Purple Sumrs hurriedly asked, “Ryan Wesley, can you contact your uncle now? Zack Wallace has already taken people to the disaster area to find you!”
Zack Wallace was in Spring River, if they could contact him, he’d be the quickest and most efficient!
“My uncle? He’s here too?” It was noisy on the other end of the line, “Okay, I’ll contact him now!”
“Wait! Ryan Wesley…” Purple Sumrs opened her mouth to say Zara Jason had had an accident, but stopped herself.
Ryan Wesley was involved in the rescue on that end. Could he be in danger? Since it was rescue work, there was no absolute safety. What if he beca distracted by Zara Jason’s news and sothing unexpected happened—he could end up harming two people at once?
Purple Sumrs didn’t dare to continue.
Ryan Wesley asked her over the phone, “What’s up?”
“How do we contact you if your mobile phone is out of reach?” Purple Sumrs changed her excuse. It might be better for Zara Jason to speak to him in person.
Ryan Wesley said, “I’m using the logistics team’s phone right now. Even if I had my mobile on, it might not get through; communications here are nearly overwheld! I’ll call you guys back later!”
After the earthquake, people from all over the country were trying to call Spring River; the communication lines were overloaded. However, it would be easier for Ryan Wesley to make calls out.
Others were waiting to use the phone, so after saying a few brief words, Ryan Wesley hurriedly ended the call.
Purple Sumrs imdiately called Alexander Sumrs and told him about Ryan Wesley’s discovery.
Alexander Sumrs was clearly shocked by the news. After a long silence, he asked, “Did Ryan Wesley ntion anything else? Any news about Clyde Sumrs?”
“No, he was in a rush when he called; many things weren’t clear, and he didn’t ntion Clyde. I think maybe…” Purple Sumrs pursed her lips, not finishing her sentence.
The search and rescue had only just begun, and it was hard to conclude the fate of Clyde Sumrs. But surviving an earthquake would certainly be a miracle.
“Purple, I need to go there personally,” Alexander Sumrs said. “Can you go back to Kingsley by yourself when school starts?”
Purple Sumrs anxiously said, “I have a plethora of bodyguards and servants around , it’s fine! Go quickly and bring mom back!”
Just thinking about Atra Blanc being in the disaster area, unaware of how much she had suffered, made Purple Sumrs feel especially heart-wrenched.

“Pseudocyesis is a typical case of hypothalamic dysfunction leading to anorrhea. During a false pregnancy, both the levels of progesterone and prolactin in the blood increase, so symptoms similar to pregnancy appear. It’s actually the result of a disturbance in the connection between ntal state and neuroendocrine system.”
