At the center of Holy Grail Island.

Inside a magnificent and opulent castle, in the innermost room, stood a slender, handso man with a head of smooth, golden hair.

The man was surrounded by four won with high-bridged noses and deep-set eyes. Before them was placed a chest inlaid with multiple gemstones.

"Beautiful ladies, such a gorgeous treasure chest complents your beauty perfectly. Does anyone wish to open it with their own hands?"

The man looked at the four won. They all shook their heads.

One of them spoke: "Adam, such a precious chest should be opened by you."

Hearing this, the man nad "Adam" revealed a charming smile: "Since you ladies are so gracious, I shall open it then."

As he spoke, Adam consud a full five keys to open the chest.

A dazzling golden light shone out. Inside were a large amount of valuable supplies, items, and an ancient-looking parchnt scroll.

Adam didn't touch the other items. Instead, he picked up the parchnt scroll and opened it. A line of text was written on it: "I have placed the legendary Holy Grail inside the abandoned church. If you wish to obtain it, go and take it."

"Oh dear." Adam sighed regretfully. "What a sha. It's intel that's already been leaked."

He casually tossed the parchnt scroll aside. One of the won in his team picked it up, and the other three won also looked at the contents.

One of them was shocked: "It seems the secret of the 'Holy Grail' is hidden on this parchnt scroll. Logically, only those who reach the castle at the island's center, enter the deepest room, and open this chest would know... How did that team that got the Holy Grail early know about it?"

"Who knows." Adam shrugged. "Maybe they just got lucky."

The four won exchanged glances. One asked, "Adam, are you really decided on not going to seize the Holy Grail? With your strength, you could definitely succeed."

"You all know , I don't like using violence." Adam gently shook his head. "Besides, I know that fellow Lucifer will definitely go for it. Facing a violent maniac like him, protecting all of you won't be easy."

Hearing this, the four won were moved: "Adam, you don't need to worry about us. Besides, dying on this Holy Grail Island isn't real death, it's just elimination!"

Adam looked at them with pity: "Even if you don't die, the pain of death is real. I don't want you to experience that pain."

"Adam..."

"Shit! Soone actually got here first!" At that mont, a rough, abusive shout ca from the doorway, instantly shattering the tender atmosphere between Adam and the four won.

All four won turned furious gazes toward the entrance. They saw another team crowded at the door, led by a burly man.

"Five chicks?" the burly man sneered. "There's actually a team like this. Hand over the items you got from that gem chest! Otherwise—"

"Kill!"

The four won beside Adam instantly made their move. In the blink of an eye, the burly man was sliced into several pieces. His teammates were horrified and hurriedly tried to counterattack, but they soon t the sa fate.

Adam in the room watched this scene, sighing and shaking his head: "Sigh, when will humanity ever stop all this fighting and killing? Wouldn't it be better if everyone lived peacefully and had more children together..."

...

【Ti until Holy Grail ownership is determined: 23 minutes】

Every team could clearly see this prompt. It appeared once per minute, telling the teams that wanted to seize the Holy Grail exactly how much ti they had left.

Now, following the earlier cha's lead in breaking through from above and destroying the church structure, other teams also started imitating, using their own weapons and items to demolish the church walls.

They believed that this way, the Holy Grail team would have nowhere to hide, would be exposed to public view, and be attacked by everyone.

But the mont the church was completely destroyed, what everyone saw wasn't the Holy Grail team, but a sky full of white fog!

No one could describe how dense that white fog was. It practically blotted out the sky and covered the earth.

Originally, only teams that charged into the church would encounter the white fog. Now that the church was destroyed, Guan Tong stopped pretending. He frantically shot Type 4 smoke grenades and Type 3 high-explosive rounds in all directions.

He had no teammates anyway, so he didn't need to worry about friendly fire. Everyone besides himself was an enemy.

The teams caught in the thick fog were dumbfounded. On one hand, they couldn't see anything; on the other, they might accidentally get blown up by explosions from who-knows-where.

On top of that, they were also under attack by seemingly endless, continuously erging living dead. The sounds of explosions, the roars of the living dead, and the shouts of combatants fighting each other... it all made everyone feel like they were in so kind of hell!

The most critical issue was that the person holding the Holy Grail seed to have blended into the crowd. His position couldn't be pinpointed accurately, causing most teams to fight wildly and chaotically.

Guan Tong, currently covered in Shadow Armor, hid among the crowd using the fog as cover. He continuously summoned living dead, indiscriminately blasted away with his Silver Hunt, and simultaneously pondered how he should enhance this Silver Hunt.

He had just tried adding the two characters for "guidance," wanting to give the Type 3 rounds a homing function. That way, when facing fast-moving enemies like the "Matriarch Converter" again, his hit rate would be higher.

However, after adding the characters, the materialization failed. This indicated his current Mind Power Upper Limit wasn't sufficient to achieve this.

Then he heard a buzzing sound from the sky, and a sudden inspiration struck him!

This inspiration was related to the reconnaissance drones flying chaotically in the sky. These things were troubleso for him. Because he only had one Jamr in his Temporary Backpack, and he had already used it.

So, if he could jam these drones and any other devices that could track or monitor him, it would be a huge help for hiding his movents in the future.

Imdiately, three letters jumped into his mind.

"EMP!"

EMP, or electromagnetic pulse, had extrely strong destructive effects on electronic devices. It was undoubtedly exactly what Guan Tong needed to deal with his drone troubles!

He imdiately added the four characters for "Electromagnetic Pulse" in front of "Smoke-Claw Gun" in the 【Wordless Book】, recalled the Silver Hunt, and then summoned it again.

Thank goodness for the "Infinite Mind Power" buff, otherwise he really wouldn't dare to do this. After all, recalling and resummoning like this would clear all previously stored ammunition—but with the buff active, of course it didn't matter. He could just generate them while firing!

After resummoning the Silver Hunt, Guan Tong noticed the gun body hadn't changed. He selected "Generate Ammunition." Below options 1-4, a new Type 5 round appeared!

Success!

The mont he saw the Type 5 round, Guan Tong imdiately selected to generate it.

He discovered it required a whopping 50 points of Mind Power to generate a single "Electromagnetic Pulse Round." The cost was truly outrageous.

After generating it, he imdiately aid at the sky and pulled the trigger.

"Zzzzt—!"

What shot from the muzzle wasn't a bullet, but a deep blue beam of light!

The beam exploded in the air. On the bodies of drones flying within a certain radius, electrical sparks instantly erupted, and they promptly plumted toward the ground.

"Not bad!"

Although the effective range of this electromagnetic pulse wave wasn't huge—only about a dozen ters in radius—it was already sufficient for him.

At critical monts, he could at least use it to destroy drones, caras, and other monitoring devices, reducing the enemy's ability to track him to so extent.

"That's enough adding characters to the Wordless Book for now."

Guan Tong checked the Holy Grail holding ti. There were still 21 minutes left. He planned to use part of this ti to store Mind Power and Silver Hunt ammunition, but the forr was sothing that required focused, undisturbed concentration to accomplish.

Being in such a chaotic environnt, with his thick Shadow Armor constantly being hit by random item attacks, trying to calm down and complete the conversion was simply impossible.

So...

Guan Tong's eyes changed slightly: "Looks like it's cleanup ti."

If anyone thought the constant barrage of mixed Type 3 high-explosive rounds and Type 4 smoke grenades was cruel enough, they fundantally didn't know what Guan Tong's truly cruel thods were.

For him, his most capable assistant was always "Shadow." And with the buff of "Infinite Mind Power," Shadow could completely create a truly terrifying hellscape.

With a thought from Guan Tong, massive amounts of Mind Power were rapidly and continuously consud, transforming into spiked shadows that spread out from the ground within the fog.

"...Doing this is also for cleanup efficiency. I hope no one gets psychologically scarred by it."

Guan Tong thought, outputting his full Upper Limit of Mind Power per second, causing the nurous spiked shadows to transform into Physical Form!

Instantly, a massive number of spiked shadows materialized. Competitors standing on them were pierced through their bodies completely unprepared, dying and being eliminated amidst pain and indescribable terror!

Those who weren't hit were also terrified. Soone, after seeing their teammate beside them suddenly impaled by several black spikes, was so scared they scread soundlessly and collapsed, their legs giving way.

Guan Tong nad this move "Thorn Shadow Kill Array."

In just those few short seconds, it took the lives of hundreds, even thousands, of competitors within the white fog.

Such a terrifying scene, though obscured by smoke, was still witnessed by many who saw the grueso state of the dead.

The vast majority of surviving competitors instantly broke down. They couldn't take it anymore.

They completely lost the courage to continue fighting. They gave up on seizing the Holy Grail, burying their heads and sprinting madly in one direction, hoping only to escape the fog's range as quickly as possible and end this nightmare.

So succeeded, so failed. But the teams that successfully ran out hadn't had ti to rejoice for long before they discovered a group of over fifty people gathered together, blocking their path.

Leading them was the "alpha wolf" of the Tulip Federation.

To get here as fast as possible, he had demanded the weak contribute all items that could increase movent speed. This allowed this small group of about a dozen teams, roughly fifty people—the "wolf pack team"—to rush to this location in less than ten minutes.

"Eliminate them." Now, with an order from the alpha wolf, the wolf pack team imdiately coordinated their attacks, assaulting the teams that had escaped from the white fog!

This wolf pack team was extrely ferocious, fearless of death, and tightly coordinated. Therefore, even though hundreds of people escaped the fog, facing this elite fifty-man wolf pack team, they were quickly eliminated entirely, with only a scattered few managing to flee.

Soone in the wolf pack team wanted to give chase but was stopped by the alpha wolf. The alpha wolf looked at the vast expanse of white fog not far ahead and said, "That team has held the Holy Grail for too long. We must seize it quickly... Huh?!"

The alpha wolf suddenly seed to sense sothing. He looked up into the sky, his pupils instantly contracting.

High up in the sky, there was actually a person with pitch-black wings growing from their back, hovering in the air! This instantly made him think of a na the Federation's intelligence agency had specifically warned him to be careful of.

"It's the Suroma Empire's Lucifer... He really ca too!"
