Chapter 784: Chapter 784: Returning Your Reward_1
Purple Sumrs wanted to go partly out of curiosity about Nathaniel Sumrs and partly because she was so infatuated with Alexander Sumrs.
The two of them stuck together every day, and when the passion was intense, not even a second apart could be borne.
Fortunately, there was no one else on the mountain; otherwise, they would probably gross everyone out.
…Co to think of it, if there really had been others around, Purple Sumrs surely wouldn’t have been so clingy.
Dylan Sumrs’ invitation ca at just the right ti, too, as Alexander Sumrs happened to have so free ti recently; otherwise, he might have stood them up for such an invitation.
The winter sky was high and vast, a cloudless azure blue.
...
Alexander and Purple were held up on the road for a while and arrived at the restaurant already late.
He parked the car outside the restaurant and, before getting out, kissed Purple, saying, “I’ll be out in no ti.”
Alexander didn’t plan to have a lengthy discussion with them. The main purpose of accepting the invite was to clarify the moving situation and also to keep Atra Blanc from always feeling sothing was amiss.
Purple liked this kind of outing.
No need to hide, no bodyguards or attendants around; as long as Alexander wasn’t Roy Howard, they didn’t have to worry about guns suddenly appearing and turning them into sieves.
Once they moved to Pearlpoint City, and Alexander beca a respectable businessman, away from killing and sches, they would be very happy.
——A woman in love always has a naive side, willing to think the best of everything.
Bored in the car, Purple stretched out her hand to rummage through the car’s storage box and found a pack of five-spice lon seeds. She spread a paper towel on her knee and leisurely started eating the seeds.
Her phone screen suddenly lit up; it was a ssage from Alexander.
Eating the seeds, Purple couldn’t help but laugh.
This guy’s attitude was really too casual; to be inside discussing matters and yet still finding ti to text her.
Purple couldn’t help but smile and ssaged him back asking how the discussion was going.
Alexander replied that it was very tedious. Dylan was still rambling on, having probably just finished his first point.
Purple could picture the scene, chuckling to herself in the car.
She then ssaged him to ask whether the food was tasty, saying she was hungry and eating seeds to satiate herself.
After waiting a while without any more ssages from Alexander, Purple wondered if he had been caught playing with his phone by the director-general. She looked up and saw Alexander appearing at the restaurant entrance.
He was carrying a takeout bag, striding forward with his long legs and in a few steps, reached the car and sat inside.
Purple was stunned, “Are you done?”
That was fast.
“Listening to his sermon for a while, there was actually not much to discuss. We’re definitely moving out, and as for what they tell others, they can spin it however they like,” Alexander said nonchalantly, taking out a takeout box from the bag, “Try this, this dish isn’t too bad.”
As soon as the food container opened, the aroma of grilled at wafted through the air, with spices that tantalized the appetite, along with toothpicks for eating it.
Alexander added, “I ordered this dish separately; they haven’t touched it.”
Purple chuckled and kissed Alexander on the cheek, “Mm, this is for you.”
“That reward has no sincerity. I don’t want it,” Alexander said with disdain, then added, “Reward goes back to you.”
As he said it, he leaned in to kiss her.
Purple laughed and dodged, then shoved a piece of grilled beef into his mouth with a toothpick.
While the two of them were fooling around in the car, Dylan and Nathaniel among others, walked out of the restaurant.
Nathaniel seed to sense sothing, glanced their way, and saw Purple and Alexander in the car. His gloomy eyes grew even colder with a hint of hatred.
He hated Alexander, and he hated her too!
Purple’s emotions were complex. Nathaniel’s look was like a shadow over her carefree heart, pressing down in an instant to beco a heavy lump in the dust.
“Stop looking; it’s nauseating,” Alexander said from the side.
When it ca to Nathaniel, Alexander’s words were always vicious and cold-hearted, without a shred of decency.
