Chapter 1252: Chapter 1252: Court Session (Purple Sumrs Xiaoming Black Rose)

The court session was held on Tuesday.

Graham Burke was the first to speak. He faced the jury and presented several pieces of evidence—

The razor blade that slashed Sophia Wilson’s throat.

The bloodstains and hair found in the basent.

The trunk where the body was stored.

And a photo of Sophia Wilson before her death, a young, vibrant college student.

“The defendant Hans Geoffrey and the victim Sophia Wilson maintained an ambiguous relationship online for a long ti. The police found hundreds of pages of chat records on the defendant’s computer. Hans Geoffrey took advantage of an empty house to et Sophia and then brutally murdered her! In this trial, we will show you the chat content between the defendant and the victim, and introduce evidence proving when and where the defendant committed the cri, and what tools he used to attack the victim!”

His words were powerful and resounding. As he sat down, he glanced deeply at Purple Sumrs.

Purple Sumrs stood up calmly and said, “It is undeniable that a young girl was brutally murdered. We should indeed be angry and condemn the cri, but we should not condemn Hans Geoffrey because he is innocent. Hans Geoffrey knew Sophia Wilson and did maintain an online relationship with her for more than a year, yes, that’s right, only online. Hans Geoffrey never t her, let alone hurt her!

I stand here repeatedly emphasizing Hans Geoffrey’s innocence, not to make you overlook the severity of this case. On the contrary, I very, very much hope that you will recognize one fact, that is, while we are here making baseless accusations against Hans Geoffrey, the real murderer is still at large!”

Both parties finished their statents, and next ca the cross-examination.

The first witness was the police officer in charge of the case at that ti.

“… after receiving the report, we imdiately rushed to Wind Pavilion Garden. We found a woman’s body in the trunk of Hans Geoffrey’s car. We then searched Hans Geoffrey’s house and found the victim’s handbag and clothes, and identified her with the ID card found in the handbag.”

Graham Burke asked him, “Besides that, what else did you find?”

“We found bloodstains in the basent and a blood-stained razor blade in the trash can. The forensic doctor determined that the razor blade matched the victim’s wound, and the test results confird that the DNA in the blood matched Sophia Wilson’s completely. Additionally, we found Sophia Wilson’s fingerprints in various places around Hans Geoffrey’s house.”

“Did Hans Geoffrey explain this?” Graham Burke asked.

The officer replied, “He said he didn’t know the victim, had never seen her, and had no knowledge of what happened.”

Graham Burke smiled faintly, glanced at Purple Sumrs, and continued to ask, “Is he telling the truth?”

“We collected fingerprints on the victim’s ring,” the officer said, “and they matched the defendant Hans Geoffrey’s.”

“Thank you.” Graham Burke nodded slightly and returned to his seat.

Purple Sumrs looked at Marcel Jefferson beside her, “Are you ready?”

Marcel Jefferson nodded, stood up, and walked to the witness stand.

“Hello, Officer,” Marcel Jefferson asked politely, “May I ask, what did you do after you found the body in the trunk?”

“We promptly arrested Hans Geoffrey.” The officer answered.

Marcel Jefferson asked, “Could it be that soone else put the body there?”

“That’s unlikely.”

“Why is it unlikely?”

The officer replied, “Because we found the murder weapon and bloodstains in Hans Geoffrey’s house, and it was determined that the initial cri scene was the basent of that villa, and at that ti, Hans Geoffrey was the only one in the villa.”

“Is there any evidence to support this?” Marcel Jefferson asked.

The officer shook his head, “We did not find any fingerprints at the cri scene other than those of the victim, the defendant, and their family mbers.”

“But if soone really wanted to fra Hans Geoffrey, the real culprit would certainly be cautious and not leave their fingerprints.”
