She rely saw that Purple had saved Mrs. Farrell’s child and wanted her to plead on her behalf.

Two days later, the governor’s secretary and Mrs. Farrell paid a visit.

The governor’s secretary, nad Caden West, was ten years older than Camilla Farrell, with deep laugh lines on his face. He said, “Ms. Sumrs, I have already been made aware of what happened that day. You had the courage to save my daughter under those circumstances—I am very grateful to you!”
“You are too kind,” Purple Sumrs replied modestly, “Actually, you really don’t need to thank . I rely helped a little. The true savior of your young lady was herself. If she hadn’t clung to that ball of yarn, I wouldn’t have been able to do anything.”
Purple Sumrs did not show pride for her deeds and even complinted their child’s intelligence, making both Caden West and Camilla Farrell laugh happily.
Camilla Farrell said with a smile, “Could it be that there is truly such a thing as fate in this world? After returning ho that day, my baby refused to let go of it. I forcibly took it from her, and she cried until she was allowed to keep that ball of yarn in her hand to fall asleep.”
Her husband gently patted her hand and said, “Don’t think that because she’s young, she knows nothing. I believe, actually, she understands everything in her heart—that thing is her amulet!”
The corners of Purple Sumrs’ mouth twitched slightly…
She felt that Cleo would be frustrated—the yarn sleeve…seed like it was not coming back.
As expected, Camilla Farrell’s next words were, “Ms. Sumrs, could you sell that ball of yarn? I can exchange it with sothing else for you. I’m really sorry, my daughter just can’t let go of it and I…as a mother, I can’t bear to see her cry.”

Camilla Farrell was extrely pleased and asked, “Ms. Sumrs, I can’t just take your possession for nothing. If there’s anything you like, or any request you have, please tell , and I will do my utmost to fulfill it!”
Purple Sumrs couldn’t help but glance at the gifts they had brought with them, nearly piling up like a small mountain.
Secretary Wiggins laughed heartily, “Ms. Sumrs, you don’t have to feel burdened. My wife is such a person—once she has received soone’s kindness, she will be endlessly grateful, wishing she could give the best things in the world to the other person!”
At this mont, Atra Blanc ca over with tea.
Camilla Farrell took the tea cup from her hands and said apologetically, “Ms. Blanc, I was rude to you that day, and I’m really sorry! Ever since having a child, I’ve been too sensitive and impulsive, offending you, and I’m very sorry.”
Atra Blanc was unexpectedly apologized to and was stunned for a mont before she hurriedly said, “…it’s okay, it’s okay. There were so many guests that day, you needed to take care of the child and entertain others. It’s impossible to attend to everything, I understand.”
Camilla Farrell looked at Atra Blanc closely, and seeing not a trace of resentnt in her eyes, with a calm and tranquil deanor, she couldn’t help but sigh softly to herself.
She thought Atra Blanc was extrely pure and kind, and yet she had taken sides and misunderstood her, which was really inappropriate.
Thinking of this, Camilla Farrell felt even more resentful towards Jade Carlson!
She hated herself even more for keeping such an ungrateful and malicious person by her side, not only harming herself but also nearly harming her child!
Camilla Farrell was filled with regret.
When leaving, Camilla Farrell emphasized ti and again to Purple Sumrs, “If Ms. Sumrs encounters any difficulties, please be sure to tell ! You saved my daughter, you are a benefactor to our entire family!”
Thus, not only did Jade Carlson’s conspiracy fail to succeed, but it also allowed Purple Sumrs to forge a connection with Mrs. Farrell.
