"Mr. Liu, please get in the car."

At the entrance of Jule Company building, a well-dressed young driver opened the rear door with a smile, speaking to Liu Yuqiang.

Liu Yuqiang looked at the long black car with completely tinted windows parked before him, his brow furrowing.

The young driver seed to notice Liu Yuqiang's displeasure and explained with a smile, "This is our big boss's requirent. Every attendee must ride in this type of vehicle to reach the gathering location. Please understand, Mr. Liu."

"Understood."

Liu Yuqiang knew that "Big Sister" had always been mysterious and cautious. Now that she was organizing an offline internal gathering for Qingi Society, she would undoubtedly be even more careful.

After he settled into the back seat, the driver closed the door.

Just as Liu Yuqiang had expected, both side windows were covered with special tinting film, and a partition separated the front and rear seats. This ant those sitting in the back couldn't see outside and had no idea where the car was heading.

Although this wasn't fundantally different from putting a black plastic bag over one's head—and using a bag would be simpler and more convenient—this wasn't a kidnapping but a mber eting. They still needed to maintain so dignity for the bosses.

As the car started moving and Liu Yuqiang couldn't see anything anyway, he leaned back against the soft seat backrest, closing his eyes to rest while also speculating about Big Sister's purpose for organizing this gathering.

Before the Doomsday Rules, Qingi Society mbers primarily focused on exchanging and sharing business resources and connections, helping each other secure leading or dominant positions across various comrcial sectors through mutual assistance.

But after entering the era of Doomsday Rules, business had given way to survival. So where should these business titans go from here? Should they struggle desperately like ordinary people? The psychological gap was simply too great.

Previously, Big Sister had ntioned in the group chat that the gathering was to discuss Qingi Society's future plans, so Liu Yuqiang was actually quite looking forward to this eting.

However, from Big Sister not informing mbers of the gathering location but instead sending specialized drivers to pick them up, along with the specially enclosed vehicle design, it showed that Big Sister didn't have complete trust in the mbers. This made Liu Yuqiang sowhat uncomfortable.

He pulled out his phone from his pocket, but it showed no signal.

Was there a signal jamr in the car?

Liu Yuqiang put his phone back in his pocket, his frown deepening even further.

...

Guan Tong sat on the floor mat he'd laid out in the storage room, looking at the three characters for "Mind Power" on the third page of the [Wordless Book]. Instead of imdiately injecting Mind Power, he silently repeated to himself.

"Increase Mind Power upper limit, increase Mind Power upper limit."

Just like when he'd silently thought "scattergun not cold weapon spear" after writing "gun" on the second page previously, he was doing this to make the [Wordless Book] materialize what he truly wanted.

Although this approach seed sowhat mystical and he didn't know if it actually worked, there was no harm in trying.

After silently repeating it several tis to ensure no other thoughts intruded, Guan Tong injected all his remaining 100 points of Mind Power into the page.

The next mont, sothing similar to when he'd written "Ascension Coins" occurred.

The three characters for "Mind Power" quickly detached from the page, twisted and transford into a stream of data.

This data stream then slamd into Guan Tong's forehead before drifting out again, reforming into characters that settled back onto the page.

"Success? Or failure?"

Uncertain, Guan Tong imdiately opened his Personal Terminal to check his panel.

[Na: Guan Tong]

[Nickna: Shadow]

[Title: Order Keeper]

[Mind Power: 0 (126) (10)]

[Ascension Coins: 30]

[Comprehensive Biological Information Evaluation: Excellent]

"...What does this an?"

Guan Tong looked at the Mind Power data on his panel. He knew the "126" in the first bracket represented his upper limit. The newly appeared (10) in the second bracket—what did that represent?

After thinking for a mont, he picked up the "Silver Hunter" beside him and attempted to create a Type 2 Ammunition that required 10 Mind Power.

The electronic screen on the left side of the gun grip imdiately showed the remaining Type 2 Ammunition count increase by one.

Guan Tong also noticed that his panel's Mind Power data had changed to "0 (126) (0)".

"So that's it! The characters on the page didn't increase my Mind Power upper limit after materialization, but were converted into partially storable Mind Power!"

This discovery thrilled Guan Tong. Although injecting 100 points of Mind Power only converted and stored 10 points, from another perspective, this effectively increased his Mind Power capacity.

When he had nothing else to do, he could convert and store more. Even if it took 10 points to store 1 point, his 126 upper limit could store 12 points!

This was similar to stocking ammunition for Silver Hunt—store when not needed, then unleash instantly when required, delivering combat power several tis beyond normal capacity!

"Excellent! With sufficient reserves, I alone can deliver combat power equivalent to multiple people at critical monts."

Guan Tong thought to himself, especially since his "Shadow," while powerful, had the drawback of high consumption.

When Shadow existed in physical form, it consud roughly 1 point of Mind Power per second of existence. With his current 126-point upper limit, Shadow could only maintain physical form for just over two minutes.

Against a single target, two minutes might be enough to determine victory. But facing multiple enemies, two minutes would be far from sufficient.

If he could use pre-stored Mind Power as "backup energy" in such situations, he could significantly extend Shadow's duration, thereby enhancing his own sustained combat capability.

So although this conversion had failed in terms of his original intention to increase his Mind Power upper limit, he was quite satisfied with the actual outco.

"Today is July 24th, one week until the fifth rule is released. My current natural Mind Power recovery rate is about 1 point per 5 minutes, roughly 280 points total natural recovery per 24 hours...

Unlike 'Ascension Coins,' the characters on the page didn't disappear after this conversion. So it's more like Shadow—I can directly inject Mind Power for conversion rather than having to rewrite characters every ti.

Without pursuing maximum conversion efficiency, if I can store just 20 points of reserve Mind Power daily, I'll have 140 points saved up after one week."

Guan Tong felt slightly excited.

After one week, at full capacity he'd have about 126 points of his own Mind Power plus approximately 140 points of reserve Mind Power—totaling over 260 usable Mind Power points!

If all this were supplied to Shadow, it could maintain physical form for nearly five minutes, dramatically improving sustained combat capability. If used to generate ammunition for Silver Hunt, he could create 26 Type 2 rounds or 8 Type 3 rounds!

Rembering the terrifying power of Type 3 high-explosive rounds—one shot enough to destroy a small target point—if he generated 8 rounds at once and fired them all in a volley... Guan Tong didn't believe any enemy at this stage could withstand such an assault, though of course it would be different if enemies had special items.

Thinking of special items, during his rest periods while waiting for Mind Power recovery over recent days, Guan Tong had also opened his Personal Terminal's Market to browse the various listed items.

Of course, he was just window-shopping—with only 30 coins left, he couldn't afford to buy anything even if he wanted to.

But not being able to buy didn't stop him from looking. More browsing ant better understanding, so if he coincidentally encountered sothing in reality later, he'd know what it was.

However, several tis he'd refreshed to find an item with decent effects and reasonably fair pricing, only to have it bought by soone else before he could examine it thoroughly. After this happened repeatedly, he realized many people were constantly monitoring the market to snap up goods.

But as the saying goes, snakes have snake paths, rats have rat paths.

While those organizations and groups could rapidly strengthen individuals through resource concentration, Guan Tong had his own thods.

He felt that with his combination of being able to see Hidden Rules

the Wordless Book, his developnt pace might not necessarily be slower than theirs.

Of course, he'd also considered that with his uniquely advantageous conditions, if he could additionally receive substantial resource investnt from a powerful organization, the combined effect would make his developnt speed terrifyingly fast—but this was just a thought.

Perhaps related to his personality, Guan Tong always felt a vague sense of insecurity, unwilling to rely on others. So he'd rather progress more slowly than easily join so unfamiliar group.

Guan Tong quickly reined in his thoughts, focusing on the present: "I should stop overthinking. For the coming week, I'll steadily store so reserve Mind Power, then maintain full readiness to welco the release of the fifth Doomsday Rule."
