"Damn it, only an idiot would stay in this spooky place..."

Tian Dawei cursed under his breath and walked away from the village alone.

He had no intention of losing his life here. This cursed village, with people dying mysteriously while no one seed to care. The n were all uglier than the next, and the won were all mad, locked in cages.

Tian Dawei had long made up his mind. Today, he would wait on the mountain road all day; he didn’t believe he couldn’t find a single ride.

Once he got out, he would report to the police, then co back with them to demand compensation.

With that thought in mind, Tian Dawei didn’t even realize he was walking deeper into the forest. It wasn’t until he snapped back to reality that he realized he... seed lost.

All around were trees, trees that looked almost identical.

Then, a terrifying thought suddenly crossed his mind.

Could it be... encountering a ghost wall?

Tian Dawei’s eyes widened as he looked around for a path.

Even in broad daylight, he could see the sun through the gaps in the leaves. He didn’t believe he could get lost while following the sun.

With that in mind, Tian Dawei steeled his resolve, fixating on the sun and headed forward.

But the more he walked, the deeper he got into the dense forest, and the darker it beca around him.

"Impossible..."

Tian Dawei muttered in disbelief.

Just then, he suddenly saw a person standing ahead.

He recognized the back; isn’t this one of the passengers?

"Hey? Are you leaving too?"

Hearing the voice, the person turned around. It was Huang Yourong.

Huang Yourong looked at Tian Dawei, who was sweating profusely, and asked in confusion, "What are you doing here?"

Tian Dawei looked at him confused, "Where else would I be? I’m leaving the village!"

"This..." Huang Yourong stared at him in shock, continuing, "Isn’t this the back of the village?"

"What did you say?" Tian Dawei’s eyes widened, looking up at the sun again, "I walked straight from the village entrance, so how did I end up at the back?"

Tian Dawei’s words jolted Huang Yourong. Did Tian Dawei... sohow loop from the village entrance to the back?

"What are you doing here..." Tian Dawei was about to question when suddenly Huang Yourong covered his mouth.

"Shh!"

Huang Yourong held Tian Dawei tightly, whispering, "Quiet, soone’s coming!"

Tian Dawei, though brash, knew enough to nod quickly upon hearing this.

Huang Yourong let him go, cautiously peering ahead.

Under a tree ahead, a man was swinging a hoe, digging at sothing.

Tian Dawei, with his keen eyes, saw clearly; that white thing exposed in the soil was a bone!

"A dead body... there’s a dead body buried there!" Tian Dawei lowered his voice, but it was full of horror.

This village indeed had big problems. What normal village would have soone digging up a corpse in broad daylight?

At that mont, a noise suddenly ca from behind them.

"Who?"

The man wielding the hoe under the tree turned and shouted.

His face was revealed; it was Xiao Bin!

However, Huang Yourong and Tian Dawei were determined not to show themselves. A few breaths later, Xiao Bin seed to realize sothing, shivered all over, and ran off with his hoe.

"Co out!"

Huang Yourong shouted fiercely at a tree not far away.

There was a brief silence in the woods before a few people stepped out from behind the trees.

"Damn it, it’s you guys?"

Tian Dawei cursed angrily at the few people in front of him, "I said I was leaving, but you insisted on dawdling around, saying you wanted to comfort Tong Li. So why are you here now?"

"Master Tian... we never said we weren’t leaving. When we chased after you, all we saw was your back, so... we’ve been following behind you all along," explained Chen Qingshan with a bitter frown on his old face.

It turned out the few people trailing behind Tian Dawei were those passengers.

Huang Yourong also breathed a sigh of relief. Even though he had shouted loudly earlier, he had already prepared to knock Tian Dawei over and escape if necessary.

Everyone seed to let out a breath.

Yet, Huang Yourong suddenly felt sothing was off.

"This place is too strange..." Sun Liang suddenly said, "We... we were clearly heading out of the village, so how did we, after circling around, end up at the back?"

"Weren’t you following ?" Tian Dawei said, "I made the wrong turn, so you made the wrong turn too."

"But..." Sun Liang frowned, his face full of doubt, "your back vanished quickly; once we entered the forest, we couldn’t see you anymore, so we just picked a direction and walked away from the sun."

"What?" Tian Dawei doubted his ears, staring at Sun Liang and the others, "You were walking with your back to the sun?"

"Y-yes..." He Miao, caught by his gaze, hurriedly replied.

"How could it be..." Tian Dawei’s face was full of disbelief.

"What’s wrong?" Huang Yourong urgently asked.

"What’s wrong..." A hint of fear flashed in Tian Dawei’s eyes, "I was walking towards the sun..."

His words left everyone montarily stunned before a collective chill ran through them.

How was this possible?

One walking towards the sun, so walking away, how could they all end up in the sa direction?

The only possible explanation was... a ghost wall!

Huang Yourong suddenly broke out in goosebumps.

Sothing is wrong, this village... it might be impossible to leave!

He suddenly recalled what the village chief’s daughter said.

That sentence... I hope you all can leave...

The eerie atmosphere spread among them, this was no longer just speculation; it was a genuine supernatural phenonon.

What Huang Yourong was thinking now was to hurry back to the village, regroup with everyone, and then... relay this news to Li Mu and the others.

This ghost... had an already established ability.

Ghost wall.

"Let’s go, head back to the village first." Huang Yourong swallowed hard, calming his nerves.

However, his words did not receive any response from the others.

Huang Yourong was startled, and suddenly... a voice spoke.

"This place is too strange..."

"We... we were clearly heading out of the village, so how did we, after circling around, end up at the back?"

Huang Yourong’s pupils suddenly contracted. He turned back, looking at Sun Liang in disbelief.

Sun Liang looked puzzled, seemingly quite confused.

"Weren’t you following ?"

"I made the wrong turn, so you made the wrong turn too."

Tian Dawei spoke again... saying the exact sa words as before.

"But..." Sun Liang frowned, "your back vanished quickly; once we entered the forest, we couldn’t see you anymore, so we just picked a direction and walked away from the sun..."

Sa... they were saying the exact sa thing as before!

"What?"

"You were walking with your back to the sun?"

Tian Dawei’s response was the sa as before.

Huang Yourong backed away a few steps, leaning against a tree, feeling icy cold all over.

His eyes swept over the few people with puzzled expressions, trembling as he spoke, "Why... are you saying the exact sa things as before?"
