Mr. Fu pondered more and more and felt that there seed to be a truth erging from beneath the surface.

Could it be that the money for Fu Yu’s mother’s nephew to buy a house ca from their family’s savings?

Otherwise, he was well aware of the conditions of Fu Yu’s mother’s family.

Back in the early years, their family was so poor that they couldn’t even afford rice, and even at that ti, her family ca to their ho for help, hoping they could assist them.

It was from that ti on that Mr. Fu knew that Mrs. Fu had been secretly lending a helping hand to her family behind his back.

But honestly speaking, at that ti, their family had just started to get by a little better.

They were not wealthy by today’s standards.

So at first, even though Mrs. Fu was helping her family, she only provided things like rice and flour.

It didn’t involve the family finances, nor did it cause a significant loss. After all, it was her family, and she couldn’t let them starve.

In this regard, Mr. Fu considered himself to be quite sympathetic.

So when he knew Mrs. Fu had been secretly helping her family behind his back all along, he just turned a blind eye to it.

After all, if he put himself in her shoes, if his parents were living so hard, he wouldn’t have the heart to just watch without lending a helping hand.

In a marriage, the couple should understand and empathize with each other.

But unexpectedly, if Mrs. Fu really used up all their savings to support her family, then she was indeed being a bit too foolish.

Mr. Fu simply didn’t dare to think any deeper, because he felt the more he thought about it, the more it seed real.

With so much savings, if it was all spent, he would be utterly speechless.

Thinking about it, over the years, Mrs. Fu’s family has moved from a shabby house to a new one, living quite well.

Even that day when they visited, Mrs. Fu’s family was having braised spare ribs.

In contrast, it was heart-wrenching to think they hadn’t had at for many days themselves.

Mr. Fu thought to himself, after all these years, he must have been blind not to notice a single clue.

The loophole was that big.

Thinking about Mrs. Fu’s brother and sister-in-law, all these years being lazy, how could they have that much money to build a new house, marry off their son, and buy a house in town? They decidedly didn’t have such ans.

If they were relying on Mrs. Fu’s mother, it was even more unrealistic, as her entire family was that poor.

Yet, even with them doing nothing, they were still living well, eating and wearing the best, showing no signs of financial strain at all.

Moreover, over the years, Mrs. Fu’s nephew had been unable to find a wife due to the family’s poverty. Why suddenly did he manage to get married?

The question was right there, but he just didn’t notice. If only he had realized earlier, perhaps Mrs. Fu could have recovered so of the money.

Of course, all of these were just speculations from Mr. Fu, and he wasn’t sure if they were true.

So at this mont, he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, then opened his eyes again, looked at his wife, and said very seriously:

"Dear, our son has sent us money all these years, and it’s all been managed by you. Why don’t you take it out, and let’s count how much savings we have at ho?"

"This way, when we build the house, we can have an idea, reserve so funds for our daughter’s future college expenses. Also reserve so for the house’s renovation costs."

"If there’s any extra money, we can relax a little."

After Mr. Fu finished speaking, he glanced at his second son, giving him a aningful look.

Fu Yu, being so clever, exchanged a glance with his father, and they both saw the problem in each other’s eyes.
