Zack Wallace severely reprimanded Ryan Wesley and then bailed him out from detention.
Once back in the car, Zack’s anger had sowhat subsided, and he said to Ryan, “Don’t strut around just because you think you’ve avenged Ms. Sumrs. I’m telling you, what you did was unwise. The Foster Family is not to be trifled with. They might not dare to confront us directly, but they could take it out on Ms. Sumrs. On the surface, Ms. Sumrs is just a foster daughter of the Sumrs Family, without any power or influence—easy prey for others. You may think you’ve done a good deed, but you’ve actually brought trouble to Ms. Sumrs! The grudge Bella has from this incident will all be blad on Ms. Sumrs!”
Upon hearing this, Ryan instantly beca sowhat panic-stricken, “Ah… then, what should I do? Uncle, I was really angry at the ti and could only think of an eye for an eye. I didn’t consider the rest…”

Jane McCain and Zara Jason also had complicated feelings.

All three girls felt very sorry for him…
“When you miss , you can just burn so paper for ,” Ryan said with his spirits dashed, drowning his sorrow in his drink with an almost crying look, “There’s no internet there, and mobile phones, ga consoles, comics – none of it’s allowed. They say to strengthen the body, there’s a mandatory twenty-kiloter march every week.”
To a new recruit in the army, a 20-kiloter march might be nothing, but Ryan was a pushover. Purple Sumrs still rembered kicking him into a trash can once.
She was quite surprised at the ti, but later found out that despite Ryan’s apparently wild behavior, he had been frail since childhood and only began to gain so strength after graduating from elentary school.
“Your uncle is doing this for your own good; you really need to toughen up…” Purple Sumrs encouraged him.
Jane slapped his shoulder in a bro-like manner, consoling him, “No matter how hard it gets, it’s just for half a term. Just grit your teeth, and you’ll pull through!”
Ryan lanted, “Cut off from the world, how can I endure that!”
Zara thought for a mont and said, “Even though there won’t be mobile phones or computers, you could still correspond, right? We could write letters to you.”
Ryan’s eyes imdiately lit up, eagerly looking at Zara, “Sure! It’s a deal!”
