Jake’s Team

Jake was about to instruct his team to begin felling trees

when Kona raised his hand.

"Captain, wait a minute."

Everyone turned to him, puzzled.

Kona spoke in a low, thoughtful tone. "If everyone starts working at once, they’ll exhaust themselves quickly. We have 15 people, we can split into three teams of five. Two teams can work while one rests or rotates in."

Jake hesitated. "But won’t our contribution points be reduced?"

Kona shook his head. "Captain, it’s a team task. Lord Aaron said we need to fell trees, not that every person must do it. As long as we complete the task, we’ll earn the full 10 contribution points."

Jake’s eyes lit up with realization. "Kona, you’re sharp. But are you sure this won’t affect our points?"

Kona nodded. "I asked around. To redeem the Knight Apprentice Breathing Technique, we need 1,000 points. If we manage our energy and rotate efficiently, we can even fell three trees today, earning 30 points."

Jake grinned. "Alright then. We’ll follow your plan."

Blake’s Team

Donga had been watching Jake’s team closely.

"Blake, you idiot, look at Jake’s team. They’ve split into three groups. Two are working while one rests. Let’s copy them!"

Blake frowned. "Idiot, I’m not taking risks. Lord Aaron said to fell trees, so we’ll split into three teams, but each team will work."

Donga sighed and rubbed his head, but followed orders.

Jumba’s Team

Jumba observed the other teams and saw the logic in their structure.

"Lumbha, form three smaller teams. Let’s start cutting. We’ve got more experience than most, we’ll finish faster."

Humba’s Team

Fumba watched the others and turned to his captain.

"Captain, let’s also form three teams."

Humba scratched his head. "Okay."

Girls’ Teams

Kathy took the lead, choosing a large plot of land for her team.

She studied the size and said, "Sister June, we’ll split into two smaller teams of six. Working under the sun all day will wear us out. I’ll start plowing first. If anyone gets tired, soone from your team can take her place."

June looked concerned, "Captain Kathy, won’t our contribution points be reduced if we rotate like that?"

Kathy shook her head confidently. "It’s a team task. As long as we finish plowing the land, we’ll earn the full points."

June nodded and followed her lead.

Seeing Kathy’s approach, Lilith, Rose, Kilu, and Nilu also adopted the sa tactic for their teams.

At the Temporary Camp

Rumba arrived at the camp and found Lord Aaron seated, reading a book.

He hesitated, but Aaron closed the book and looked up.

"Rumba, did you encounter any problems?"

Rumba thought for a mont. "Lord Aaron, the teams have started forming smaller groups. Should I report them and deduct contribution points?"

Aaron shook his head. "No need. Just keep an eye on anyone who refuses to work, record their nas. Though I doubt that’ll be necessary."

He paused, then added, "As long as the task is completed, their thod doesn’t matter."

"Yes, Lord Aaron," Rumba replied, and respectfully retreated.

Aaron’s Study

Aaron reopened his satchel and pulled out another book.

The first one had contained rituals he couldn’t yet understand, he lacked the knowledge of formation magic required to use it properly.

It described how to sacrifice and summon demons to complete tasks, but for now, he deed it unnecessary.

Instead, he opened a book on herbal lore.

Aaron read:

"Herbs are classified into different types."

- "Mortal-grade herbs are used by ordinary people for basic healing."

- "Magical-grade herbs are infused with magical energy, enhancing their resilience and sotis mutating in rare environnts."

"Magical herbs are divided into tiers. This book includes herbs up to Tier 4. Tier 5 and above are extrely rare, found only in secret realms."

"Tier 1 herbs are basic and easily cultivated. They take 6 months to 1 year to grow and are used for Tier 1 potions."

"Tier 2 herbs require 1 to 5 years. They can be grown in the Wizard World, but must be handled by professionals to preserve their magical properties."

"Tier 3 herbs take 5 to 20 years to mature. They often contain elental properties and require extre environnts to grow."

"Tier 4 herbs need 100 years to produce a single plant.

They consu the mana of their surroundings, making the area barren for other life. These are among the rarest herbs known."

Aaron flipped through the pages, his eyes scanning the wizard book.

"Tier 5 and above herbs are found only in the Secret Realm. Wizards say it is a mysterious domain created by high-tier mages. It appears once every 200 years."

"Those who’ve entered and returned alive describe it as a place full of dangers, but also rich with Tier 5 herbs and even rarer ones, if you’re lucky enough to venture deeper."

"The Secret Realm remains open for one month.

After that, all must return."

Aaron paused, reflecting.

"I’m only at early Tier 4, and I value my life. So I’ve never dared to explore it."

He turned the page.

"Now, I’ll record the herbs I’ve discovered in my lifeti—

from Tier 1 to Tier 4."

Tier 1 Herbs

- Water Root. Found in freshwater bodies. Produces a small white fruit that’s edible. Its roots are used in basic potion crafting.

- Green Green Herb. A hardy plant with strong survival instincts. Known for its ability to purify air and thrive in harsh conditions.

- Gill Plant

Grows underwater. When its leaf is placed in the mouth, it allows the user to breathe underwater for ten minutes. Commonly used in underwater breathing potions.

Aaron finished reading through the Tier 1 herbs, but sothing bothered him.

He flipped back through the pages, searching for any ntion of Green Juice an ingredients for tier 1 potion.

But the book made no reference to it.

Aaron frowned, his expression turning to mild annoyance.

He closed the book with a sigh.

"Strange... not even a ntion," he muttered.

He leaned back in his chair, gazing at the people working.

"I’ll have to ask soone in the Wizard World. There must be more to this than what’s written here."
