Capítulo 1658: Chapter 1658: I Have a Little Goldfish 24
Aaron Ray picked out a very stunning yellow evening gown for Yuna Goldsmith, off-the-shoulder, high-waisted, with delicate gold tassels at the cuffs and hem, glimring under the lights.
Yellow is a difficult color to pull off, especially this shade close to golden yellow, which can make skin appear rough and dark if not managed carefully.
Yuna Goldsmith has fair and radiant skin, and the gown highlighted her beauty even more, like the blossoming spring flowers, tender and delicate.
Milton Bryce was almost spellbound.
After a while, Aaron Ray walked out from behind her, dressed in a formal suit, and despite the visible limp when he walked, he was quite commanding.
Milton Bryce felt a pang of envy.
He himself looked decent when dressed up, but when they dressed up, they turned into a stunning couple, the gap was quite significant…
“Where are we going?” Milton Bryce asked with pursed lips.
“There’s an auction at the Lido Nightclub tonight, Harvey Howard will be attending,” Aaron Ray replied, adjusting his white gloves.
His left hand was intact, but his right hand had three fingers cut off, leaving only the thumb, index finger, and half of the middle finger, hence he wore gloves to cover it.
dical advancents are limited these days, and prosthetics haven’t progressed much. Aaron molded three fingers from dough, let them air dry to harden, then slipped them into the glove, giving the appearance of a normal hand at first glance.
His right hand was inconvenient to use, which would raise suspicion, so he mainly used his left hand.
Milton Bryce thought earnestly, muttering, “Harvey Howard? …The na sounds familiar, who is he?”
“The current head of the Howard Family,” Aaron Ray said while adjusting his gloves, “Their business spans all of Wheatley, and they plan to build a large entertainnt city in Clearwater City. If we can connect with them, we could earn untold wealth effortlessly in the future.”
“So impressive…” Milton Bryce swallowed, “What should we do then?”
“A car will co to pick us up shortly, I’ve arranged everything. Once there, just enjoy yourselves, I’ll let you know when you need to cooperate.”
Milton Bryce and Yuna Goldsmith both nodded.
Aaron Ray saw the trust in their eyes, remained silent montarily, then said, “If soone inquires about your identity, don’t explain too much, just say you’re my cousins.”
Milton Bryce cheerfully replied, “Alright, from now on, I’m your big cousin.”
He felt he was taking advantage of Aaron Ray and was quite pleased about it.
Aaron Ray smiled, unfazed.
When it was ti to leave, a car drove up outside—a stylish convertible. Milton Bryce didn’t recognize the license plate but seeing its shiny polish, assud it was a luxury brand.
He nudged Aaron Ray’s arm, “When did you buy a car?”
“I rented it,” Aaron Ray replied.
The driver opened the car door and courteously invited them in.
Milton Bryce hadn’t experienced such treatnt before, and for a mont felt overjoyed, imagining himself as a wealthy young master.
In high spirits, he joked in the car, “You should give Yuna a new na. Little Fish? Little Gold? Just don’t let her surna be Ray, or it would be ‘Feed Little Fish’! Hahaha…”
Yuna Goldsmith didn’t get Milton Bryce’s humor but joined in the laughter seeing him laugh.
Aaron Ray, sitting in the front passenger seat, said lightly, “Changing nas might lead to mistakes, just keep her surna as Goldsmith—Yuna Goldsmith.”
“Sounds good, I’ve gotten used to calling her Little Goldfish!” Milton Bryce laughed.
They chatted and laughed all the way, Aaron Ray was in a good mood and teased Milton Bryce a few tis along the way.
At the nightclub, a striking woman ca to greet them and was montarily surprised to see Yuna Goldsmith alighting with Aaron Ray.
With a light touch on Yuna’s waist, Aaron Ray introduced, “This is my cousin, surna Goldsmith.”
“Oh…” Farah understood, smiling as she greeted, “Hello, Ms. Goldsmith.”
Aaron Ray asked her, “Has everyone arrived?”
“They have.” Farah led them inside, slightly lowering her voice, “Griffin Dalton is also here.”
