“I want you to test him,” Nathaniel Sumrs smiled, “why, are you afraid? Afraid that the feelings you’ve invested in are just illusions, like the moon reflected in water, a flower in the mirror?”
Purple Sumrs asked, “Does Evelyn Willard know about this?”
Nathaniel Sumrs gently shook his head, “She doesn’t know, but you need to understand that there is a saying in this world, ‘A guilty conscience needs no accuser.’ If Alexander Sumrs knew that Evelyn Willard has returned, he would definitely eliminate the threat at its roots.”
He smiled as he looked at Purple Sumrs, “Evelyn Willard is currently living on Prosperity Street, so what do you think, do you dare to tell Alexander Sumrs?”

Purple Sumrs paced back and forth in her room and, unable to contain herself any longer, sent a ssage to Alexander Sumrs: Will you be back tonight?
She consoled herself: It was just asking if he would return, it wasn’t a test, it didn’t imply distrust…
Alexander Sumrs replied to her ssage quickly with a single word: “Yes.”
Purple Sumrs felt slightly relieved.
But that was only just a little, she was still anxious.
Purple Sumrs waited for Alexander Sumrs in her room.
After a short while, worried that Alexander Sumrs would go directly to his room to rest upon returning, she went to wait for him in his room. As ti ticked by slowly, Purple Sumrs’s heart could not find peace; she stepped out of the room to wait for him…
Atra Blanc had already gone to sleep, unaware that Purple Sumrs was pacing in the hallway.
Purple Sumrs moved from the hallway to the stairs, from the stairs to the living room, and finally back to the stairs, where she sat down and fell asleep on the steps.
Alexander Sumrs didn’t return until after one o’clock at night, finding Purple Sumrs asleep, leaning against the stair railing.
He walked over, gently picked her up, and carried her upstairs back to their room.
Purple Sumrs awoke in his arms, looked up to see his Adam’s apple, his jawline… and looking further up, she saw his eyes.
All of a sudden, Purple Sumrs wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging tightly to him!
Alexander Sumrs was slightly confused, sensing that sothing was off with Purple Sumrs’s emotions, he asked, “What’s wrong?”
Purple Sumrs didn’t answer, but looked up and kissed him, just like he always kissed her, filled with longing and desire.
Alexander Sumrs was almost dizzy with the unexpected sweetness.
Tonight, Purple Sumrs was far more passionate than he could have imagined.
Alexander Sumrs was overwheld, almost wishing he could take her right there on the stairs.
But sothing was amiss.
Even if Purple Sumrs was tornted by lovesickness, she shouldn’t be doing this here, not in a place where Atra Blanc could potentially see them at any mont! She was always so shy and sensitive in matters of love, so why was she now acting with such reckless abandon?
Alexander Sumrs carried her back to the room.
“What’s gotten into you?” Alexander Sumrs let her go and asked with a smile, “Little temptress, are you hinting that I haven’t been satisfying you lately?”
Purple Sumrs smiled coyly, “That’s as if you’ve ever satisfied .”
