Chapter 375: Peachwater Village Special Features

Jane McCain rolled her eyes at him: “Tacky!”

“You’re not tacky?” Ryan Wesley glared at her, “Then you go stay next door, and watch out for hanging ghosts strangling you in your sleep!”

“Can you guys stop fighting?” Zara Jason nervously looked around and asked softly, “Isn’t there a guesthouse without ghosts around?”

“This is the specialty of Peachwater Village.” Ryan Wesley took out the travel brochure and flipped through it, “Every guesthouse here has rumors of ghosts. Even if there’s none, they will fabricate one. Otherwise, there would be no atmosphere.”

The waiter who brought them there also laughed, “Tourists co to Peachwater Village for the ghosts. They flock to wherever supernatural events occur. If there were no ghosts, who would want to co to such a remote place?”

Zara Jason widened her eyes and asked: “Are there really ghosts?”

The waiter mysteriously smiled but didn’t answer.

It was a professional rule; if they said there are ghosts and the guests didn’t see any, they would be questioned. But if they said there are no ghosts, wouldn’t that disappoint the guests? So the best way was to keep silent and leave the guests in suspense.

Zara, however, was scared by the waiter’s eerie smile and beca even more nervous.

They originally planned on booking four single rooms, but Zara was too scared, and although Jane didn’t show it, she was also a bit uneasy. They decided to change to two rooms instead: one family room and one single room.

The waiter found this quite normal, arranged the rooms with a smile, and provided white candles and matches for free.

Seeing this, Ryan Wesley asked: “Are there power outages around here?”

The waiter just smiled and left without a word.

“What’s going on? So mysterious…” Ryan Wesley scratched the back of his head, finding it inexplicable.

Purple Sumrs figured it out and couldn’t help but smile: “These aren’t for power outages. They’re for playing with spirit boards and ouija boards.”

Jane McCain got excited: “Shall we play tonight?”

Zara Jason’s face turned pale at once: “I’m not playing! You guys go ahead!”

Jane McCain laughed again: “Actually, I don’t dare to play either! I was just saying.”

Everyone laughed and began to pack their luggage.

Purple Sumrs opened her crossbody bag first, and a dark mass was taken out by her and placed on the table.

Zara Jason softly exclaid, “Purple, you brought your myna bird with you?”

Hearing this, Jane McCain turned to look and asked in amazent, “How did you get it through security?”

“It didn’t pass security.” Purple Sumrs touched Tiny’s head with a smile, “When we entered the station, it had already flown onto the train to wait for . Just before the train departed, I called it to fly in.”

“Is this bird a genius? So smart!”

As everyone was amazed, Purple Sumrs opened the window and let the bird out – Tiny Sumrs flapped its black wings and instantly disappeared without a trace.

“Ah?! Will it co back after flying away?” Jane McCain rushed to the window and looked up, seeing nothing but the beautiful sky filled with evening glow.

Purple Sumrs laughed and said, “It’s been bored on the train, this is a good ti for it to relax. Don’t worry, it won’t fly too far.”

Zara Jason also chid in, “Purple’s myna bird is very spiritual; it won’t get lost.”

Ryan Wesley couldn’t stand the girls’ chatter and urged, “Hurry up and pack, then let’s go eat. The earlier we go, the earlier we return, or else we’ll have to walk in the dark later!”

Hearing this, Purple Sumrs picked up her phone and looked at it, “Let’s go to Poplar Farmhouse Restaurant.”

Everyone looked at her: “Why? Did you check the travel guide? Is it good?”

Purple Sumrs shook her head, honestly saying, “The three college students who died of food poisoning, right? They had dinner at Poplar Farmhouse Restaurant that night.”

Everyone:

Can they still enjoy their al now?
