Chapter 560: Chapter 560 Wait a Little Longer_1
Moving out of the Sumrs Residence.
This idea had always been on Alexander Sumrs’ mind. Before, it was because he didn’t want Atra Blanc to stay here and be wronged; now he wanted his beloved woman to stay as far away from Nathaniel Sumrs as possible, the farther the better.
Although that’s what he thought, when it really ca to bringing it up, he couldn’t put it that way.
During dinner, Alexander said, “Purple’s studies are getting more and more intense, and going to and from school is too exhausting. Once this sester is over, she’ll be in third grade. The workload will only get heavier. I’ve seen a few communities near the school that aren’t bad. How about we buy a place and live there? After Purple graduates, we can sell the house or keep it as an investnt.”
Atra Blanc looked at the siblings blankly. “Do you an… we’re moving out?”
Purple Sumrs suspected that Atra Blanc might have a masochistic streak…
Atra Blanc lived here without respect and without friends. Knowing about the move, shouldn’t she be happy? Why did she seem a little lancholic?
“Ahem, ahem…” Purple Sumrs coughed twice and slowly said, “Brother and I just had this thought, we haven’t decided yet… um, so we wanted to ask for your opinion.”
Atra Blanc’s expression was sowhat startled.
After a long pause, without saying it was a good or bad idea, she just said, “I have lived here for over twenty years…”
She clearly didn’t want to leave.
It was precisely because Atra Blanc had always shown attachnt to the Sumrs Residence that Alexander Sumrs, despite his wealth, had never arranged another place for his own mother to live.
Hearing Atra Blanc say this, the siblings fell silent.
They did want to move, but they couldn’t force Atra Blanc to move with them; that would be too selfish.
Atra Blanc seed to sense the subtle change in the atmosphere and looked at Purple Sumrs uneasily, asking, “Purple, has it been very tiring to travel to and from school lately? Are you getting up too early?”
“Um…” Purple hesitated, half-truthfully, half-falsely saying, “The roads always seem to get jamd, and to avoid the morning peak, I have to get up very early… Coming back ho after school is just as bad, the traffic can be terrible…”
Atra Blanc’s expression seed torn and conflicted.

The siblings exchanged glances and quietly ate their als.
Afterward, Purple kept feeling uncomfortable, as if she had done sothing wrong.
That night, as was his habit, Alexander slipped into her room. Purple couldn’t help but say, “I feel especially sorry for mom, maybe we should forget it and not move.”
Alexander lifted the blanket in an experienced way, wrapping his arms around her as he lay down, unconcerned: “What’s there to be sorry about moving? You’re overthinking it. Moving out is for her own good, she’s living too enclosed a life now.”
“You’re shaless,” Purple snuggled into his embrace, poking his chest with her index finger, “You’re clearly trying to hide your own affair, yet you speak as if you’re trying to save mom’s life.”
“What am I hiding?” Alexander tickled by her poking, chuckled softly, “I never thought about hiding. Let’s go tell mom now and clear things up.”
Purple was shocked. “What are you prepared to say?”
“Just say, ‘You don’t have to worry about your hard-raised daughter marrying into another family. You’ll also get a daughter-in-law who is exactly to your liking. Your daughter and daughter-in-law are all set in one go. Just wait to hold your grandchildren.’
Purple couldn’t help but chuckle in his arms, her shoulders shaking.
Alexander asked, “Shall we go?”
“Stop joking,” Purple looked up, her cheeks flushed with the shyness of a young girl, “Let’s wait a little longer, I’m not ready yet…”
Alexander leaned down to kiss her and said, “Alright, then we’ll wait a little longer.”
He reached out to turn off the bedside lamp, and the room was imdiately plunged into darkness.
Only the whispered sweet nothings of lovers remained.
