"Spending a little to achieve a lot, now that is a masterpiece!" Bai Yang could not stop smiling.
He knew that generating hype through Great Britain would bring the most traffic! In this world, apart from Arica, no other country could generate more attention than Great Britain!
Sure enough, in this feast of publicity, he reaped a massive amount of Wish Power, along with an even larger batch of new believers that erged alongside it.
Great Britain's influence was simply too exaggerated. The resentnt of those people alone brought a terrifying surge in Wish Power.
With the death of every noble, enthusiastic Irish people would pop up to educate the public about the historical atrocities committed by their ancestors.
In the comnt sections of every funeral video, immigrants could be found cheering loudly. He could only say that using Great Britain was far too convenient; this kind of hatred was practically engraved into their very bones.
That vigorous surge of Wish Power gave Bai Yang a renewed understanding of this energy. 'So hatred can also be a source of power for deities!'
"Yes, Your Crown. Otherwise, how could Hell and the Abyss contend with the True Gods? They all have their sources of power!" Alvin nodded, then handed the item in his grasp to Bai Yang. "Your Crown, the Wish Power we have collected is enough to cover a portion of the expenses. As your plan unfolds, we should see another massive influx of Wish Power soon!"
Bai Yang accepted the object. It was a seed, a very special one. "A seed of the Tree of Life!"
This was Bai Yang's idea. He had Alvin visit the neighboring Yggdrasil to borrow a branch, which was then transford into this seed.
In the Celtic myth of world creation, the oak was revered as the most sacred Tree of Life, symbolizing the principles of harmony and balance.
This was not the World Tree from Norse Mythology, but rather the entity hailed in Druidic culture as the lord of natural elents and the ultimate master of the four fundantal elents.
Here, Bai Yang intended to use this tree as the anchor point for the Celtic Pantheon!
A mythology required an anchor. Only with one could he truly control this divine pantheon and use it as a crucial node for future mythological ascensions.
Christianity had the Divine Fla, Norse Mythology had the world containing the World Tree, the Arican Pantheon had the Sun, and Buddhism was unique with its specific Buddhist faith. As for Celtic Mythology, its anchor was naturally the Tree of Life!
"Perhaps, it isn't just the Tree of Life, but rather... the Tree of Life combined with Druidic culture!"
Bai Yang had thoroughly studied Welsh mythology, so he understood why an old mage like rlin sohow surpassed certain deities in both mythological importance and widespread popularity!
It was because the importance of Druids eclipsed even the witches of Norse Mythology!
As previously ntioned, the witches in Norse Mythology were beings capable of interacting with the gods on equal footing, all because they controlled sothing very special: prophecy.
In Celtic Mythology, however, the Druidic Order served as the official church of the Celtic deities. Furthermore, their power ca not only from the deities themselves but also from the elents!
The elents, or nature itself, were what the Druids worshipped. It was an existence equal to the power of the deities.
Through their worship of nature, the Druids gained control over elental forces like earth, the sky, water, and fire. Even their Cycle of Life represented the Tree of Life's dominion over the four elents.
In the deeper layers of the mythology, these Druids could even use the elents to shape the sun, moon, and stars, and mold the very earth beneath their feet. This point was crucial. It ant that the ultimate master of the elents was the tree itself—and by extension, the Druids—rather than the gods.
"Therefore, rlin could choose a king without the gods having any room to object. It truly is a rather bizarre relationship between deity and believer!" Bai Yang remarked as he tossed the seed into the void, planting it on a planet across the cosmos.
"Let the Tree of Life transform another world. I wonder which will be faster—this, or the Sun of the Arican Pantheon?"
Alvin rubbed his forehead from the sidelines, advising, "Your Crown, by opening up yet another world, our Wish Power will not be enough!"
"Do not worry, Alvin! This world has no set divine rules yet, nor has it officially started the process of generating Divine Power. I will only initiate the transformation after they select a king. This is rely a preliminary step!"
Bai Yang had thought this through perfectly. Once that "King of Britain" was selected, they would inevitably beco the focal point of Wish Power for the entire Commonwealth. The continuous stream of faith would turn them into yet another source of Wish Power under Bai Yang's command.
When that ti ca, the world housing the Tree of Life could be fully shaped using that newly acquired Wish Power.
"That would work..." Alvin nodded slightly. As Bai Yang's chief steward, he had indeed been extrely troubled lately. Although the future looked bright, the consumption of Wish Power during this period was genuinely colossal. Maintaining so many divine pantheons, even if they were newly established, required a staggering, almost exaggerated amount of Wish Power!
Bai Yang understood Alvin's concerns and casually added, "It seems we really need to initiate the process of universal Transcendence for all people. Otherwise, this ager amount of Wish Power simply will not be enough!"
For a single deity or even an entire divine pantheon, the amount of Wish Power currently in Bai Yang's hands could be considered an absolute ocean.
But for the grand worldview he was currently weaving, this Wish Power was naturally far from sufficient.
Therefore, besides expanding his collection radius, the best solution was to elevate the quality of the Wish Power contributors. This was the exact "universal Transcendence" initiative Bai Yang had been proposing.
In Japan, he had utilized ghosts, Yokai, and Onmyoji to guide the nation into its current fractured and crumbling state, successfully securing a constantly growing base of Wish Power in the process.
If ordinary locals wanted to survive, they had only one choice: to coexist with the Transcendent.
They either followed the paths of the Onmyoji and samurai, or they lived alongside Yokai and Ghosts, offering sacrifices to them in exchange for their strength. Naturally, a fraction of the population could also gain certain abilities through large-scale sacrifices to the deities, but that was a different story entirely.
Yet, regardless of how they obtained their power, within that ghost-infested domain, this was already the optimal thod of survival.
In modern Japan, coexisting with ghosts was the mainstream. While tirelessly indulging in this, they even used these Transcendent powers to exploit Arica. One had to admit, the Japanese truly knew how to play a twisted ga!
This version of Japan provided the lion's share of the Extraordinary Vow Power in Bai Yang's hands. The vast majority of Wish Power infused with Transcendent attributes ca from this very nation.
Of course, Arica was currently showing signs of catching up. After all, praying to a demon offered far too high of a return on investnt.
Those Aricans acted without any regard for the consequences. To exact revenge on their enemies, they would embrace the most absolute madness, directly gambling their entire lives in exchange for a single demonic intervention!
Thus, Arica truly brought this upon itself. The result of their Extraordinary Vow Power output was that The Core gained an abundance of brand-new souls.
"Your Crown, is the thod you ntioned for cultivating the Knights of the Round Table considered part of the Transcendent progression?" Alvin asked curiously. "But that thod cannot possibly achieve universal Transcendence, can it?"
Bai Yang nodded. "A knight must abide by the virtues of chivalry, though the standards for a Knight of the Round Table are sowhat broader than those for a Paladin. Naturally, these forces are still insufficient, which is why we continue to need the power of the Druids!"
"Druids control the power of the elents. These elents will serve as the first wave of Transcendent power that many will be able to access. Perhaps we can design an even simpler thod of attaining Transcendent status—for instance, faith in nature!"
"Regardless, the greatest disaster on this land will undoubtedly be the Scourge Legion we created. Why not give them a chance to fight back against the calamity?"
Hearing Bai Yang's words, Alvin had no objections. "Your Crown, do you an to use these undead creatures to force the living population into worshipping nature?"
"Ah, how can you call it forcing?" Bai Yang waved his hand, signaling that Alvin's phrasing was a bit unseemly. "In the land of fairies and gods, disasters are bound to increase. Aside from kings and knights, many ordinary people are inherently destined to co into contact with Transcendent Power!"
"Otherwise, how would the bards ever stand a chance against Cuchulainn? And how would the witches contend with mighty knights?"
"I am doing this to give those ordinary folks hope! Those who can gather Wish Power will earn the favor of nature, leading to the establishnt of the Druidic Order! This is an absolutely indispensable part of Celtic Mythology!"
Having gained absolute dominion over souls, Bai Yang was naturally letting loose more and more. Death was not the end; let the chaos comnce!
