In the evening, Mr. Ghost Hayes stuffed himself in the cruise buffet restaurant, strolled back to work off the food, and was pondering whether to see a show in the theater on the first floor or try his luck at the casino.

In short, this place had it all when it ca to eating, drinking, and entertainnt, offering a rather comfortable experience.

When he returned, he didn’t see Cherry. Sticking his neck out, he glanced into the bedroom and then at the bathroom — Cherry was standing in front of the vanity, busy applying makeup in the mirror.

She looked quite serious.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk... All dolled up, where are you headed?" Mr. Ghost Hayes asked her with a toothpick in his mouth and a smile.

Cherry was dressed in a late Qing dynasty embroidered dress, with a thin layer of powder, and her eyebrows drawn into graceful curves. Her makeup was elegantly tasteful, and when she turned to smile, she resembled a classic lady from a Chinese painting.

"I’m going to see Purple Sumrs."

She seed in high spirits, applied so lip balm in the mirror, and pressed her lips together, leaving them hydrated.

Mr. Ghost Hayes looked her up and down and back again, muttering, "To see Purple Sumrs?"

Did she need to dress up like this just to see Purple Sumrs?

Cherry twirled around, checked her look front and back, feeling quite satisfied, and went out humming a tune.

Before leaving, she reminded Mr. Ghost Hayes, "Rember to clean the cat’s litter."

Mr. Ghost Hayes pouted, "Taking care of one isn’t enough, now I have another to deal with."

...

Besides the lower five levels of public entertainnt areas, the decks on other levels aren’t open to the public.

To use the elevator, one must swipe a room key card, and the elevator will only go to the floor on which the room is located, ensuring so degree of privacy and security for the guests.

With a card in hand, Cherry easily moved between floors.

She paused at the elevator door for a mont before going to knock on the room door of Purple Sumrs and Alexander Sumrs.

There were no bodyguards at the door, unlike Gavin Graves, who was single. When it ca to the couple, they preferred not to have outsiders nearby, so Alexander’s bodyguards only stood watch during the dayti.

The door was opened by Alexander Sumrs, whose face darkened at the sight of Cherry: "What are you doing here?"

Cherry, justified, declared, "Purple Sumrs asked to co!"

Alexander, face still dark, let her in.

Purple looked a bit surprised, glancing at the ti. It was almost nine o’clock.

Although she had indeed ntioned talking another day, she hadn’t expected Cherry to co so late.

Cherry sat in front of her, looking very earnest, "I’ve gone back and thought about it seriously. I think you’re especially right; it made everything clear to ."

"It’s ’enlightened ’," Purple corrected her.

"Anyway, I feel that what you said was great and very helpful to . Do you have anything else you’d like to say to ?" Cherry looked at her with bright eyes.

Purple rested her chin on her hand, thinking for a mont. Having just returned with Alexander from watching a show, her mind wasn’t quick enough to process, so she muttered, "There’s really nothing special..."

"Think carefully," Cherry urged, "Weren’t you very articulate when you were handling the case?"

Purple threw her a sidelong glance. Suddenly becoming so earnest was truly unusual.

"Your biggest problem is... not knowing how to love yourself. Loving yourself isn’t just eating well and enjoying life. You need to be independent and find your own value and aning in existence, understand?"

Cherry nodded.

"As long as you learn to love yourself and improve yourself, making yourself better each day, many people will naturally co to like and love you..."

Cherry nodded again.

"Don’t count on others to love you for a lifeti. Don’t rely on others to guide your direction. As long as you’re not independent, you’re incomplete."

Cherry kept nodding.

After nodding, she said, "I’ve noted it down. I’ll think about it more when I go back. If there’s sothing I still don’t understand, I’ll co to you again, is that okay?"

"Of course," Purple replied.

Cherry said, "Then I won’t return the room key card to you just yet."

"Okay, keep it with you for now."

Cherry left happily.

In the living room, Purple and Alexander exchanged puzzled glances with each other.
