Chapter 1102: Chapter 1102: Looking Forward to eting_1
Allen Rivera sighed slightly as he spoke and then continued, “Although Black Roses have appeared in all cases, the thods, criminal behaviors, and psychological manifestations are completely different… I think the real Black Rose won’t offend again, and even if they wanted to kill again, they would definitely change their modus operandi and erge with a new face.”
“Such criminals have a strong sense of arrogance. Being imitated feels like their own ga rules are being broken, and with that, the ga loses its fun. As for this case… I think it’s a different person.”
Purple Sumrs pondered, sensing sothing eerie about the situation.
“We’re not sure yet if this case is related to you receiving Black Roses…” Allen asked her, “Have you experienced anything unusual since you received the flowers?”
Unusual?
There was nothing… She already had many bodyguards around her, and after getting pregnant, the number of bodyguards didn’t decrease. Moreover, she was with Alexander Sumrs nearly every day, and nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
Purple Sumrs furrowed her brows in thought, looking up to see Alexander entering from outside, carrying a bunch of Black Roses.
Her face turned pale in an instant.
“Allen…” she stared blankly at Alexander approaching, “I received them again…”
“What?” ca Allen’s questioning voice from the other end of the phone.
“Black Roses,” Purple murmured, “they’ve been delivered again.”
Alexander, noticing the change in Purple’s expression, frowned and glanced down at the flowers in his hand, his face unreadable.
“What does this an?” Alexander picked out a delicate card from the bouquet with two fingers and handed it to Purple, “The person who sent the flowers was stopped by the bodyguard. This thing is anonymous; take a look, maybe it’s from so classmate who’s out of line.”
Alexander was not aware of the recent murder in Clearwater City; he was just displeased with soone repeatedly sending flowers to Purple.
Purple took the card, which only had four words: “Looking forward to eting.”
Still no signature.
Purple’s expression had turned extrely grim.
“What’s going on?” Alexander asked her, sensing sothing was amiss.
“I don’t know…” Purple put down the card, her thoughts heavy, “Among the people I know, no one would send these kinds of flowers…”
Purple looked up at Alexander, “Allen told that soone in Clearwater City received this kind of anonymous Black Rose, and they were murdered two weeks later. I suspect that case… might be related to …”
Alexander’s gaze grew intense, and a hint of ferocity appeared in his eyes.
He turned and strode out of the room; monts later, he returned, hands empty—the bunch of roses nowhere to be seen, presumably disposed of.
Such an item with unclear origins would definitely not be kept.
“I’ve already had soone look into who sent the flowers; we’ll know soon enough,” Alexander wrapped his arms around Purple and kissed her forehead, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here.”
Purple’s tense expression imdiately relaxed, and she gave a slight smile, “I’m not scared, just a bit uncomfortable…”
Anyone receiving this kind of anonymous gift would probably feel uneasy, as if so dark creature had set its sights on them… Moreover, Purple was pregnant and even more sensitive than usual.
She let out a soft sigh and, subconsciously rubbing her belly, felt that life hadn’t been very stable lately.
Alexander also felt the bad on, saying, “Starting next week, you should also bring a bodyguard to school.”
Normally, Purple’s bodyguards would leave her at school and stay outside.
If every wealthy and influential student brought a bunch of bodyguards to school, it would severely disrupt the order of teaching, so this was absolutely not allowed.
“Would that be appropriate?” Purple questioned, “The school strictly forbids any special treatnt.”
“Then don’t go to school next week,” Alexander suggested.
“That’s even less appropriate,” Purple laughed.
“If you want to go to school, you’ll have to listen to . Don’t worry about it,” Alexander pulled her close into his arms and kissed her several tis, “I’ll arrange everything.”
