Chapter 1474: Chapter 1474: Can You Have So Ambition?

The next morning, Purple Sumrs went to collect a debt—

Ignoring Cherry’s wails, she forcefully dragged her away from Gavin Graves.

“I want to be with Gavin Graves!” Cherry sat in the car, complaining endlessly, “Why can’t he co with ? Why?”

“We’re going to a prison visit, do you think it’s a vacation? Bring family along?” Purple said irritably, “Do you need to be glued to him 24 hours a day?”

Cherry retorted boldly, “Yeah, why not?”

Purple rolled her eyes speechlessly.

They happened to encounter a red light, and as the car stopped, Purple pointed to the butterfly roses in the green belt outside the car window: “See that? There needs to be enough space and distance between two flowers to let them spread their branches and bloom freely. If they’re squeezed together, what happens? They suffocate to death!!!”

Cherry said, “You’re talking nonsense! Gavin Graves and I aren’t flowers!”

Aria Jackson, who was driving, chuckled and teased Purple, “What a lousy example, can’t swallow that chicken soup hahaha…”

Purple was quite displeased. She ca all the way here, leaving her husband and child, not to endure such nonsense.

“Anyway, you promised , after winning the lawsuit, you’d help with sothing. Don’t back out!”

“But you clearly said it was sothing easy!” Cherry argued.

Purple replied, “It’s easy for you!”

“Being apart from Gavin Graves is not easy at all!”

“It’s only a few hours, what’s not easy! I bet Gavin Graves is more than happy for to take you away, giving him so peace! Otherwise, why didn’t he stop ?!”

Cherry was infuriated, glaring at Purple. Then, with a sudden thought, her face darkened, and she turned to look out the window, ignoring Purple.

Seeing her quiet down, Purple finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Today, the main purpose was to take Cherry to et so prisoners. So might be scapegoats, others might be hiding clues to other cases, and so might be in for corruption, even though they’re in prison, the money’s whereabouts are unknown.

If Cherry could spot any clues, it would save a lot of trouble.

Purple was determined to get so interest from Cherry, otherwise, would the lawsuit have been for nothing? She wasn’t really in need of that lawyer’s fee.

Throughout the morning, Cherry t with about a dozen prisoners one after another.

Her ability wasn’t foolproof. It wasn’t so much about seeing their past as using the soul as a dium to peek into their mories.

The most common scenes she saw were of the prisoners’ relatives and friends or guilty deeds they had done, as these parts of mory were most vivid.

However, there were so criminals, naturally cold-blooded, who didn’t care even after killing, with muddled mories that nothing was clear.

By noon, Cherry was utterly exhausted, clamoring to go ho.

Purple and Aria Jackson sorted out the day’s results and were very satisfied.

“Why not beco a consultant for our police station!” Aria Jackson said with interest, “No need to work daily, co when needed, rest when not, and still get paid every month.”

Purple was quite intrigued, “Is that possible?”

Aria Jackson said, “Why not? It’s quite popular to hire consultants now, if there’s no breakthrough in interrogating a suspect, bring in a psychological consultant to talk, hypnotize, and they’ll tell you everything they wouldn’t say before! There’s also bloodstain analysts, ballistics experts, microexpression experts, and even in Russia, they hire diums, all of these are consultants.”

Purple laughed, “Let’s not get too mystical, having Cherry as a conversation consultant is enough.”

The two chatted intensely about career developnt.

Cherry lay on the table, ignoring them, weakly shouting, “I want to go ho… I want to find Gavin Graves…”

Purple looked at her, disappointed, “Can’t you have a bit of ambition? Be more independent and self-reliant!”

“I don’t care, I just want Gavin Graves… I just want Gavin Graves…”
