“Does it really hurt?” Alexander asked again.
Purple nodded her head.
Alexander sighed, rolled onto his back, and let Purple rest on his chest. His large hand soothingly stroked her hair, all desire fading away.
The dense, cool silkiness of her hair felt like water in his hands, and he couldn’t help but lift a lock to gently kiss it.
“I have to make a trip to Pearlpoint City in a few days. I might have to stay there for a while,” said Alexander, “Will you be okay living here by yourself?”
The outside world only knew that Alexander Sumrs had taken over Roy Howard’s entire business portfolio.
