Basically, everyone in town cos to this market to buy vegetables.

Lin Ye spends several hours here every day. It really is exhausting. If they could hire another employee a bit sooner, Lin Ye could get so relief.

Jiang Xin suddenly felt like the salary she was paying Lin Ye might be a little too low. She originally thought that sixty bucks a month was quite a lot, especially since not many people in town could earn that much.

But looking at it now, since her stall earns hundreds every day, she could actually double Lin Ye’s salary.

She needed to co up with a way to give Lin Ye a raise, and it had to be reasonable and fair, so Lin Ye wouldn’t feel embarrassed.

If she opened a store in the future, Jiang Xin might just hire Lin Ye as her store manager.

That way, she could raise Lin Ye’s salary with a clear conscience. And Lin Ye wouldn’t be able to find an excuse to refuse.

Jiang Xin was halfway through her al when Lin Ye finally tidied up all the goods on the stall.

He let out a sigh of relief all of a sudden.

Then he picked up his al and started eating.

At this mont, there weren’t many people in the market, and there were no custors at their stall.

As they ate, they started chatting,

Saying a sentence here and there,

The conversation was mostly about things happening at the stall. Like which custor haggled with him, and how much cheaper he sold the goods. These were things he needed to explain to the boss, after all, if too much money was missing, Jiang Xin would beco suspicious.

It’s better to just speak clearly, since the number of custors to deal with each day is truly overwhelming.

While busy, sotis he might forget how much he discounted a particular transaction.

From the very beginning when they started the stall, Jiang Xin had reminded Lin Ye not to be too rigid in business. Within a reasonable range, if a custor haggles, he could give a small discount.

Even if it’s just to keep a returning custor.

After all, the products on their stall all ca from special sources, and their quality could be counted among the best.

In this era, even the upscale goods sold in the supply and marketing cooperatives or the Departnt Store weren’t as good as the products on their stall.

So, they didn’t need to worry about returning custors at all.

Giving a slight discount also helped them accumulate more custors for their stall.

The two of them chatted, exchanging sentences.

They talked about the morning’s revenue. Today’s business wasn’t bad at all, and a lot of it ca from regulars. After all, they sold consumable goods, and when custors ran out, if they found it useful, they’d naturally co back to buy more.

So, their stall’s business had always been pretty decent, and by just this morning, they had already made nearly two hundred bucks.

Jiang Xin nodded as she listened, and then asked about the recruitnt of new employees:

"How’s the recruitnt of new employees going?"

"I think that with you alone at the stall, it’s really too much work. If possible, having an extra person to help would ease your load a bit."

"So, find a reliable person as soon as you can. Although this isn’t sothing to rush, I still think you’re too exhausted."

Lin Ye nodded right away after hearing this, and said to Jiang Xin, "I’ve already been thinking about candidates. It should be only a matter of days."

"Moreover, since we’re doing business, even if it’s a small venture, when it cos to hiring, we at least need to find soone reliable,"

"I’ll observe for a few more days, and if there’s an appropriate candidate, I’ll bring them over for you to take a look. If you think they’re suitable, we can proceed with having them work for us."

Lin Ye actually felt quite confident about hiring new employees.

After all, for a boss like Jiang Xin, the benefits offered to employees are exceptionally good,
