Chapter 1451: Chapter 1451 I Will Watch You

“I understand what you an.” Gavin Graves softly exhaled smoke and said calmly, “I want to know more details, like what do you need to do to get the lion back into its cage.”

“From where it ca, it should go back. You hand the dagger over to , and I’ll find soone to take her in. As for the dagger, I have other plans for it to avoid so persistent thieves from bringing it back up and causing more trouble for .”

Alexander Sumrs finished speaking and cast a chilling glance over Mr. Ghost Hayes.

Mr. Ghost Hayes crawled on the ground, trembling, not daring to lift his head.

Gavin Graves flicked the ash from his cigarette, looking indifferent, “You an, without that dagger, you can’t do anything, is that it?”

Upon hearing this, Alexander Sumrs furrowed his brows.

“On the wedding day, I did see a dagger, but after that day, I never saw it again.” Gavin Graves slightly raised his eyes, looking at Alexander Sumrs, “I understand you want to protect your wife and child, but without the dagger, taking her away is futile. Why should we ruin our relationship over such an unresolved dispute? It’s not worth it.”

Alexander Sumrs’ face had already turned completely gloomy…

He silently looked towards the direction of the second floor, his gaze sinister.

“If you don’t believe , then go ahead and search.” Gavin Graves smiled faintly, “Since you’ve made the trip, I feel bad letting you leave empty-handed, just be gentle, or else I might have to consult Purple Sumrs to see how one should handle a case of a mayor trespassing a private residence.”

“Fine, then let’s search.” Alexander Sumrs’ face lost its smile, coldly glancing at the subordinates beside him.

The subordinates understood and imdiately led people upstairs to search.

Gavin Graves’ n all showed dissatisfaction, but upon touching Gavin Graves’ slightly stern gaze, they remained silent and restrained.

In the almost oppressively quiet living room, not a single person spoke.

Gavin Graves lit a second cigarette.

Before he could finish smoking it, Alexander Sumrs’ people ca downstairs, evidently finding nothing.

“Let your people scatter.” Gavin Graves extinguished the cigarette butt, saying calmly, “Pearlpoint is a thousand miles away from Clearwater. As long as she doesn’t set foot in Pearlpoint, you don’t have to worry about her seeking revenge. Rather than lingering here, you might as well think of a way to find that dagger.”

Alexander Sumrs stared icily at Cherry, “Little devil, where did you hide the dagger?”

Cherry held her head down and remained silent.

At this mont, soone stepped forward, whispering a few words into Alexander Sumrs’ ear.

After listening, Alexander Sumrs let out a cold snort, looking at Gavin Graves, “Alright, thanks for the hospitality today. I won’t disturb you two newlyweds any longer, we’ll catch up so other day.”

Gavin Graves remained calm and unruffled, “You’re welco anyti.”

Alexander Sumrs turned to leave and suddenly stopped at the door, turning his head back with a sharp gaze at Cherry, “Little devil, I’ll be watching you.”

Cherry sat unmoved next to Gavin Graves, maintaining her original posture.

Alexander Sumrs coldly smiled and left with his n.

Only Gavin Graves’ people remained in the living room.

A subordinate consulted Gavin Graves for instructions.

Gavin Graves said expressionlessly, “All useless.”

Everyone held their breath and remained silent.

“I think you’ve all gotten too comfortable, only reacting when soone’s already breached the house. If Alexander Sumrs ca for my life, would you just stand by and wait to collect my corpse?”

His tone was still indifferent and calm, yet within that calmness lay a sinister chill, showing his fury had reached its peak.

Everyone was frightened, no one dared to respond.

Since the Howard Corporation’s decline, Graves Corporation had beco dominant in Wheatley, without any opponents to challenge it, Gavin Graves’ subordinates indeed had beco rather complacent.

“Have Lester Williams co over, and replace all the personnel in the new residence.” Gavin Graves said and went straight upstairs to the study.

Cherry, who had been with her head down, finally looked up, watching Gavin Graves’ departing back, wanting to speak but stopping.

In the end, she said nothing, sitting despondently on the sofa, silent and speechless.
