Chapter 1494: Chapter 1494: All Just Excuses

We’ve co this far, how can we back down now?

Mr. Ghost Hayes persuaded Cherry in her ear.

Cherry wasn’t happy to listen, she pursed her lips and looked up—the 15-layer deck progressed in front of her like layers of a massive fortress, magnificent and awe-inspiring. But imagining staying in this huge behemoth, far from the mainland, for the next few days, she couldn’t help but feel fear.

“You are supposed to be the evil god, how can you be afraid? They should fear you, not you fear them!” Mr. Ghost Hayes said.

Cherry replied irritably, “Why can’t I be scared? If you die, you can turn into a ghost; if I die, it’s over! It’s over!”

Mr. Ghost Hayes: “…”

Seems she has a point…

As more and more people boarded the ship, Cherry stopped fussing and followed Mr. Ghost Hayes into the cabin.

The interior decoration was similar to a luxury hotel. The first to fifth floors consisted of dining rooms, a casino, theaters, and other entertainnt facilities, but they didn’t have ti to browse; they went directly to the elevator to the guest rooms on the upper floors.

They stayed in a suite with a living room; Cherry slept in the bedroom, while Mr. Ghost Hayes slept in the living room.

Since the room faced inward, they couldn’t see the sea, but through the floor-to-ceiling windows, they could see the gigantic oasis garden in the center of the cruise. The garden was planted full of tropical flowers, shrubs, and towering palm trees from the Caribbean.

Cherry stood by the window, curiously looking out, as she had never seen such plants.

Mr. Ghost Hayes was busy tidying up their luggage, then saw the black cat jump on the sofa and waved to chase it away: “It’s genuine leather! If it’s damaged, I can’t afford to pay!”

“ow~” The little black cat jumped down and started scratching the tassel of the floor-to-ceiling curtains.

Mr. Hayes shook his head, sighed, and decided to leave it alone.

Cherry murmured while looking outside: “So quiet…”

No crowds, no traffic, it seed even the sound of the wind couldn’t be heard.

“Tomorrow it’ll be lively.” Mr. Ghost Hayes walked over, opened half of the window, and took a deep breath, as if savoring the atmosphere of luxury and indulgence here.

He said, “Once tomorrow cos, you’ll know what it ans to be drunk with excess. Everyone who cos here will enjoy the best the world has to offer—the finest cuisine, the most beautiful won, the most spectacular performances, the most thrilling gas… Unrestrained, thorough indulgence, it’s practically heaven.”

“Heaven?” Cherry asked, unable to concretely grasp the concept of the word, “Then what will hell be like?”

“Here is also hell.” Mr. Ghost Hayes laughed.

Cherry blinked, puzzled as she looked at him.

“For so, this is heaven, but for others, it’s indeed hell.” He chuckled twice, “You’ll understand later.”

Cherry was half-understanding.

The next day, as buyers began arriving, the cruise ship beca bustling with activity.

There were only slightly more than two hundred actual financial backers, but beside each one would be assistants, attendants, bodyguards, and at least ten others, not to ntion perforrs, chefs, bartenders, the band, and beautiful won providing services anyti, anywhere for the financial backers…

Thus, there were thousands more. Beautiful won were everywhere, glasses clinked, everywhere you looked was a scene of singing and dancing.

Near the port, it seed like an ordinary tourist sightseeing cruise ship, but once entering the High Seas area, everything began to change.

Purple Sumrs was very unaccustod.

She had been to Alexander Sumrs’ Entertainnt City, initially thinking that place was already filled with decadence, but she didn’t expect this place to exceed even that.

She saw several familiar faces from the news, all gentlemanly and modest elite figures, yet here, they would openly harass female servers, utterly disgraceful.

Alexander Sumrs was unsurprised: “People always have a dark side, maybe they choose just these few days in a year to do what they want but dare not do normally, fulfilling a part of their evil nature for so thrill.”

Purple Sumrs still felt disgusting, she saw that man burying his whole face into the female server’s chest, unable to tolerate it, she lowly cursed: “A thug is a thug, what’s the point of excuses!”
