Alexander couldn’t take it, he disentangled himself and went to take a shower.

Purple said, “I opened the window and saw him in the garden, feeding corn to Tiny.”
“Ungrateful scoundrel,” Alexander cursed Tiny, “turning coat over a bit of food.”
Purple felt that he was wrong; crows weren’t dogs, they were highly vigilant and wouldn’t pay attention unless soone familiar was feeding them.
“Alright, stop thinking about it.” Alexander kissed her forehead tenderly and comforted her, “Sleep now, I’ll take you out tomorrow.”
It was already three in the morning and Purple was very tired, plus lying in Alexander’s embrace was so comfortable, she quickly fell asleep with a sense of peace.

Purple was instantly jolted awake and hurriedly sat up, saying, “Mom! Nothing happened! We didn’t do anything!”
