Capítulo 1635: Chapter 1635: I Have a Little Goldfish 1

Mr. Ghost Hayes ca to the Graves Family today, to sell his new product—

an ancient bronze mirror the size of a palm.

The mirror’s surface was dusty, unable to reflect a clear face. The back was intricately carved with a lotus and a ghostly face, though it was heavily worn, many areas had blurred into vague patches.

Gerald Graves held the mirror, flipping it over hesitantly.

“Just this worthless thing, worth 150 gold bars?” he muttered, glancing at Mr. Ghost Hayes, “Hey, if you’re trying to rip off, don’t expect to do business in Clearwater City in the future.”

“How dare I?!” Mr. Ghost Hayes cried innocence, “Everyone knows you’re the second master of the Graves Family now. Even with a hundred guts, I wouldn’t dare cheat you! This mirror is truly a treasure, I brought it specifically for you to see!”

Gerald smirked: “You obviously wanted to sell it to my older brother, he wasn’t interested, and by coincidence, I ca, so you showed it to .”

He spends money like water, though sotis absent-minded, he’s not a fool.

Spending 150 gold bars on a broken mirror?

Might as well go to the nightclubs for fun.

Coincidentally, his dream girl had run off with soone else, urgently needing to heal his emotional wounds.

In short, Gerald’s interest in this mirror was lacking.

“This is a Demon-Reflecting Mirror.” Mr. Ghost Hayes lowered his voice, speaking mysteriously to him, “It can reveal demons!”

Gerald heard this, slightly frowned, and looked again at the mirror in his hand.

After a mont, a sarcastic smile curved on his lips: “But first, I need to find a demon; otherwise, what’s the use of buying this mirror?”

Mr. Ghost Hayes was at a loss for words.

These days, finding a demon is quite a challenge.

Gerald added: “Forget it, I see you’re quite pitiful. This worthless thing, you probably can’t sell it, how about 75 gold bars, sell it to cheaper.”

Mr. Ghost Hayes looked stunned, his expression seeming to say: You actually know how to bargain?

After a while, Mr. Ghost Hayes quietly took the mirror back from Gerald’s hand.

Gerald looked slightly confused, raising his eyebrows: “What, not selling anymore?”

Mr. Ghost Hayes hesitated, “75 is too low, at least has to be 120…”

Gerald stroked his chin, looking at him again: “Can it really show demons?”

“Really!” Mr. Ghost Hayes nodded.

Gerald thought for a mont, said: “How about this, I give you 75 gold bars, the rest on a check. When the mirror shows a demon, you can cash the check anyti.”

Mr. Ghost Hayes shook his head like a rattle drum, “No way, no way, it must be gold bars, checks or card paynts are not acceptable.”

“Oh, why are you so stubborn, old man?” Gerald was annoyed, “Always with the gold bars! Gold prices are falling!”

“Gold is great, lots of uses.” Mr. Ghost Hayes insisted, “120 gold bars, if you think it’s expensive, I can ask elsewhere.”

Gerald imdiately disagreed.

Too expensive, isn’t that the sa as saying can’t afford?

He can’t afford it?

“Fine, 120 it is!” Gerald snatched the mirror back, “Don’t complain about the weight of the gold later!”

Mr. Ghost Hayes chuckled twice.

Gerald looked down at the bronze mirror, a complex expression of confliction and dissatisfaction on his face, Mr. Ghost Hayes observed and knew, though Gerald bought the mirror, he wasn’t pleased inside.

“Gerald, Second Master.” Mr. Ghost Hayes grinned, revealing half a gold tooth, “You always take care of my business, in return, let tell you a story.”

Gerald snorted, “What’s a story worth?”

“To so, it’s worthless, but to so, it’s priceless.” Mr. Ghost Hayes laughed, “By the way, the person in the story, bears so resemblance to you.”

“Bears so resemblance to ?” Gerald beca interested, “Who?”

Mr. Ghost Hayes asked, “Aaron Ray, do you know this person?”

Gerald frowned: “Sounds familiar… Oh, isn’t he the one who squandered his family’s fortune?”

“Tis have changed, the man has money now.”

“Impossible, didn’t he die a long ti ago?”

“Listen to my story.” Mr. Ghost Hayes smiled, “Let tell you a story about Aaron Ray.”
