Chapter 542: My Man (Additional Chapter for Rewards from Moonlit Bunny)_1
Alexander Sumrs laughed and said, “Didn’t you clarify everything with Gavin Graves already?”
At his words, Purple Sumrs showed a fierce look and pinched his face again, “You still have the face to say that! While I was chatting with him, you called and scolded ! How did you scold ? Oh, yes! You said we had eloped! Your mouth, I really am… I really am…”
She was at a loss for words!
“You’re too much!” Purple Sumrs concluded sternly, “You don’t trust , and you slander !”
“I was wrong.” Alexander Sumrs apologized, taking her small hand and lightly slapping his own face with it twice, “Hit a few tis to vent your anger?”
“…” Purple Sumrs retracted her hand with a red face and scoffed, “I’m not that bored.”
Her eyes darted about as she put on a show of seriousness, “I’m a civilized person, I don’t hit people randomly, but since you’re at fault first, your punishnt is to do push-ups! Do a hundred of them!”
When Purple Sumrs acted childishly, it was really sothing, as if doing push-ups wasn’t boring at all.
Alexander Sumrs flipped over, embracing her and pressing her down below him, kissing her lips, “Okay, I’ll do a hundred!”
Trapped between his arms, Purple Sumrs hesitated, “…Are you really going to do a hundred?”
Alexander Sumrs seriously started doing push-ups on the bed.
But he wasn’t being honest during the act, kissing her after every push-up, repeatedly.
After being kissed twenty or thirty tis, Purple Sumrs cried foul, annoyed, “That doesn’t count! You’re just taking advantage of !”
Alexander Sumrs laughed heartily, not forgetting to belittle his rival at this mont, “Gavin Graves definitely couldn’t last past fifty!”
Purple Sumrs couldn’t stand his shaless and arrogant behavior and imdiately retorted, “Being able to do fifty is already quite impressive.”
Alexander Sumrs’s gaze darkened slightly, nacingly fixing on Purple Sumrs below him.
Purple Sumrs: “…”
She had a feeling that things weren’t looking too good…
Later, Alexander Sumrs did an entire hundred push-ups while pinning her down.
Purple Sumrs felt her lips were likely… possibly… should be… well, swollen.
The couple ssed around on the bed for most of the day until they were both tired and lazily curled up together to chat.
Alexander Sumrs began to tell Purple Sumrs about his past.
He said soone had once read his fortune, which promised the life of royalty and nobility, destined to be auspicious and turn peril into safety throughout his life.
When he and Damian Howard were just starting out in Pearlpoint City, they had countless enemies, every one of them wanting to kill them. Once, he was thrown into the infamous Shark Bay. Fortunately, he was incredibly lucky and happened to hit a ti when the sharks had just been fed. Sharks in a state of satiety are like drunkards, groggy and do not attack humans. Alexander Sumrs grabbed a frayed towing rope at the stern of the boat and made it back to shore without anyone noticing.
Even though he saved his life, by then his ribs were broken, and he was dragging himself in the seawater for half a day, truly suffering greatly.
Upon hearing this, Purple Sumrs was both shocked and pained, unable to resist scolding him, “If you’re so fortunate, you should cherish your life even more! Why do you always put yourself in danger!”
“Purple, you don’t understand, it’s those people who were too bad.” Alexander Sumrs said with a laugh, as if he was the innocent one and one should bla the cruel and terrible outside world.
Purple Sumrs was speechless, then asked, “What about the ti you fell into a pit of snakes?”
“That was just a scary situation.” Alexander Sumrs said dismissively, “They don’t put deadly venomous snakes in snake pits, because then, in three to five minutes, the person is dead and it’s not fun anymore. So they are mostly non-poisonous or slightly poisonous snakes. They look scary, but it’s nothing much… But getting bitten by a snake really hurts.”
Talking about this, Alexander Sumrs seriously repeated, “When the toxin acts, the wound hurts even more than a dog bite.”
The corners of Purple Sumrs’s eyes heated up, not wanting him to see, she lowered her head and buried it in his chest, pinching his waist and pretending to huff, “So you’ve been bitten by a dog before!”
Otherwise, how would he know it hurts more than a dog bite?
“What happened after that?” Purple Sumrs pressed on.
“After that?” His tone was arrogantly brash, “After that, I built a crocodile pool and threw all those people into it!”
Purple Sumrs, resting on his chest, shed a tear.
She thought to herself: So this is how my man grew up…
