anwhile, under the watchful eyes of the entire world, an unprecedented Pronouncent of Judgnt was unfolding at the Luo City Courthouse!
Seated in the Defendant's Dock was a reticent young man alongside his weeping elderly mother, while the Plaintiff was the Arican Officials.
As for the charges against him, he was accused of having openly "insulted Charlie."
To the outside world, such a justification seed utterly ridiculous. Yet, in this nation, dozens—perhaps hundreds—of people had already been penalized for this very offense!
They lost their jobs, their businesses, and even their futures, all because of reports filed by certain individuals, often without a shred of concrete evidence!
However, the public's gaze was not fixed on these unfortunate souls, but rather on the two distinct factions gathered outside the courthouse.
The first group consisted of personnel from the White House, led by Baron, and mbers of the Special Affairs Processing Bureau. The second group hailed from the Vatican—mbers of the Religious Tribunal led by Nikki.
Initially, Nikki Dio had intended to enter the courtroom to observe the proceedings. However, upon seeing the governnt's Transcendent Beings silently blocking his path in the plaza, he realized that the core of the issue no longer lay within the court walls.
"Cardinal Dio, what should we do?" a mber of the Religious Tribunal asked, looking toward Nikki.
"It is simple. If they want a confrontation, we will give them a confrontation! Let the world know that the strength of The Church has never rested in Supernatural power, but in our faith in The Lord!" Nikki declared loudly.
The individuals who had followed him to this land were all mbers who had received a Precept, making them Transcendent Beings in the traditional sense.
Of course, compared to a true combat unit like the Knights Templar, their combat power was significantly lower. In return, however, their ability to utilize faith and Wish Power was vastly superior!
After all, within the established system, the Religious Tribunal practiced the exact sa set of Precepts as the Inquisition, known collectively as the Purification Precepts of "purification, judgnt, and sin"!
Naturally, differing from the ascetic and penitent Precepts of the Inquisition, the Religious Tribunal appeared far more sacred and radiant, rather than dark and bloody.
If the Knights Templar were the spear of The Church, then they were its scalpel. They possessed almost no direct physical combat power, but when it ca to divine judgnt and purification, no one could surpass them.
Furthermore, owing to their deep study of the Bible and Christian Scriptures, they exuded a profound sense of Compassion and holiness.
They firmly adhered to the dogma: "Christ is the light of the world; whoever follows Him will never walk in darkness."
Even though, aside from Cardinal Nikki, who had been exceptionally promoted to the special identity of Angelic Throne's Sacred Fire Judgnt Authority within this Precept, the rest were rely lower-tier "Vessels of Grace," their collective strength was more than enough!
Thus, they all stood their ground, softly chanting:
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your na.
Your kingdom co, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
In the eyes of the onlookers, as their chanting echoed, tiny flecks of Morning Star radiance began to manifest upon their brows—not blinding, yet brilliantly dazzling.
This radiance was so awe-inspiring that it compelled the surrounding crowd to fall to their knees in hushed prayer.
Even in the Era of the Extraordinary, Supernatural occurrences displayed openly before the masses were exceedingly rare. Therefore, upon witnessing this Divine Miracle, the people could not resist the urge to kneel.
The most absurd sight, of course, was that quite a few people standing behind Baron had also dropped to their knees.
The two-thousand-year legacy of the Christian Faith could not be so easily shattered. Even though they had constantly been bolstering their own courage, the crushing pressure of a millennial religion was enough to strike fear into anyone's heart once it descended upon them.
Thus, they had to make their move. After all, today they represented not themselves, but the national prestige of Arica!
Golden Hair intended to use this spectacle to convey the feeling of having "won." Even if they could not secure an overwhelming victory, they absolutely could not afford to lose in terms of sheer presence!
Consequently, Baron and Austin exchanged a glance and waved their hands. The two squads of Dragon-Blood Warriors flanking them imdiately stepped forward, positioning themselves at the front.
In the very next second, to the astonishnt of the crowd, the bodies of these warriors began their "Dragon Transformation"!
Dragon scales, claws, and tails violently erupted from their flesh. The traits of giant Dragons manifested upon them, transforming them from average soldiers barely over five feet tall into towering, ten-foot-tall Half-Dragons!
These Half-Dragons swiftly hefted their weapons—swords and blades that looked overwhelmingly powerful—exuding a classical, Dominant aesthetic!
"My God!"
"Is this the power of our nation?"
"As expected, even a religious order pales in comparison to the might of the state!"
Many people cried out in shock. As they gazed at these formidable Dragon-Blood Warriors, taking in their gray-black muscles that appeared denser than steel, an imnse wave of pride swelled within them—especially in a nation that fundantally revered "strength"! This was their country's army; was this not the power of their nation?
It turned out that Golden Hair was not just boasting. He truly commanded such a mighty force, and he could genuinely rely on this army to protect the country!
Their Arica had its own Transcendent Beings, while the rest of the world had none! This in itself was a victory!
Speaking of Supernatural power, possessing such an invincible army allowed even the starving addicts in the Slums of Luo City to proudly puff out their chests!
This contrast was quite fascinating, much like military drills between the East and the West. Because the Price of actual combat was far too high, the primary focus was usually deterrence.
The sa principle applied now. Everyone knew the catastrophic consequences of a battle breaking out in such a bustling downtown area. Regardless of who was in the right, it would quickly devolve into an unjustifiable disaster. Therefore, both sides chose to exercise restraint.
However, the mont Nikki laid eyes on the squad of Dragon-Blood Warriors, his brows furrowed.
As the bearer of a bishop-level Precept, a High-ranking mber of the Holy See Council, and holding the identity of Angelic Throne's Sacred Fire Judgnt Authority, he had been granted a declaration by Pope Mario known as the "Thrones' Sacred Fire Judgnt Authority."
In The Church of the past, these words might have rely been a symbolic title, but in the current Church, it was the bestowal of a supernatural Right!
He possessed the special authority known as the "Judgnt of Sin and Heresy." Under the enhancent of this authority, he could see the sheer agony inflicted upon these Dragon-Blood Warriors by the horrific experints they had endured.
"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?" Nikki murmured. As these words left his lips, a brilliant Light blossod before his eyes. A peculiar, ethereal mirror slowly materialized in mid-air, casting its reflection over everyone present.
Many looked up at the mirror, and expressions of sheer terror imdiately washed over their faces. They saw their own sins!
These guilt-ridden individuals glanced around nervously, hoping to see if others could witness their transgressions, only to find that everyone around them seed to be doing the exact sa thing!
In that instant, realization dawned on them—each person looking into the mirror only saw their own sins!
While ordinary people rely saw their misdeeds, the true Sinners collapsed in terror, screaming at the top of their lungs, "Forgive , I have sinned!"
There was no shortage of such individuals present—mostly wealthy elites, High-level Officials, or Gang mbers. anwhile, a larger portion of the crowd, those with minor flaws or unwavering faith, began to weep quietly, engaging in deep introspection and penance!
Just then, Nikki's voice rang out abruptly:
"When the seventh angel of the apocalypse blows the Horns, all Three Luminaries Throne-Holders will jointly forge the Glorious Stairway—"
"This stairway shall be painted with the blood of the Son, built upon the golden words of the Holy Father as its steps, and guarded by the blazing flas of the Holy Spirit as its rails, leading directly to the Lamb's wedding banquet in the new heaven and new earth!"
Beside him, the mbers of the Religious Tribunal echoed his words in unison, fixing their unwavering gazes upon the Dragon-Blood Warriors before them:
"Those in agony shall find relief! Those steeped in sin shall be forsaken! Those harboring a Soul shall judge themselves!"
"The Holy Father watches you from heaven, bidding you to dissolve your suffering and bear the weight of your own sins... Why don't you wake up?"
The mont those words were spoken, Baron, Austin, and the others instantly realized that things had gone horribly, disastrously wrong!
Their Transcendent warriors had largely been forged through excruciating tornt. Now, the opposition was literally offering to absolve their pain. Didn't that an...
Before the horror in their eyes could fully set in, they watched as the Transcendent warriors standing in front of them collapsed to their knees one by one. The power of the dragon's blood coursing through them began to dissipate, replaced by expressions of profound relief and comfort.
"The Lord will bear your pain and shoulder your sins. Such is the compassion of The Lord!" Nikki said softly, his gaze sweeping over the nurous High-level Officials before him.
Thus, the victor of this confrontation beca glaringly obvious. The Church had won a resounding victory!
Moreover, seeds of goodwill toward The Church had likely been planted deep within the hearts of these warriors. It was highly improbable that the governnt could ever win them back in the future!
"Sigh!" Baron let out a heavy breath. He had always known that dealing with The Church wouldn't be this simple. He turned to look at Jose beside him. "Archbishop, we're relying on you now!"
Jose nodded and stepped forward alone. "If this is the extent of their power, handling them shouldn't be too difficult!"
