gaze lingered on everyone present as his furious voice echoed with unparalleled piercing power:

"Co, tell ! Who wishes to beco an immortal vampire?"

"Who wishes to beco my kin? I am offering you the chance to fulfill your greatest desires!"

"Death does not claim the vampire race! Immortality belongs to us!"

"Offer up your true nas, receive my embrace, and you shall gain eternal life in this world!"

"Pledge your absolute loyalty to the great vampire progenitor, humans!"

From his arrogant deterrence to his terrifying slaughter, and finally his attempt to sway their minds—one had to admit that this entity truly possessed the charisma and capability of a king. He was no brainless brute who rely relied on brute force!
