Dayo shrugged. "You never asked."

The girls laughed softly at that—his delivery was smooth without trying.

"Sorry if I startled you. It’s just... I couldn’t help but let you all act like I don’t understand to get to know you all."

Lian and her friends blushed that they were caught red handed complinting them.

"Ah Dayo you’re so naughty."

Suyin gasped. "You’re the one who sang say sothing with Luna ?

Dayo smiled. "Yes."

"I LOVE that song!" Suyin exclaid. "I didn’t even know what you looked like in real life!"

Evan raised his hand proudly. "Yes, yes—he’s an artist, he’s a swimr, he’s everything. Please, form a line."

They all laughed.

"Why did you stop releasing songs?" Lian asked.

Dayo answered casually, "I took a break after the last album. Needed ti to breathe."

"But you’re back now?" Suyin asked.

"Slowly," Dayo replied.

"Bro, look at that," Evan said, nudging Dayo. "Maybe destiny."

Suyin rolled her eyes dramatically. "Please. Focus on the Olympics."

Then Evan—feeling confident for once—leaned back while still looking at i.

"Speaking of swimming... do you all know Dayo is competing in three events?"

They froze instantly.

"Three?"

"That’s impossible."

"No one does that in freestyle."

Evan grinned. "Oh, it’s possible. My guy here is sothing else. He’s doing 50m, 100m, and 200m."

Suyin stared. "How?"

Dayo shrugged softly. "I just try my best."

"Try?" Lian said. "That’s not ’try.’ That’s insane."

Suyin whispered, "No wonder he looked so fast today..."
