This location was used for experints with chanical Demons, hence the segregation system was robust; one could only enter through this door.

"Descent Faction used a backup communication line and has received the alert of the base being attacked. The first batch of reinforcents, consisting mainly of drones and chanical guards, is expected to arrive within ten minutes. The second wave will arrive after thirty minutes, mainly comprising chanical Warriors and Superpower Users."
Lu Heng considered for a mont and asked, "If I block the passage we ca through now, will there be a way to evacuate everyone later?"
The Xavier Matrix replied, "If you go down to level six, there's basically no guaranteed thod of stable evacuation. You'll have to decide for yourself."
"Understood."
After making up his mind, Lu Heng said, "Help intercept the reinforcents; try to delay them until midnight."
The Xavier Matrix agreed, "I'll do my best to intercept the reinforcents, but I can't guarantee stopping them all. If escape becos impossible, you can choose to abandon the chanical units."
He had already guessed what Lu Heng was thinking, so he took the initiative to suggest abandoning the chanical units.

A barrage of bullets ford a steel curtain, pouring down like rain, but upon reaching the doorway, they were shredded by an invisible Rift Barrier.
This Rift Barrier, created by the Rift Slash, left behind Rift Traces that blocked and tore apart any material flying toward it.
Lin Zeyu quickly condensed Source Energy in his palm, creating a "Source Energy Shock Bomb" and threw it into the lab.
Boom!
An intense explosion reverberated inside.
The bullets and lasers fired from inside stalled for a mont.
As the Rift Traces that had blocked the initial wave of attacks slowly faded, Su Muyu activated the Prism Force Field to withstand the following barrage and began to push forward.
The team's chanical Units opened fire with a flurry of sounds, bullets, and laser beams cutting through the air, instantly destroying the frontmost dozen chanical guards.

One by one, chanical guards were sent flying by the City-breaking Charge, smashing against the walls and breaking into pieces.
The rest of the chanical Units followed, continuing to fire from behind Su Muyu's Prism Force Field, suppressing the enemy's firepower.
After the first wave of attack, Lu Heng's side gained the upper hand.
Next, three Commander Level Demons erged from the laboratory with a dozen Demon subordinates rushing forward.
One of them, the Wing Demon Commander, flapping its wings, clad in chanical Battle Armor, wielding a chanical Spear, flew up and hurled a Thunder Spear at Su Muyu.
At that mont, Su Muyu's Prism Force Field had run out.
She imdiately unfolded her Sky Vault Lord Wings, shielding herself in front.
With a thunderous crash, the Thunder Spear collided with the Sky Vault Wings, sending a circle of frenzied thunder around.
Su Muyu's wings protected the chanical Units behind from the Thunder Spear, then she flapped her Energy Wings and flew up, directing the Divine Hawk Eagle to charge forward, blocking the Wing Demon Commander from launching another attack.
She then raised Mia's Crossbow, firing Fla Arrows, joining the Divine Hawk Eagle in the assault on the Wing Demon Commander.
With Lin Zeyu providing sniper cover from behind, it took less than three minutes to bring down the Wing Demon Commander from the air.
On the other side,
Lu Heng burst forth at Extre Speed along the ground, drawing out the Aurora Blade and streaking through the ranks of Demons, each swing bisecting Demons cleanly.
One of the Demon Commanders, a giant worm modified with a tank, was covered in thick armor, resembling a flesh mountain tank.
Lu Heng swung twice, carving two large gashes in the armor, but the armor was too thick, and the giant worm Commander remained unhard.
The giant worm Commander issued an angry shriek and sprayed a large amount of deadly venom, pouring down like raindrops.
Lu Heng's gaze sharpened as he quickly shouted, "Find cover!"
"I've got it!"
Transford into the Black Feather Spirit, Yuan Yaoyao looked at the electronic screen before her, the Light Computer system calculating the optimal combat strategy.
