"Alvin, calculate the consumption!" Bai Yang was still standing on the office building next to the church, watching the scene before him.
"Your Grace, sealing the church, disposing of the bodies, and creating the illusion cost one point of Divine Power!" Alvin's voice ca through, "Establishing the illusion and projecting it to the caras cost 500 points of Wish Force, and the entire performance cost 7600 points of Wish Force!"
Bai Yang nodded with satisfaction.
This was truly the model of achieving great things with minimal cost, just like Ivan's terrifying massacre before. Everything these people experienced in the church wasn't real either!
If everything had been designed to be real, it would have required at least 20 points of Divine Power and 50,000 points of Wish Force.
He didn't have that many resources to consu, so constructing an illusory environnt and making everyone actors in this illusion beca the most cost-effective approach.
"Seal the church to reduce Wish Force consumption; deceive everyone to make them follow the plan; create a divine confrontation to make all viewers firmly believe in this performance!"
Bai Yang summarized this design and nodded with great satisfaction, "Excellent, truly excellent!"
"What's the specific gain? Alvin?" he asked again, though he could check himself, hearing it spoken aloud made the harvest feel more substantial!
"Total gain of sixty-five thousand instantaneous Wish Force points, with much more Wish Force in an unstable state that may require ti to beco genuine Faith!"
"No rush, ti is still on our side!" Bai Yang said with a smile, "Convert half of the Wish Force into Divine Power for storage. When we have enough Divine Power, I'll begin establishing Divinity!"
"Your Grace, establishing the Divinity of Lies only requires five points of Divine Power!" Alvin reminded him.
"No rush, no rush..." Bai Yang's expression was profound and calm, "Lies don't align with my foundation!"
Before his eyes, the police had just rushed into the church, taking up defensive positions with their guns.
A new story was beginning, and new Wish Force would continue to generate!
...
"Chief Pierre!" The police chief from outside rushed over, shouting loudly, "Are you all okay?"
He saw Pierre, though now Pierre appeared completely normal only in the face—his body resembled a loose, sagging leather bag, quite abstract.
"I'm fine!" Pierre seed to finally recover from his previous state, feeling his body trembling as all his functional parts groaned in agony.
Although he had beco skin and bones, he wasn't actually dead, having recovered considerably with Angus's help.
He had maintained full consciousness throughout, just unable to move.
When he witnessed the judgnt, he had ntally reviewed every bad deed he'd committed in his life.
Fortunately, the Archangel Gabriel didn't seem to focus his attention on him, allowing him to barely escape punishnt.
But when those white eyes swept over him, he was still too terrified to speak.
Now, watching the gradual arrival of nurous officers, Pierre managed to say weakly, "Secure the scene, locate every survivor, then await orders!"
"No need!" Angus stepped forward, "Garden Church has no one left. Besides temporary workers and volunteers, only one living person remains in the entire church—her!"
Angus pointed at the young woman before him, feeling utterly absurd!
This entire church, up to this point, contained only one clean person—everyone else had t the criteria for judgnt.
What terrible cris had these people committed? He didn't dare imagine!
As a monk taught since childhood by the old priest to be kind, frugal, restrained, and to uphold justice, he couldn't comprehend how such a large church could harbor such things!
"Perhaps this is why I was chosen?" Angus Bennett made his own reflection and judgnt.
Hearing the priest's words, the newly arrived police officer looked curious, "What do you an by that?"
"It ans that among all forty-nine clergy mbers of Garden Church, only one remains alive—everyone else is dead!" Pierre said, "Docunt everything, have the remaining personnel clean up the scene, and await orders from above!"
He had no intention of taking further action now. After witnessing such confrontations between angels and demons, he realized how laughable and trivial human behavior truly was.
Police officers entered in succession, carrying out the bodies one by one, taking photographs and samples of the ashes and "wax" on the ground.
Just then, Caroline clutched her head and slowly regained consciousness.
Angus quickly approached, the cross in his hand emitting a faint white light that improved her condition significantly.
"Ah, Father!" Caroline looked at him, her mories returning as she quickly asked, "What just happened—was it real?"
Angus nodded, "Yes! You're the new nun from the diocese, right? I didn't see you when I visited last year! What's your na?"
"Yes, I'm a nun from Los Angeles, just completed my vows," Caroline said, "I'm Caroline Olson!"
Angus nodded, "Could you show what's on your chest?"
Caroline quickly handed over the crystal hanging before her. The crystal had no visible support yet floated calmly before her chest, appearing quite mystical.
Angus took the crystal and imdiately sensed a special power circulating within it, along with what seed to be sacred commandnts!
"This is..." His eyes widened suddenly as he looked at Caroline with an incredulous expression, "Accept His words as holy! Honor His na as command!"
"These are Commandnts!"
Unlike the naive nun, Angus was a devout believer who could access most sacred texts, allowing him to perceive deeper anings!
Within the nun's crystal, he actually saw things called "Words" and "Commands"—when combined, weren't these precisely "Commandnts"?
According to legend, the supre Lord would bestow Commandnts upon His most devout followers, who would receive divine gifts by observing these Commandnts!
He quickly asked, "Caroline, where did this crystal co from?"
"I found it in the church last week after worship service!" Caroline said urgently, "It was glowing at that ti!"
Angus nodded, returning the crystal to her, "Only the chosen can witness the Lord's Holy Light! Keep it safe—this is an extension of the Lord!"
Hearing this, Caroline nodded blankly, taking the crystal and storing it away.
anwhile, Pierre and others who heard this made no comnt, simply having everyone avoid these two "saints."
Today's events had been too extraordinary—even these seasoned veterans felt like raw recruits.
Angels and demons, previously existing only in words and biblical texts, had now appeared before their very eyes. How could they not be astonished?
The angels' descent brought not blessings but punishnt for sins!
Only now did they truly understand the aning of "divine majesty like prison." While the church claid to be shepherds, before angels, sinful pastors received punishnts far more severe than ordinary people!
As they continued cleaning up the scene, Pierre overheard Caroline's question.
"Father Bennett, I just felt sothing called Commandnts surrounding ... What are Commandnts?"
"Commandnts are the words bestowed and commands issued by the Lord. Those who follow them shall be governed by His decrees, in His na!" Bennett explained.
"I don't understand!" the nun said innocently.
"Let put it this way—do you know the knightly virtues?" Angus changed his approach.
"Yes I do—humility, honesty, compassion, valor, justice, sacrifice, honor, spirituality!" Caroline nodded.
"If you encounter soone who follows these eight virtues, you can baptize them and bestow the Commandnts, granting them the Lord's Words and Commands!" Angus said, "When you possess this ability, you beco a saintess spreading the Lord's glory!"
"Before that, train with ... Garden Church is no more, perhaps this too is the Lord's will!"
