After days of traveling, Lin Fan and the rest of the sect finally arrived back at the sect.
The mission was long and tedious, making the disciples cry out in joy when they saw the familiar grounds.

"We had so close calls, but we are all right. Ho Ming might co over for dinner later," Lin Fan replied as he took a small sip of tea from the teacup.
"Good to hear. Let prepare sothing good for dinner," Ho Jie nodded and got to work.
Lin Fan sat and took stock of what he would have to do next.
After the long battle, he realized that the Blood and Qi Restoration Pills weren't sufficient for him anymore.
He had to find sothing that was much better.
With the thousand contribution points as reward for completing the mission and the gold bars he had now, price wouldn't be an issue.

To stock up, he recalled that there were demonic beasts in the woods near the wooden hut.
It would be best for him to start trying to get more demonic beast cores from there.
When Ho Ming ca over for dinner, he had the sa objective as Lin Fan.
That was to upgrade his cultivation level.
And he might have to go into a short period of intense cultivation to try and improve it.
Lin Fan nodded and patted him on his shoulder and said, "If you need anything, just let know."

The best bet he had to find better recovery pills was with the Alchemy Peak.

Ho Ming shook his head and said, "Unfortunately, not now. I could ask around if you want."
"Great," Lin Fan nodded.

After dinner and when Ho Jie was asleep, Lin Fan woke up and took out the 'Spirit Fold of Myriad Forms' manuscript.
He started reading and tried to learn the techniques written inside.

Initially, he could only make the paper man tilt up from the ground for a split second.

The dexterity and control required compared to his hamrs were much more rigorous.
Lin Fan wasn't soone to give up easily, so he tried over and over again.
After an hour of trying, he was finally able to get the paper man to stand up.
Satisfied with the result he had, he took a rest and started with his cultivation routine.
He could replenish his Qi and increase his cultivation level at the sa ti.
At Level 7 physique, his body could now absorb Qi much better and faster.
When his Qi was fully replenished after half an hour, Lin Fan continued to try again.
Slowly, the paper man could stand up and start to take a step.

He sighed and reluctantly stopped as the sun was rising soon.
With only a few hours left of rest, Lin Fan quickly kept the paper n and tried to get whatever sleep he could.

Lin Fan reported back to the peak yawning and with dark rings under his eyes.
The three new disciples were out on a mission led by Sun Hai, and so there were only Zhang Xi and Zhang Yi Nian around.
Lin Fan then recalled how Sun Hai had also accompanied him on his first ever mission, trying to ensure his safety and guide him along the way.
It was just like yesterday when it happened.
"You're back. Co, have a seat," Zhang Yi Nian said and invited Lin Fan to their breakfast.
Zhang Xi glanced at Lin Fan and was glad he wasn't badly wounded.
She then moved and made space for Lin Fan.
Zhang Yi Nian nodded approvingly when he saw what she did.
Finally, his daughter had grown up and recognized Lin Fan's importance to the future of the Physique Peak, Zhang Yi Nian thought.
"I could join in, I guess," Lin Fan sat down at the empty seat, not knowing what to expect.
