Sima Yun pointed at Sima Quan for shouting back at him earlier.
He couldn't stand it when people like Sima Quan defied him, just like his brother Sima Liang.

Unknown to them, Lin Fan and Sima Liang reached the main building.

He quickly used his Remote Tracker ability, sensing and seeing everything from Sima Quan's viewpoint.
Sensing his doubts about Sima Huang and his anger at Sima Yun.
This was sothing that he could make use of.
Lin Fan took out his Blood and Qi Restoration pills and swallowed one.
The Remote Tracker ability used up much of his energy, and he better prepare for the battles ahead.
He passed Sima Liang the pills and said, "Take one. They are not too far away. We better be prepared."
Sima Liang nodded and took one of the pills.
After they recuperated, Lin Fan and Sima Liang continued and arrived at the main hall.
Both followed the path that Sima Yun and the rest took.
Behind the main hall was an open area, with a well in the middle.
Even though the sun was shining, the area sohow felt cold.
There must be sothing causing it, Lin Fan thought.
They looked around for anything suspicious but couldn't find anything.
The only thing left for them to check was the well.
"Get ready," Lin Fan said to Sima Liang.
They held their weapons in their hands and slowly got closer to the well.
The well glowed blue, and the temperature of the surroundings went down imdiately.
Lin Fan could see his breath turning into white mist when he breathed.
The blue glow suddenly expanded and engulfed Lin Fan and Sima Liang.
Next thing Lin Fan knew was that he could see nothing except a sea of blue.
After a few minutes, his vision ca back.
They were now in a mountain area filled with snow.
In front of him was Sima Quan, Sima Huang, and Sima Yun with their assistants.
They were surrounding a yellow orb in the middle.
No one moved as each of them were on high alert against the other.
"Sima Liang?!"
The sudden appearance of Lin Fan and Sima Liang surprised them.
They'd expected Sima Liang to be out with Lin Fan long ago.
How did he survive for so long and was able to last till the end.

"It's better that we finish off Sima Liang first," Sima Yun suggested.
Sima Quan didn't say anything.
But to their surprise, Sima Huang took out his jade pendant.
Before Sima Huang could destroy his jade pendant, his assistant Ning Na hit his hand, and his jade pendant flew out of his hand.
Lin Fan had used the Decurion Leader ability on Sima Huang.
The jade pendant flew ten ters away from everyone.
Ning Na quickly went after it.
Sima Yun glanced at his assistant, and the assistant went at Sima Huang.

Hu Tuo at the last mont ca to Sima Huang's rescue.
His punch made Sima Yun's assistant, Jian Nu, slide a few ters back.
"Sima Quan, as promised! Here I co to help you!" Lin Fan shouted as he joined in the battle.
When Sima Quan heard what Lin Fan said, he was perturbed.
What the hell was he talking about!
But it was too late.

He took out a spear from his storage artifact and lunged at Sima Quan.
Sima Huang seeing that everyone was busy, took the opportunity and dashed to the yellow orb.

A red rope entangled Sima Huang's leg, and he fell onto the snow.
It was Sima Liang's artifact.
Sima Liang quickly got to the yellow orb and picked it up.
But Ning Na by now had co back after retrieving the jade pendant.
She shot a snake from her sleeve at Sima Liang.
When Lin Fan saw what happened, he threw his curved sword at the snake, slicing it into two.
"Hu Tuo, hang on. I'll be back when I'm done," Lin Fan said and lunged at Ning Na.
Hu Tuo, with his body glowing in a golden aura protecting himself from Jian Nu raining down blows at him was perturbed.
Did Sima Quan really collaborate with Sima Liang? He thought.

Lin Fan's lunge hit Ning Na, but she smirked and opened her mouth.

[Detected soul with malevolent intent incoming!]

Insects flew at Lin Fan's face.
He tried to leap away, but Ning Na held onto his hand.
The next mont, he activated the Primordial Earth Bastion ability.

All the insects turned into bits as they crashed into Lin Fan.
The ensuing acidic liquid, however, did nothing to him.
It only gave out smoke and slowly fizzled out.
"Argh. Physique Cultivator," Ning Na exclaid with disdain when she saw Lin Fan being able to withstand her insects' attack.
Lin Fan just smirked at her and activated his Primordial Qi Claws.
His claws went into Ning Na's forearm.
Her decision to try and hold back Lin Fan proved to be deadly.
Lin Fan pulled back with his hand, clawing all the way from her forearm to her hand.
Shredding the flesh and bones into a mangled ss.
"Argh!" she cried out in pain, and a snake shot out from her hair at Lin Fan's eyes.
Lin Fan leaned back and, making use of the motion, he gave her a frontal kick.
The kick made her tumble on the snow for a few ters.
She stood up, stared at Lin Fan, and chanted in a language he couldn't understand.
White worms ca out of a container on her belt, and they crawled all over her mangled hands.
