"Driver, to Qiujiang Road in Jiangbei."

Xu Zhifei looked at him coldly, saying nothing.
Bai Yanliang seed to sense a chill, glanced at her, and said softly, "Truth be told, I’ve run out of cash... just give a ride."

Xu Zhifei didn’t doubt Bai Yanliang was lying since it was well known how clueless Bai Yanliang was with phones. Once, during a chat in the Fog Gathering group, he sohow popped up a video box, leaving everyone speechless, staring at his bewildered face.
If he claid he couldn’t use mobile paynt, then most likely he genuinely didn’t know how to.
Throughout the ride, the driver occasionally glanced at Bai Yanliang and Xu Zhifei in the rearview mirror. They stared out their respective windows, one gazing left, the other right, making the air between them seem frozen. The driver felt a burden in his chest; the atmosphere was just too eerie.
Yet Bai Yanliang and Xu Zhifei seed unfazed, even... quite comfortable.
Having just napped on the plane, Bai Yanliang was invigorated, contemplating how to retaliate against Dark Abyss while admiring Ye City’s nightscape.
Soon, the car stopped at the intersection, and Bai Yanliang thanked Xu Zhifei before briskly walking towards a mory-laden spot in the alley.

Without stopping, he dashed towards the taxi. In the slightly puzzled eyes of the driver and Xu Zhifei, he yanked open the car door and dived in, stating coldly,
"Drive fast."
