Chapter 632: Chapter 632: Seeking the Fortune Teller_1
Purple Sumrs felt that Alexander Sumrs was being unreasonable.
Every ti he visited the hospital, he bought dragon fruit.
Even though the first ti he didn’t let her eat the dragon fruit but gave it to May Francis, the second ti he made sure she ate it, and now it was the third ti…
Purple’s face blatantly displayed her disgust.
She thought, “Doesn’t he love very much? Why doesn’t he know I hate dragon fruit!”
Perhaps her disdainful look was too intense; Alexander was slightly embarrassed and put the fruit on the table, saying, “If you don’t want to eat it, just look at it.”
Obviously, he couldn’t admit that he bought it to test her…
Atra Blanc also felt that Alexander was too careless and gave him a reproachful glance before going to buy sothing to eat for her daughter. She was in such a hurry that she forgot that by leaving, she was clearly giving the two of them another chance to be alone.
However, the siblings hadn’t really seen each other much recently and didn’t seem too affectionate anymore. Besides, they were in a hospital with doctors and nurses coming and going, so it should be alright, right?
Alexander did indeed show restraint, but not because he turned over a new leaf; it was out of consideration for Purple’s well-being that he didn’t bother her.
He pulled up a chair and sat down in front of the hospital bed, asking Purple what had been going on with her lately.
Ever since Purple began studying day and night, Alexander found it difficult to see her at all and was unclear about the recent issues with her health.
“Maybe I’m just too tired; I’m not sure,” Purple sighed, deeply feeling the regret that her grand ambitions were being held back by her body.
“Do you think I should see an old traditional dicine doctor for so conditioning?” Purple said gloomily. “I feel fine outside, but as soon as I get ho, I start to feel awful, drowsy and sick.”
Alexander’s gaze flickered, “Is that so…”
Atra was quick to buy fruit and returned to the ward. Just as she put down the fruit, Alexander stood up to leave.
“Eh? You just got here…” Atra stamred, while Alexander strode out the door, already gone.
Atra gazed blankly at the door, feeling inexplicably disappointed.
Her feelings were certainly contradictory. She was alard when her son was close to her daughter, yet she felt sowhat unhappy when he was indifferent towards her…
…
Once Alexander got into the car, Zack Wallace asked with concern, “Ms. Sumrs is alright, isn’t she?”
Alexander didn’t answer, his brow furrowed, sitting in the car with a gloomy face as if pondering sothing.
Zack dared not ask more, just obediently waiting in the front.
After a while, Alexander suddenly said, “Let’s make a trip to Hunter Dalton.”
Zack was shocked, his first thought being that sothing must be wrong with Purple’s spirit!
Otherwise, why would they suddenly go to see that charlatan Hunter Dalton?
Seeing Alexander’s grim expression, Zack knew it wasn’t the ti to ask detailed questions, so he quickly started the car and headed towards Hunter’s office.
The Equinox Geomancy and Nurology Company, owned by Hunter, was where Zack went for the first ti.
Usually, they would just call the person over, but this ti Alexander was apparently in such a hurry that he went directly to him.
The company was located in the business district of the city center, very upscale. At first glance, it looked like any ordinary white-collar office, but it was more carefully decorated, displaying many antiques and crystals. At the entrance, there was a shrine to the Three Pure Ones.
Alexander was invited into the VIP room by Hunter himself for a personal eting.
Zack waited outside, bored, occasionally scanning the surroundings.
In a nearby office sat many employees, each with a computer in front of them. One of the young white-collar workers was showing a custor her palm through a video call.
He said, “Miss, this peach blossom evil spirit is very fierce. You must block it with talisman paper, otherwise it could affect your future prospects in love.”
When the custor inquired about the price of the talisman paper, the white-collar worker imdiately began to describe the different prices and effects.
His tone was almost identical to Hunter’s.
Zack felt like he had fallen into a den of pyramid schers, which was terrifying.
But then, rembering the coin that had taken a bullet for him last ti… he was sowhat tempted again.
Should he buy so more evil-repelling items?
