Chapter 1644: Chapter 1644: I Have a Little Goldfish 10
After finishing all the diaries, it was already broad daylight.
Milton Bryce was still sound asleep in bed.
The room wasn’t big, just over a dozen square ters. A bed, a wardrobe, a square table with a few chairs, and the remaining space was filled with buckets by Milton Bryce, making the room very humid.
Aaron Ray walked over to the bucket filled with goldfish.
The fish in the bucket sensed his gaze, flicking its tail fin and blowing bubbles, seemingly not in a good mood.
If not seen with his own eyes, Aaron Ray would never believe that such magical beings actually exist in this world… or perhaps, calling it an immortal might be more appropriate?
For a mont, various thoughts filled his mind, and he suddenly realized that as long as he had this fish in his possession, he had at least a hundred ways to restore the Ray Family to its forr glory!
Aaron Ray looked at the goldfish, his breathing unknowingly becoming tense, like a person falling into hell, suddenly seeing a rope ladder appear before him, rely needing to climb up to reach heaven!
He took a deep breath.
Looking up at Milton Bryce still fast asleep on the bed, he forcefully shook him awake, saying, “Take another bucket of fish to the Fortune River. If you et that old man, sell it to him as long as the price is over 150.”
Milton Bryce awoke imdiately: “Young master, didn’t you say each fish should sell for at least 3,000?”
“You won’t get a cent less, just do as I say first,” Aaron Ray replied.
Milton Bryce looked confused, feeling strange, how co the young master seems… to be a bit high-spirited?
Could it be that staying up all night makes one excited?
Aaron Ray personally picked out a koi carp and had Milton Bryce take it to the riverside. Despite not sleeping all night, he was particularly energetic.
He flipped through the six diaries over and over, morizing everything related to the angel fish, then carefully wrapped the diaries and hid them under the bed.
As for the magical fish, it seed genuinely upset, showing no reaction no matter how he coaxed it—like an ordinary, unremarkable goldfish.
But Aaron Ray was sure he wasn’t seeing things and wasn’t hallucinating; this goldfish was indeed an angel fish! It could transform into a woman at any ti, and a very beautiful woman at that!
Aaron Ray harbored no romantic fantasies about it.
He was a normal person, instinctively feeling rejection and aversion towards anomalies, hence no matter how beautiful the transford woman might be, his focus was solely on the magical nature of this fish.
He changed the water for each fish.
The water needed to be pre-sunned, changing a third at a ti. Without a filter, uneaten feed had to be promptly removed to avoid polluting the water.
Aaron Ray stayed busy at ho until ten in the morning when Milton Bryce returned.
Milton Bryce was both excited and nervous, carefully locking the doors and windows after entering, then pulling out a wad of banknotes—
“Young master, he offered 300 dollars!” Milton Bryce spread the banknotes on the bed excitedly, “Who on earth is that old man?! So generous!”
Aaron Ray’s lips curled up, he picked up the banknotes, counted them, and gave Milton Bryce 150. As agreed before, they split the earnings equally.
“The old man is not only a koi enthusiast but also has a collector’s obsession; as long as it’s rare colors, he won’t be able to eat or sleep without buying them back.” Aaron Ray said with a faint smile, “Do you know what kind of stamp is the most valuable?”
“What kind?” Milton Bryce asked humbly for guidance.
“The last piece in a set of stamps,” Aaron Ray replied, “In business, you have to find the right direction first. Even the most precious wood sculpture, sold to a farr’s wife, is just a pile of worthless firewood. How much these koi can sell depends on the type of buyer.”
Milton Bryce was excited upon hearing this: “Young master, then let’s hurry and sell all the remaining fish to him! If we don’t and they die, we’ll be at a loss ourselves!”
Aaron Ray chuckled, “No rush, let’s keep him in suspense for a few days.”
