Chapter 1235: Chapter 1235

The morning was slightly cool, the sumr heat gradually fading away.

A row of tall parasol trees in front of the prison gate cast long shadows in the sunlight, with birds chirping happily around.

Allen Rivera parked the car, showed his docunts, and entered the prison, just in ti to run into Aria Jackson in the front yard.

The two exchanged glances.

“Why are you here too?” Allen glanced at the prisoner behind her with drooping eyebrows, “On a mission?”

“Yes.” Aria patted the prisoner’s shoulder.

Every ti she patted, the prisoner shivered.

“There’s a theft ring, and we haven’t caught the leader yet. We’re counting on this guy to be our informant.” Aria smiled and patted a few more tis, then said to the prisoner beside her, “Behave well, understand? Not everyone gets a chance to atone for their cris!”

“Mm mm mm!” The prisoner nodded cooperatively.

Aria looked up at Allen, “What brings you here?”

“Investigating an old case, looking to chat with an inmate from back then.”

Aria squinted slightly, sizing Allen up and down, with an expression that seed to be half-smiling.

“Sothing wrong?” Allen raised an eyebrow and asked.

“Nothing, nothing.” Aria laughed, “Janie said you’re good at driving, quite unexpected.”

The two brushed past each other. After walking a few steps, Allen stopped, turned back to Aria puzzled, “The driving you ntioned, does it an what I think it ans?”

Aria waved her hand with her back to him and led her prisoner away into the distance.

Allen watched for a mont, not dwelling on the small matter, turned his gaze back, and continued walking inside.

Today, the prisoner he was going to et was nad Hans Geoffrey, thirty-three years old, the general manager of Duke Jewelry Company, with a lovely wife and living in a luxury villa at Wind Pavilion Garden.

Successful career, happy marriage, one could say he was envied by everyone, yet such a person committed a brutal murder.

One day, Hans Geoffrey was driving out. When he passed the community gate, the security guard noticed dark red liquid dripping from his trunk, seemingly blood. The community was ho to wealthy individuals, and the security guard didn’t dare to stop him forcefully. He made an excuse that the electric barrier was broken and under repair, then secretly called the police.

Later, when the police arrived, they found a woman’s corpse in Hans Geoffrey’s trunk, her throat slit, and blood nearly filled the entire trunk.

Hans Geoffrey vehently denied the charge, claiming he didn’t know the woman found dead in his car. However, after police verification, it was discovered that the victim had frequent interactions with Hans Geoffrey online, with explicit chat logs, and the murder weapon along with the woman’s hair was found in Hans Geoffrey’s house. The woman’s ring also had Hans Geoffrey’s fingerprints.

The physical evidence was undeniable, and Hans Geoffrey was eventually sentenced to death. He appealed several tis, but all were dismissed for insufficient evidence.

When Allen t Hans Geoffrey, there was no longer any sign of his forr vibrant self. He was despondent and haggard, his eyes lifeless, void of any hope.

Allen gently placed the photos of the two Black Rose victims in front of the man.

“Do you know these two won?” Allen asked.

Hans Geoffrey’s gaze fell on the two photos.

Allen stared at him, closely observing any subtle expression, yet there was nothing, absolutely nothing.

Hans Geoffrey’s face was lifeless, and he replied woodenly, “No.”

“Take a closer look. They might also be from the Rose Date chat group.” Allen reminded him.

Hans Geoffrey’s mouth curled into a mocking smile, “There are over two hundred people in the Rose Date group. How could I know each one?”
