The silence that followed was deadly.
Bibi Dong’s golden eyes returned to the parchnt. Then back to the ssenger report. Her fingers tapped once on the table.
‘Death Spider Emperor. Again? Full innate soul power?’
‘This is not so coincidence.’
She rose from her seat slowly, her purple-black robes flowing like shadowed fire as she moved toward the exit.
“It seems… a visit to the Elder Hall is in order.”
