Location: Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan

Months slipped by quietly, and the seasons changed.

On a bright morning, a young boy walked along a narrow stone path paved between green ridges. The air was fresh, carrying with it the faint fragrance of herbs. The verdant valley where the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan resided was like a secluded paradise, its calm beauty hiding the sharp vigilance of those who guarded it.

Terraced fields climbed up the slopes, filled not with common crops but with dicinal herbs that glimred faintly under the sunlight. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan had inherited not only an extraordinary martial soul, but also an instinctive talent for discovering treasures. Their territory reflected that heritage perfectly, wherever one’s eyes fell, rare herbs and spirit plants could be found growing in abundance.

Chen Dao slowed his steps, taking it all in. Though he had lived here for years, he never tired of this sight.

Today, however, was not just another day. It was his sixth birthday. His heart beat faster with every step, because today he would awaken his martial soul.

Like every child on the Douluo Continent, the day of martial soul awakening marked the first step into the vast world of spirit masters. So beca ordinary soul masters; a rare few, geniuses; and fewer still, those who could leave their nas echoing throughout history. Chen Dao the minimum he will awaken is his family’s inherited Martial Soul Seven killing Sword, but deep inside, he felt an unusual sense of certainty, as if destiny had already chosen sothing for him.

His thoughts drifted back.

He still rembered the day, three years ago, when he had first awakened mories of his past life. At that ti, he was only a three-year-old child struggling to form sentences properly, yet in his mind surged mories of another world, another identity, another life.

“Before my death, I felt that the shopkeeper had scamd into buying that ancient looking sword amulet…”

The mory was still vivid—the dingy shop corner, the old stall owner’s sly smile, and the oddly-shaped amulet pressed into his palm. It had seed worthless then, a scam, a trinket sold under the guise of “containing hidden power.”

But the strangest thing was… after he reincarnated, the sword amulet had followed him.

Whenever Chen Dao concentrated, closing his eyes and sinking into his thoughts, he would find himself standing in a boundless void. There, floating silently, was the sa sword amulet. Its surface glowed faintly with shifting runes, sotis dormant, sotis pulsing as if alive.

He had tested it many tis over the past years. The amulet did nothing, at least, nothing obvious. It did not grant him strength or knowledge. Yet, every ti he looked at it, a strange intuition told him that this object was extraordinary, sothing far beyond the comprehension of an ordinary soul master.

This was the secret he had never shared with anyone—not even his most trusted relative in the entire world, his grandfather, Chen Xin.

No one could know. Not a single hint of this knowledge should ever reach the ears of Yu Ming.

The re thought of that na made his stomach churn with disgust. Outwardly, he had no choice but to smile and act the part of a loyal companion, a confidant, a friend. Yet inwardly, the very presence of Yu Ming felt repulsive to him.

‘That fool… Most of the ti, his words revolve only around the beautiful won scattered across the Douluo Continent. He treats cultivation as a secondary pursuit, as if the heavens themselves will drop strength into his lap.‘

‘He even dared to suggest that I should “fairly compete” with him for won. Compete? With soone who hasn’t even touched the threshold of puberty and already wallows in such filth? Pathetic.’

Chen Dao’s eyes narrowed, his expression hidden beneath the faint smile he carried as a mask.

‘I have already confird it—the Pope of Spirit Hall is still Qian Xunji. Which ans… the so-called ‘protagonist’ Tang San has yet to be born. The tiline is still malleable. The stage has not yet been claid. What I must do now… is plan.’

The thought alone sent a ripple of anticipation through his heart.

His lips curved into a cold smile.

‘ The most precious opportunities—the so-called “cheats”—that the protagonist would have claid are the immortal herbs of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. That place… that single chance… was the cornerstone of everything that ca later. ‘

His pace quickened unconsciously, footsteps echoing against the stone path that led to the towering silhouette of the clan’s main building. Each step carried the weight of his ambition, and yet, only he knew the storm that brewed within his mind.

‘The Ice and Fire Well… guarded by Poison Douluo, hidden in the Sunset Forest. That place is no re garden of herbs—it is a crucible of opportunity.’

The faint murmur of clan disciples in the distance reached his ears, but Chen Dao paid them no mind. To them, he was still the polite, promising youth of the Chen lineage. To himself, however, he was already sothing far greater—soone who knew the story of the future, soone who would bend that story to his will.

The entrance of the main building lood before him, its doors etched with the intricate dragon-patterns of his clan.
