"So, what's going on here?" Qing Yang Zi asked.
Zhang Yi Nian then briefed him on what they had encountered in the North Realm, and they suspected it was Fan Tian.

He sighed and took out a voice transmitting jade pendant.

An aroma of herbs filled the room again when Guo He Ru took out another bottle of pills.

Elder Chi also nodded to what Elder Hu said.

When the guards saw Fan Tian, they gave him an awkward looking smile.

"What are you waiting for? Lead to the family head," Fan Tian shouted at the guard.

What he saw next surprised him.
The family head was seated next to soone Fan Tian had not expected to see.
Qing Yang Zi was sipping on his teacup.
Hun Yen Kun, Zhang Yi Nian and Lin Fan were all in the room.
"You.." Fan Tian pointed his finger at Lin Fan.
"Why are you so surprised to see , Elder Fan?" Lin Fan smirked and bowed at Fan Tian.
Different thoughts ran through Fan Tian's mind.
He glanced over at the family head.
But the family head was his old and frail self, seated slumped in his chair.
The Fan Family was ruthless and cunning, but they weren't as powerful as the Qing Feng Sect.
Especially now that Emperor Quan Shi was gone, no one could try and weaken Qing Feng Sect anymore.
On top of that, he had sent out his best assassins and they all died.
It would be stupid for him to openly go against the Qing Feng Sect now.
"I believe you have so explanation to make," Qing Yang Zi said and put down his teacup.
"Sect master, I'm not sure what you are talking about?" Fan Tian shook his hands, and he pretended to be innocent about what Qing Yang Zi was hinting at.
Qing Yang Zi sighed, and he pointed at the entrance to the room.
To Fan Tian's horror, Zhao Ming Ye was standing at the entrance with his flags.
Fan Tian recognized those flags.
They were used for the mory Recall formation array.
"I can explain, Sect Master," Fan Tian turned back and knelt at Qing Yang Zi.
"It is not what it seems! I've been frad by him," He turned and pointed at Lin Fan.
"This man is dangerous! He had tricked into thinking that Guo He Ru was going to murder the Formation Peak Lord with his pills. I had to make sure Guo He Ru wouldn't succeed!"
Fan Tian desperately tried to wiggle his way out of it.
Lin Fan smirked and said, "And how did I do that?"
"You.. You..." Fan Tian was lost for words.
Qing Yang Zi shook his head, turned to the Fan family head and said, "I apologize that we have to show our sect's dirty linen in front of the Fan family."
Cough.
The family head coughed and shook his hand.
