Letting go of her hand, Mo Yuhan carefully placed the reports on the table next to the hospital bed and turned to her, pulling her up such that their faces were inches apart.
''Morning..'' His voice was deep and husky.
''Mm..'' She stroked his face.
''Thank you...'' He grabbed her hand before pressing a soft kiss on her knuckles, ''..for being there in my life.''
Tang Li buried her face in the crook of his neck.
Later that day, Grandpa Tang, Grandpa Song and Song Tianyu ca over to et Tang Li after Tang Yichen updated them about everything that transpired over the last 24 hours.
The good news of Tang Li's pregnancy was like a music to the old n's ears. But their visiting ti was cut short by Mo Yuhan who protected Tang Li from the over enthusiastic Grandpas like a devil protecting his treasure.
Grumbling bitterly, both of them decided to go shopping for their great grandkid who is on the way.
''When do you think Mo Huizong would co back?" Grandpa Tang's loud voice bood as he stepped out of the hospital room.
''Who knows how long will he keep honeymooning with his wife?" ca Grandpa Song's reply.
''Humph!"
Tang Li laughed as they left.
''Believe they are childish than this at tis,'' Song Tianyu who was sitting on the bed holding Tang Li's hand sighed helplessly.
Tang Li nodded, ''I know.'' How could she forget how her Grandpa used to threaten her with his health so that she would find a man?
''I am happy for you, Princess,'' Song Tianyu pressed a kiss on the back of her hand.
Tang Li smiled, leaning back on the headrest of the bed.
Mo Yuhan who was standing beside them, raised his head from his phone, ''Aren't you happy for , Dad?"
Song Tianyu's lips twitched. This shaless, overbearing and pushy man!! ''Of course I am happy for you son,'' He spoke through gritted teeth. In the end, this man is his daughter's love father of his grandchild.
The corner of Mo Yuhan's lips tugged up.
''How is Uncle?' Tang Li asked.
''He is quite disturbed after knowing about Mo Yi's truth. After all, he firmly believed all this ti that his sister was innocent...'' Even though he was not her biological sister, but he grew up with her for decades.
Song Tianyu could feel his blood boiling just at the thought of Mo Yi. There were trust issues between Tang ili and him but things could have turned out better if there was no interference from external source. He want to rip that woman off with his bare hands..
Mo Yuhan cleared her throat and Song Tianyu snapped out of his daze. ''Your Uncle will be better soon. Don't worry about him,'' He stood up from the bed.
Tang Li nodded, ''I hope so. Are you going sowhere?"
''To visit your Mom.''
Tang Li smiled, ''Daisies are her favorite.''
''I know,'' Song Tianyu stroked her head.
As she glanced at his retreating back, Tang Li sighed, ''Do you think Grandpa is really unaffected by it?" Her Grandpa knew the truth regarding his daughter's death but she could not see much of expressions on his face neither did he ntioned anything about it.
''Grandpa Tang is not as weak as you assu. He has accepted it since a long ti. Of course, knowing the truth might have affected him but in the end, the news of your pregnancy was more than enough to cheer him up.''
Tang Li nodded, ''What about Dad and Grandma Mo?"
''I have sent soone to update Grandfather and Grandmother about it and Dad has locked himself in his study. He has trusted his brother blindly all this while so it will take him so ti to get over the betrayal and his death...''
''Will he be fine?"
''Mom is there with him,'' Mo Yuhan stroked her head, ''He will be fine.''
Tang Li thought about sothing for a mont before she glanced at Mo Yuhan, ''Help spread the news in the tabloids that I am in a coma...''
Mo Yuhan raised an eyebrow.
In the evening.
Both Lin Shi and Mo Zihan rushed to et Tang Li after seeing the news but unlike what they expected, they got to know sothing else.
''Yesterday when you ran out of office, I was damn worried about you...'' Lin Shi sighed, ''But luckily, everything is fine and a little munchkin is on the way,'' She could barely wait to squish the baby.
Tang Li nodded, ''A lot has happened in a day.''
''When will you be discharged?"
''Tomorrow.''
''I can't believe I am going to be an uncle. Finally, I will not be the youngest one in the family,'' Mo Zihan hugged her as soon as he snapped out of his shock.
''So Dear Soon-to-be Uncle, you should stop wearing yourself out with work...'' Tang Li mumbled looking at his dark circles.
''Well...'' Just as Mo Zihan was about to say sothing, he received a call, ''I'll be back.''
Lin Shi glanced at his back with a weird expression on his face, ''He...looks so depressed.''
''Yes,'' Mo Yuhan replied with a straight face.
Tang Li glanced at both of them for a few seconds before she told them about what happened between Ying Yue and him.
''Why did she leave like this?" Lin Shi frowned knowing that Ying Yue was not the one who would do sothing like this.
''I don't know-''
'Ring Ring'
Tang Li picked up her phone from the bedside table as she glanced at the unknown number. The corner of her lips tugged up as she threw the phone at Lin Shi who imdiately caught it with her fast reflexes.
''What?" Both Lin Shi and Mo Yuhan glanced at her questioningly.
''Answer the call. Pretend to be a nurse and confirm the news by informing the caller that I am in a coma.''
Mo Yuhan was a little enlightened even though he did not know her entire plan.
Lin Shi's mouth hung open, ''I thought dia were making up things but you were the one behind this. What's going on?"
''Just do it before the call disconnects...''
Lin Shi quickly wrapped the hospital blanket around the phone as she answered the call.
