Normally, questioning should proceed in a cross manner; for instance, the person now in the witness stand, Noelle Nichols, needed to be questioned by both the prosecution and the defense, unless one side waived their right to question.
But Austin Ross skipped over Noelle Nichols and chose Henry Jason, who had already spoken.
The judge reminded Austin Ross, “Lawyer, Mr. Jason has already been questioned by the prosecution, and you waived your right to question him at that ti.”
