"Your Grace, their reaction seems a bit excessive. Did we spread too many lies?"

Alvin looked at the nearly all-in Carl before them, feeling things had gone too far.

Could it really be because the telekinetic power they enhanced in Ivan drove this elder mad?

Bai Yang gazed at the madness in the man's eyes and shook his head with a smile. "What if I told you that during this ti, the young man nad Hall has provided three points of faith, while this seemingly fanatical Elder Carl hasn't provided any faith at all?"

Hearing Bai Yang's words, Alvin finally cald down to investigate the matter, revealing an astonished expression.

"He doesn't believe at all? Then what's with this reaction of his?"

Bai Yang had already stepped before Carl by this point. Looking at this man, he could see the light called "ambition" shining in the other's eyes and said with a smile, "Because he's wanted to do this all along, he was just looking for a reason!"

"And Ivan's existence gave him a perfect reason!"

In his eyes, the life of this "Carl" flashed before Bai Yang like a revolving lantern.

Throughout his more than thirty years of life, this man had accomplished a series of things: strengthening tribal power, controlling tribal assets, bribing local officials, and ultimately achieving complete control over this region.

To achieve his goals, he had killed many people, eliminated nurous tribal scum, and suffered severe injuries.

But the fact that he could still stand here now ant his enemies were probably all dead.

And this clearly wasn't the limit of Carl's ambition—he wanted to obtain even more. But as a native Arican, he knew this was fundantally impossible.

Although Aricans might seem confused, when it ca to dostic affairs, they weren't confused at all.

If an Indian tribe truly rose up, no one would agree to it.

Whether white or black people, they wouldn't allow a genuine native Arican to reach high positions—this was their country's foundational positioning.

"Your Grace, should we satisfy him?" Alvin asked. "He's a non-believer. If we give him so power, he might blasphe against the gods!"

"The essence of non-believers is that they haven't suffered losses!" Bai Yang shook his head. "I'll take action to make him a fanatical believer! From then on, he will revere the gods as masters!"

"Co, let's make the situation even more lively. How about we start a divine war?" he said with a smile.

Alvin expressed concern, "That's certainly the fastest way to increase believers and Wish Force, but our current Wish Force isn't sufficient, is it?"

"Then we'll expand our influence but limit the final battle to a proxy war!" Bai Yang said without hesitation.

He looked at the Indian tribe before him. "The battle didn't happen back then, so the descendants now naturally need to pay so price!"

"Your main purpose is..."

"After this battle, all native Aricans across the continent will beco our Wish Force providers!" Bai Yang said. "As for the remaining people, they'll flood into the Catholic Church!"

Turning clouds with one hand and rain with the other, holding the world by the nose and controlling the cycle of life and death—only now did Bai Yang truly feel like a "deity"!

"They won't know that the essence of this war is to provide You with Wish Force!" Alvin said with a smile.

"Hey! Can't say it like that!" Bai Yang raised his hand. "I need to use their Wish Force to accumulate power, to help them resist possible divine threats and their bleak future!"

As for how it becos bleak? Don't worry about that!

Before their eyes, following Carl's command, the tribe's young n boarded vehicles and headed to San Diego's airport.

They were going to gather tribes familiar to them, preparing for a grand summoning!

This gathering would be the largest in history!

...

The news from the Apache tribe quickly found its way to Governor Newland's desk.

He looked at this information with a headache, surrounded by California's top-level controllers who were equally troubled.

"Mr. Newland, perhaps we shouldn't get involved in such matters? After all, the White House hasn't given any response!" Finally, the deputy governor said. "What's most important for us now is still resolving the protest issue!"

They looked out the window—the entire Los Angeles still presented a scene of "rejoicing with the people," with military police and civilians happily mingling together.

Under such circumstances, attempting to handle matters next door seed beyond their capabilities.

"Then let our people handle it for now and wait for the White House specialist to arrive!" Newland made the decision. "At least these native Aricans haven't caused us trouble yet!"

Everyone nodded, smiling with mutual understanding.

In reality, their high-sounding words were nothing but excuses!

The real reason was simply that they didn't want to offend the current Native Aricans.

They were all Aricans. Although they might talk dismissively about these people, they knew perfectly well in their hearts what their ancestors had done to these people's ancestors—the cris were too nurous to record!

If they didn't handle it, they could pretend ignorance. But if they handled it now and truly angered the opposing deities, they would definitely face consequences.

Therefore, they simply pushed this matter onto the White House, or rather, onto the Blond Guy.

Let the other side test the waters first, so regardless of the outco, they could respond appropriately.

The several n exchanged glances and had soone draft a report to send up.

Subsequently, a transfer order from the White House left the comfortably seated Los Angeles FBI division chief in an awkward position!

The FBI naturally didn't belong to the state governnt but to the Departnt of Justice, specifically under the Blond Guy President's team—and core mbers at that.

What others could think of, this old fox naturally could too. But with the Blond Guy's command issued, he had to execute it!

Therefore, he could only gloomily discuss with the bureau staff about who to assign for this matter.

Having this hot potato thrown at him with no way to pass it on naturally made him quite unhappy.

Before long, a man arrived in his boss's office and heard astonishing news!

Looking at the appointnt letter for "Director of the California Special Affairs Processing Division of the Federal Special Service Departnt" before him, Gallo Simmons appeared quite excited!

Having stagnated at his current age and position for so many years, finally getting a chance for advancent—anyone would be excited!

As the most senior FBI agent in California, Gallo never expected such a special appointnt would fall to him.

Actually, according to Newland and others' initial thinking, the best candidate should have been Chief Pierre, who had experienced Lucifer's tornt.

But the other was already over sixty, not only about to retire but also in poor condition after the tornt and fright.

Rather than having an elderly man in the hospital take the position, it was better to choose soone younger and more vigorous!

Thus, they selected Gallo, who had experienced the Vespuchi Town incident and had contact with Father Angus and Martin Delasso, the initial user of the demon god Raum's feather.

If problems truly arose, he could approach Father Angus for help.

The stability-preferring church probably wouldn't stand by watching Native Aricans cause massive disorder.

One could only say that these political players not only had dirty hearts but also saw far enough!

"Sir, what should I do?" Gallo asked curiously as he took the promotion appointnt letter.

"The Apache tribe elder in the San Diego area has issued a special tribal gathering. With all of California already turbulent, we can't afford greater instability. Your first task is to go see what they actually want to do!" the FBI director said with a beaming smile.

"Understood, monitor their actions and prevent them from causing trouble, right? Mission assured!" Gallo said loudly.

This was familiar territory for him—just so simple stability monitoring tasks, good pay with little work, absolutely delightful!

"Your team mbers and executive personnel are all prepared for you. Go now! God bless Arica!" the director said.

"God bless Arica!" Gallo loudly joined in.
