Chapter 1433: Chapter 1433: There’s Sothing Wrong with the Brain

Gavin Graves sighed softly.

He couldn’t figure out why he’d gotten involved with this troubleso matter.

Traveling abroad was for business discussions, and sotis the hosts would arrange for sightseeing or visits to local attractions, famous landmarks, or art galleries. But those places were visited by many, so why was he the only one affected?

So mages even suspected that soone might have used food to cast a curse on him.

However, a curse usually causes unbearable pain and tornt, ultimately resulting in death. Whatever was on Gavin’s body, it didn’t hurt or itch.

He couldn’t piece it together.

After taking a bath, he returned to the bedroom; the sky outside was already beginning to lighten.

Gavin lay back on the bed, looking at his petite wife sleeping soundly next to him… Her personality might be a bit irritating, but he still had to thank her.

He brushed aside the hair on her face and gently touched her soft cheek with his fingers, feeling a mix of relaxation and heaviness, then withdrew his hand and closed his eyes to sleep.

That night, Gavin didn’t sleep well.

Anyone would have trouble sleeping if they were aroused in the middle of the night and ended up sweating from the pain.

He got up half an hour later than usual the next day, got ready, and went downstairs for breakfast.

Cherry also ca downstairs rubbing her sleepy eyes, seeing him all dressed up, and asked, “Are you going out?”

“Yes, to the company,” Gavin replied.

“I want to go too,” Cherry said, lifting her head with so crumbs on her face.

Gavin slowly wiped his mouth and said, “I’m going to work at the company, what are you going to do there?”

She declared matter-of-factly, “It’s boring at ho, I want to go to the company and have fun.”

Gavin grabbed another tissue, wiped the crumbs from her mouth, and said, “The company is a place to work, there’s nothing fun there. Stay ho and watch cartoons.”

Cherry pouted, “If you won’t let go, I insist on going!”

Gavin: “…”

Unless he was out of his mind, there’s no way he’d agree to take her to the company.

She dared to point fingers at her mother-in-law at ho; who could guarantee nothing would happen at the company?

The won he had been around with before were all sensible and knew when to advance or retreat. Cherry, on the other hand… truly gave him a headache.

As fate would have it, Gerald suddenly arrived early in the morning, plopped down at the dining table, and unceremoniously asked Gavin, “Bro! You can’t keep stopping my credit card! I’m in my twenties already, I also need to save face!”

“Mom asked to stop it,” Gavin replied calmly, “She’s doing it for your own good, afraid you’d squander money recklessly outside.”

“Bro, my dear bro! Help out, can you restore it? Stopping my card is like cutting off half my life!”

“Don’t you have other cards? You’re working at the company now, you should have a salary, right?”

“Bro…”

“Used up all your salary?”

“Dear bro…”

Gavin chuckled, glanced at Cherry, and said, “How about this, your sister-in-law is bored at ho, take her out for a stroll, when I co back, I’ll give you a new card.”

Hearing this, Gerald was stunned, thinking this was inappropriate, right? Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, it’s a taboo!

But Gavin left no room for discussion, adjusted his tie, and left the house surrounded by the driver and bodyguard.

Leaving behind one man and one woman at the dining table, staring at each other.

Gavin was in a good mood today. The thing on his arm had been troubling him for nearly a year, and now there was finally a solution, which naturally relaxed him quite a bit.

However, he was a bit worried about the situation at ho, fearing Gerald couldn’t handle her and would call for help.

Unexpectedly, the whole day, his phone was quiet.

It seed this idle younger brother of his was quite adept at charming girls.

After the afternoon eting ended, Gavin returned ho and saw Gerald lying on the living room sofa playing with his phone, glanced around, but didn’t see Cherry.

“Where’s your sister-in-law?” he asked.

Hearing the voice, Gerald imdiately sat up, “Ah?… Oh, sister-in-law is upstairs!”

Gavin nodded, about to go up, but Gerald pulled him aside and asked quietly, “Bro, does sister-in-law have so… issues?”

He pointed to his own head.
