"Crown, what is the point of this?" Alvin asked, staring in profound confusion at Angus, who had lost this portion of his mories following tatron's departure.

He could not comprehend why Bai Yang would perform this so-called "story" in a situation with absolutely no audience, save for the two of them.

Furthermore, these two would completely lose their mories due to the god's departure, leaving behind only fabricated recollections of the giant serpent leaving and the Tsunami vanishing. Didn't that make this entire performance a massive anticlimax?

No matter how he looked at it, the whole endeavor felt utterly aningless!

Listening to Alvin's complaints, Bai Yang chuckled. "You are not the master of the Godhead, so you cannot sense it. In truth, this matter is not only aningful, but its significance is monuntal!"

"Monuntal?" Alvin paused, taken aback.

"Yes, monuntal!" Bai Yang looked down at Angus, who was still unconscious on the rooftop, and then at Alex, who had already started his car and was navigating the streets below. "The path to becoming a God begins with Divine Faith and ends with a Divine Kingdom!"

"There is no need to elaborate on Divine Faith. Aside from Jehovah, the majority of the Divine Faith we currently gather naturally cos from the Mayan Pantheon, or rather, the Arican Indigenous God System!"

"The ignition of divine fire will also erge from within them. Therefore, I had The Core first construct the realm of the dead from Aztec mythology. The realm of the dead, to the nine layers of Hell, to the thirteen heavens, and finally culminating in the Trinity of the Aztec, Mayan, and Incan Divine Kingdoms!"

Alvin remained sowhat perplexed. "That is indeed what should be done. The establishnt of a Divine Kingdom can better shape a deity. But... that still has nothing to do with today's events!"

"Who said it has nothing to do with it? It is imnsely relevant!" Bai Yang replied with a bright smile. "Through the Soul incidents, we clearly learned that the world is not entirely devoid of consciousness. In fact, the world is shifting in response to our own changes!"

"So, at the very end of the ascension ritual, when it cos to Uplifting a Divine Kingdom, where exactly is this 'kingdom' supposed to co from?"

Hearing this, Alvin experienced a Sudden Realization. "In the Dylan Continent, a Divine Kingdom is a gift from the Plane's crystal wall, provided by the world itself. Once those gods complete the path to ascension mandated by the God Above God, they receive this very gift!"

"Yet this world lacks such a chanism, and you do not intend to bestow such a gift yourself?"

Bai Yang nodded. "Of course. The essence of that gift is a complete rewriting of this world's fundantal laws. That is far too distant a goal for us right now!"

"Therefore, I ca up with a much simpler thod, which is to deceive the world itself!"

"Did you not just ask who else besides us knew about this conversation? The world, of course!"

"This dialogue was spoken for the world to hear. The world will now believe that outside its boundaries, there are two distinct Divine Pantheons whose Divine Kingdoms reside elsewhere..."

"If the Wish Power of humanity can be pooled together to forge a God, why can't the Wish Power of the world forge a Divine Kingdom beyond its borders?"

Alvin marveled at Bai Yang's whimsical yet brilliant logic. "But Crown, the world lacks true consciousness. Even if a Divine Kingdom is ford, it might just be a tiny, insubstantial phantom..."

"What is wrong with a phantom? Are the gods we have molded not phantoms themselves? Once a little Wish Power is poured into them, do they not materialize into reality?" Bai Yang countered. "Turning illusions into reality is our specialty to begin with. All we lack is that initial spark of primordial essence!"

"But now, the plan is already in motion. Whether the world takes the bait or not is no longer up to it!"

Gazing at Bai Yang's silhouette, Alvin felt a deep sense of reverence. "You are going to shape an entirely unprecedented era of deities, Crown!"

"Naturally. This is the true profound aning of Lies. When everyone and everything is utterly deceived, who would dare call it a lie?" Bai Yang declared with a beaming smile. "Once we finish all of this, my words will be the ultimate truth, and my actions will beco the absolute law!"

"This is the concept of my voice serving as the law, and my deeds serving as reality!"

...

Far below them, a two-headed snake roughly half a ter long slithered in circles around Alex.

And sitting directly in front of Alex was the newly awakened Angus.

Naturally, both of them had lost their mories of the preceding conversation. Matters rooted so deeply in the divine realm were clearly not ant for mortal ears.

Thus, when Alex had woken up, he found himself inside his car quite so distance away. Following the lingering prompts echoing in his mind, he had driven to this location and found Angus.

"It is an honor to finally et you, Bishop of Destiny, Prophet, and Divine Agent, Mr. Angus!" Alex took the initiative to extend his hand, listing out these distinct titles.

Hearing this, Angus was briefly stunned. Where did those titles co from, and why did he not know about them?

Nevertheless, he reached out and shook Alex's hand. "I am indeed Angus, but where exactly did all these grand titles co from?"

"These are the nas given to you by the higher-ups in New York. I heard the original designation ca directly from the Great Leader!"

Hearing this explanation, a wave of comprehension washed over Angus. If it ca from Golden Hair, then everything made perfect sense. "And you are?" "I am Alex, a journalist, and also a Sacrifice who has inherited the legacy of the Aztec Empire's Yu Shen!" His tanned, reddish skin was undeniably persuasive, drawing a sidelong glance from Angus, especially as he caught sight of the two-headed snake.

"So that ans this two-headed snake is..." Angus trailed off, a question in his eyes.

Alex nodded firmly. "Yes, this two-headed snake is the very sa giant beast from before. Its power has been completely exhausted, and I managed to capture it!"

"It is Yu Shen's pet. It descended to the mortal realm for certain reasons and inadvertently caused this catastrophic disaster. For this, I offer you my deepest apologies!"

Such sincere words left Angus montarily at a loss, entirely unsure of how to respond. At his core, he was a good man, so facing the other party's earnest apology, he was rendered sowhat speechless.

But eventually, his profound sense of responsibility surged back to the forefront of his mind. "Then... does the utter destruction of this city rit nothing more than a simple apology?"

Alex knew exactly what he wanted to hear, but unfortunately, it was not sothing he could provide. "Yes, Bishop Angus. Only an apology remains. However, this apology cos directly from a God!"

"At the very least, a God is willing to apologize. You should consider yourself incredibly fortunate!"

With those parting words, he felt he had fulfilled his Mission, turning around and walking away.

The black snake, Atlas, slithered closely behind him, leaving a powerless and silent Angus lying alone on the rooftop.

He felt utterly powerless because the fierce battle and intense prayers had drained an astronomical amount of energy from his body. The only reason he had managed to stand earlier was due to his formidable willpower; as for his actual physical strength, it had long since evaporated.

The giant serpent's devastating attacks had stripped him of all remaining energy. The only thing he had left was an increasingly focused and resilient spirit!

His thoughts inevitably drifted back to what Alex had just said. That was what truly left him speechless.

When the Tsunami struck the city, even though he had issued advance warnings, even though he had mobilized the Governnt, and even though he had done everything in his power to provide shelter... had he truly managed to save everyone?

Of course not. There were bound to be people who refused to evacuate the city, stubborn faithless individuals lingering on the beaches, and inevitable casualties caused by the chaotic rush of the Governnt's own operations.

Not to ntion the countless ships out at sea. Had they been caught in the outer ripples of the Tsunami shortly after setting sail? Had they capsized and sunk into the abyss?

No one knew.

Furthermore, during the upcoming disaster relief efforts, how many more people would et tragic ends or be permanently separated from their families?

That was even more unknowable.

This was the harsh reality of a natural disaster, a cataclysm that affected countless lives—a tragedy that, once initiated, could never be undone!

Moreover, Alex had been absolutely right about one thing. At least a God would apologize. But what about humans?

Although Angus was a humble small-town Priest, he was not entirely ignorant of the workings of the world. He taught the local children how to navigate the internet, which ant he was quite proficient with it himself.

He had learned a great many things. He knew about the Military Personnel who had self-immolated, he knew about the desperate victims caught in the disasters, he knew about the sheer devastation afflicting this country, and he knew about the even greater suffering endured by the rescue workers on the front lines.

Those true elites in power had orchestrated and enabled countless catastrophes, yet they had never offered a single word of apology.

They had destroyed far more cities, murdered far more innocent people, and deliberately engineered far more disasters—not out of "negligence," but simply out of "necessity."

That twisted sense of necessity was often the most cruel aspect of it all, completely devoid of any basic human empathy, leaving behind nothing but the coldest, most callous calculations of profit.

"Heh... a God will apologize, but humanity will not! The Lord will shoulder the Sin of mankind, but mankind will not!"

Angus lay back down on the cold rooftop. Gazing up at the clear, boundless sky, he slowly began to pray:

"There is no Righteous person, not even one!"

"I have been crucified on the Cross with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in ."

He deeply felt that this world, perhaps, truly needed to change!
